Appliance Repair reviews in Sahuarita

I'm afraid that I have to agree with BR. The repair person (I can only assume it was Phil but do not know for sure as he never introduced himself) arrived not in a company vehicle but in an old broken down Suburban or similar vehicle. He arrived dressed not appropriately but in what looked like whatever he had been lounging around in. He proceeded to take a personal call at length and complain about his dispatcher to his friend on the line. He stated that dishwashers are not for washing dishes but for sanitizing them. This statement was delivered with a very reproachful look. He stated that he needed to order a part that was broken and "Since I was unable to locate the model number of the washer" that it would take a few days to get the part in. He stated this as if I should know where to find model numbers of appliances and was delivered very condescendingly. He then stated that I would have to somehow remove the water from the washer "If you don't want me to put the water all over your floor" Couple of days go by and nobody calls so I of course have to call them. I was told that "Yes the part has come in but our next available appointment is in a week and a half."... I told the lady on the phone that that wouldn't work for me and that I had to go (I was going out the door to get to work) and hung up the phone. I spoke to my wife later that day and explained to her what was going on. My wife said she would call and follow up with them and proceeded to try and get a hold of them but no one answered the phone. When she finally did get someone they told her to call some other guy at a different phone number... This new person never answered. Flash forward to the day before they said they were going to come back. My wife called yet again to confirm and they told her that they canceled everything through our home warranty and stated the reason was that "your husband yelled at me and hung up" I never "yelled" at her I merely told her that another appointment a week and a half away wouldn't work for me and that I had to go. These people are "working" out of their home by the sounds coming over the line when I spoke to them with dogs barking and kids yelling. They are very unprofessional and my first instinct was not to let this dirty tattooed guy in my home. I wish I would have followed that instinct and write this to save the next person a lot of hassle and aggravation Steer clear of these people. I write this not lightly. I have never written a bad review before so do yourself a favor and steer clear of this "company"

    Al's Appliance & TV
Needed three visits due to delayed parts availability (not A'l's Appliances fault); however, had to call the second and third times to verify parts were coming in, rather than getting a call from them. This also may have been the factory's fault.

Terrible, I think Al's Appliance should have checked the part when they received it to make sure it was correct. They did not. Not only did they waist my time but sent a technician out who could not do his job. A complete waste of time on his part. A no win situation for both customer and business. Not an efficient was to run a business for sure. I don't think anyone in business has the right to be rude to their customers. I will never call them again and I don't recommend Al's Appliance to anyone. It's definitely not worth the aggravation and there are a lot more businesses out their that would be more than happy to help us.

Not good, machine was working on occasion before tech arrived. Machine does not work at all now. Sorry and sad to say that office worker and owner were ver unprofessional and down right rude to me and my daughter when we called to request someone come back the next day to get machine to work again. Again, very very unprofessional.

    Sears Home Services
Technician arrived and I had the washing machine apart ready to go. All he had to do was perform a quick test and take of the broken Rotor which was about 10 minutes of his time. He then quoted me to replace the part (which he did not have on hand as he was supposed to) would cost $90 and take 10 days. This same part cost me $57 on He then told me it would take me 5 minutes to put the part on and screw it in with 1 bolt and the job was complete. Meanwhile I asked what would he charge to install this part (because the $80 fee for his appointment that day would be waved) and he said for him to do this 5 minute job would cost $175 in labor!!! I was floored. So what will cost  me $57 and 5 minutes of my time (plus the $80 I now had to pay for 10 minutes of his time), they wanted to charge $280 for them to do the job!! Will NEVER use or recommend this company again!!

Pioneer Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc
A week before Christmas our water heater quit working.  This is not your ordinary water heater, it is a LPG direct vent special order appliance.  We found a replacement at Lowe's that would be available for pick-up in January.  My husband suspected that the thermocoupler was bad, but he also noticed water on the bottom pan of the heater, so it was also leaking.
Since we did could not go without hot water for 2 weeks, we thought maybe we could just get the thermocoupler replaced as a temporary fix while waiting for the new heater to arrive.
We called Jim Foster at Pioneer Plumbing and he spent the morning trying to find a different water heater that might be available in a more reasonable time frame. No luck. He didn't want us to pay for a service call just to replace the thermocoupler because we live up in the  mountains, so he was able to talk my husband through removing the thermocoupler himself, then told him where to get the right replacement.  He was available any time my husband had a question, even though there was nothing in it for him.
If I ever need the services of a plumber, I will not hesitate to call on Pioneer Plumbing.  Judging by his customer service when he had nothing to gain, his expert advice, and his familiarity with this unusual product, I can't imagine that his hands on work would be any less stellar.

    Fred Allen Repair
I called Fred after hours as I noticed that my refrigerator was warm when I returned home from work.  He called me immediately the next morning.  He was booked for the day.  I explained that I have a 2 year old and was 9 mos pregnant and Fred committed to doing the work as soon as he possibly could - that day.  He was running a little late and called to let me know.  He stayed after his normal working hours to fix our refrigerator.  Before talking to him, I was convinced that the appliance would need to be replaced.  He fixed it for a fraction of the cost.  Further, he explained exactly what was wrong and exactly what he did to alleviate the problem.  I am SO APPRECIATIVE for Fred's timeliness, professionalism and eagerness to help.  How fortunate I am to have a refrigerator in the first place!  How happy I am to have a "go to" appliance guy now!  Thank you, Fred!

    Christie's Appliance
I actually used Christie's Appliance Repair twice in the matter of one month, the first time for my oven and the second for my clothes dryer. Frank was the repair man both times, and he is excellent. Scheduling was really easy. Frank was right on time for both appointments and diagnosed and fixed both problems quickly and accurately. The charges were very fair and Frank was very clear aboutt he costs up front and what they covered. This was my first real experience with major appliance repair, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use them for any future needs.

They have standard service. They are reliable. I felt the price was reasonable. They responded quickly to my call. They failed to fix one of the problems because they told me it was fixed but it wasn't.
