AHeidi's Events and Catering Venue was definitely the ideal place for our wedding ceremony and reception. The ambiance was very romantic and beautiful, and the facility fit our needs perfectly. The ceremony was magical, and I couldn’t have pulled this wedding off during COVID without Jillian Zeeb, Tonya Schmit, Adam Ziminsky, Shelbie Hess and the rest of the dedicated staff members. Jillian was awesome to work with going above and beyond ensuring all of our dreams were realized while coming up with awesome suggestions (that also helped with our budget). Her attention to detail was something that would inspire military generals! Jillian also took it upon herself to arrange our flowers and decorations just the way I envisioned. The food presentation was exquisite, thanks to Adam! The comments we received from our guests was that they felt as if they just dinned at a 5-Star restaurant and a wedding happened to break out! The staff servers were attentive to all the guests needs with the service being top notch. I strongly recommend Heidi's Events and Catering to cater your next event or wedding!

AI've never worked with a more attentive and helpful vendor. When planning my wedding, PJ would respond within 5 minutes of EVERY email I sent. These questions ranged from if water bottles would be included, to the type of licensing PA requires for our outdoor venue. PJ's staff was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. When my brother gifted us with handcrafted apple cider for our October 2020 wedding, the staff creatively curated a spiked drink to incorporate the gift. The little touches and the overall knowledge, skill, and attitude makes PJ's company the best you will ever work with!

Recent Review:
AI was moving from Bellingham, WA to Sedona, AZ and had made arrangements in advance for Beagle Moving. Come to find out, the trailer with my household goods did not arrive until a week after the scheduled date. My contact person, Mark, was completely understanding regarding the change and ended up sending me more men than to help with the move once the trailer did arrive than I had contracted for. When the crew arrived, on-time, they set to work and had the job done within the scheduled time. They all worked hard, were courteous and friendly and I would use them again in a minute. I appreciated the lead crewman, Jason, in particular, but everyone was very helpful and went out of their way to do more than I would have considered to be part of the job.

Hey, I'm Lance! I became a professional online portrait artist in 2006 after my family was taken from me in a tornado losing my mother, father, brother, and son. Twenty-eight lives were taken as well as all their possessions, like mine. I drew from destroyed photos their families so they could have memorial portraits of them at the funerals and for the rest of time. Since then I have made a living traveling the country doing shows and drawing from photos you email me on line. There is NO GIFT...

AHe drew it and took pics of himself doing it otherwise we wouldn't believe even drew it. It looks like a photograph. We've never seen anything like it. He's amazing. He has also hand drawn pictures of my wedding and of my grand father for his funeral service.

AMy Arizona GuideReally awesome!! Debra and David were ideal ministers for our wedding -- they understood our wishes, desires and needs with minimal direction, and were very helpful to us in writing our vows and our ceremony, providing input in to how to organize everything, and most importantly for me (groom) in making me feel comfortable in this very special place - high atop a rock on the edge of the Grand Canyon. We fell instantly in love with the place on our first visit, and could not wait to be married there. Debra and David were amazing additions to our celebration, and we are excited to meet them again in the future to renew our vows in the Grand Canyon!- Tim C.

FGlamorous OccasionsThe following review will be full of important information you may find helpful if you are planning a wedding and considering hiring this "firm". I use the term loosely, as there was nothing firm or "Glamorous" about Dana's participation, or lack thereof, in our event. Absolutely no pro-activity whatsoever. Any email sent to her with questions typically took 2 weeks to receive a response. The bride was not put in touch with the Officiate until 3 days before the wedding! Let me get the good out first-the list is so much shorter. The flowers were absolutely beautiful-no doubt about that. Hint to Dana: stick with what you know, client service is NOT your strong suit. The cake was beautiful and delicious, in spite of the fact she did not supervise the cutting and the catering staff desecrated the top which should have been saved for the traditional 1st ann. The wedding day, was 9/13/13. We heard nothing from her until we called her. She told us she would meet us at 11. That never happened, nor did she call. If she was the caring person you would expect from a wedding planner you are paying a good buck to, you think she would ask if everyone arrived for the event ok, how is the bride holding up, are you excited?anything to indicate an iota of interest. She was to meet me at 3 to set up the room for the reception I was there, she was not and the set up was completely wrong. The wait staff said they had no instructions. I provided a copy of the table and seating plan to them. The wait staff quickly did as I asked. I went to help my daughter with her preparations, calling Dana to ask where she was and that I was very upset. She showed up about 45 mins later, id?d me as the mother-of-the-bride, and could clearly see I was upset. She did not acknowledge that or that I called her, nor did she extend any offer to understand what she could do to rectify it. By now, what was a slow burn, is beginning to heat up nicely. The ceremony was to take place at 5. The site was several miles away at Yavapai Point. If we hadn?t asked how we were to get our guests, AND THE BRIDE, to this area we would have been left to hike it over to the buses and get ourselves there, with all the regalia. She said between her, the Officiate, and the photographer they could get most of us there. Fortunately the Groom had friends attending that had a rental car. Now, getting the boutonniere to the Groom presented the next challenge to this ?professional? planner. She had to ask us three times where she could find him, she had to ask the Bride what his name was! What?!? The plans had been underway for 8 months! It was 5:05 before she finally got us in cars to head to the ceremony, which proceeded about 45 or more minutes late. Remember that slow burn? It is growing. Now we?re at the site, and it is a ¾ mile walk from the parking lot to the point. OK, not usually a problem, unless you're wearing high heels and carrying a full wedding gown. Could a ?professional? planner had shared that tidbit in advance? We could have had slippers or flats or something. Dana?s assistant was a trooper. She, at least, was working like a dog reacting to what was needed to the best of her ability. After climbing over a break in the wall to move from the paved path to the rocky point, my Husband helped his daughter climb over and proceeded down the ?aisle?. I, was left to my own devices to climb over, and very nearly fell as I walked up to the grouping. Thank heavens for Dana?s assistant who grabbed my arm just before I was on the way to kissing the rocks. Pictures of this awkward procession show Dana, standing well back on the paved path with her arms crossed , above it all. The burn is now a healthy fire. Dinner was fine, albeit a bit overcooked and dried out. No wonder, we were over an hour later than ?planned?. The fire has now outgrown its confines. I invited Dana to step outside for a few words. I blew and I blew big. No accountability, just excuses. She claimed she never got my vm from earlier in the day-spotty service is what she said. I suggested that as a ?professional? business person she should have reliable phone service. There are plenty to choose from, and not a single one of the 13 adults with various cell phone services had any problem with reception. She said no one had ever before talked to her the way I was talking to her. Really? Frankly I don?t believe that and I told her as much and that it was a shame because she may have actually learned a thing or two about delivering to client?s expectations for which they paid. I now see other reviews of this ?firm? that say pretty much the same things I?ve said here. Why have a business geared to pleasing people when you clearly don?t care about them or whether you are doing a good job. Just take the money and run? Bottom line, find another planner or do it yourself. The venue was great. We enjoyed ourselves despite Dana?s failing us so miserably.- Karen K.

FCassandra's Weddings & EventsCassie contracted with my daughter to be her wedding planner. I am not sure how much she paid, but whatever it was, not a penny was worth it. The wedding took place in Nogales and Cassie works out of Tucson. If she could not do the coordination from that distance, she should have told us. Instead she continued to maintain her contract (and collect her fees) despite the fact that she did next to nothing. The brides mother (myself) and the bride and her bridesmaid did all the planning and coordination of the food for both nights, procuring the rental equipment, meeting with the site owner, setting up the bar, and communicating with the DJ, cake vendor, flower vendor, and providing lodging for all who attended. Cassie came down to the site one time and said and did nothing. Furthermore, during the wedding, she agreed to help coordinate the wedding itself. She did do a little bit, but she arrived only 2 hours before the wedding and had to be told what to do. I thought a wedding planner's job was to coordinate everything and tell us what to do! Sooo many people complained about her! Where is she? Why isn't she doing this? So many details of the wedding that need attention was done by myself or family/friends who helped. Cassie did stand there and help with directing the ceremony, She was supposed to set up the centerpieces for the tables, and I am not even sure she did that. I would NOT recommend this person to anyone! She provided no support, no coordination, and that most important of what wedding families need: peace of mind that someone is taking care of everything!- Barbara H.
