    "USER FRIENDLY" That is how I would best describe my experience with Bruno. Signing up for insurance can be a horrible experience when you do not know what you are doing. Bruno made the entire process from start to finish as easy as possible. He verified that the plans would work with all of my current providers and was extremely knowledgeable on the different plans that would best suit my family. If you haven't called him already you need to!!!

    I had signed up for new medical insurance effective January 1, 2014 with a Blue Cross Agent who misquoted insurance premium for my plan at $542.00 a month but the new insurance law requires a surcharge for tobacco users. I am a tobacco user and when I received my first bill from Blue Cross, the premium was $693.00 a month.  I called Bruno and gave him information on my health care needs and advised him that I am a tobacco user. Within minutes, Bruno had emailed a proposal back to me with insurance through Humana at a cost of $593.00 a month with better coverage. Bruno was helpful and efficient and I look forward to him taking care of my health insurance.

    My friend loved it; in fact actually improved In terms of health and spirit. What she liked about it was the small size of the residence that allows people to develop a caring and helpful community among staff and residents. Further, the price was right--the monthly cost includes most necessary items which is quite unusual in other assisted living facilities charged extra for many additional items. Its many amenities include activities within the Villas, and all of those available to residents of the 55+ community of Academy Village. More information on the website: academyvillas.org

    It went very well. Jesse understands the ins and outs of the Marketplace insurance offerings as well as Non-Marketplace policies and within a short amount of time narrowed our choices down to two policies that would serve my daughter well. His explanations of the similarities and differences in these two policies were quite clear, making our decision easy...a word I never thought I would use when talking about non-Medicare health insurance for 2017. Jesse also gave me helpful information on some of the changes ahead with my particular Medicare supplement and advised on what appropriate actions he felt were in my best interest. I was surprised at the beginning of our communication to learn that there would be a fee that would cover his work for us. He explained that the insurance companies are no longer paying brokers any commission. Please note that the information about the fee payment came with an email explaining same at the very beginning of our communication. This was not in any way a hidden or surprise cost.

    Northwest Medical Center Oro Valley
    Northwest Hospital-Oro Valley is a very nice place. In some ways it's more like a hotel than a hospital. It's very clean and new, the paid staff is very professional and very good at what they do. The last time I went there was for blood work. Typically, you walk in the door and are greeted by volunteers at the front desk. They are very friendly, but get confused easily. Once signed in, you wait in the front until called in by the admin/billing people. This can often take half an hour. The billing department is generally helpful, but they seemed to need to re-enter a lot of information every time (such as the name of my primary care doctor.) The little offices used for billing are nice and private. Once billing is done they send you back to another waiting room for the test--easily another half an hour or more can go by. Once you get in, it is fast and efficient and professional. Other than the wait time, everything is fine.
