AHASSAYAMPA CANINE RESORT & SPAAWESOME! I can't say enough about Hassayampa and the owners, management and staff! Everything is clean, from the parking lot to the facilities themselves and odor-free, and everyone there are a pleasure to talk with and deal with! Pleasant, personable and courteous without being condescending, too!!! I go there every time in Arizona, and honestly can't see myself going anywhere else!!!- tom d.

FHASSAYAMPA CANINE RESORT & SPAI have been bring bringing my little man, Rokee, to this facility the entire 8 years that we have lived in Arizona. When the new owners took over a little while back we thought it was great. We figured it's owned by a vet so our little guy would be in even better hands. We were wrong. Very wrong!!! We dropped off our 1 year old catahoula, Nola, and our 12 year old papilion, Rokee, for an overnight stay on Saturday, March 10th, 2018. Fortunately this incident happened on an overnight visit and not during one of our usual week long excursions or our little man would likely be dead. We picked them up from Hassayampa Canine Resort about 6pm Sunday, March 11th. Once we got Rokee into my lap and headed home my husband remarked on Rookie's appearance. He didn't look good. I realized his breathing was faster than usual and we began to question whether Rokee had been injured during his stay. When we walked into our house Nola bolted for her water bowl and drank and drank and drank as if she had not had access to water for awhile. Within a half hour of arriving home I called Hassayampa Canine Resort to see if anything had happened to Rokee while he was there. I got their answering machine and left a message regarding my concerns. Within an hour of that phone call I had Rokee in the pet ER in Prescott, AZ. The vet took one look at him and said his coloring looked bad and immediately took him out of my arms. Turned out Rokee was in full blown congestive heart failure!!! His lungs were filled with fluid and they could not keep him out of the oxygen incubator for any longer than 5 minutes. They used medication to draw the fluid from his lungs for two days. Had they not been able to accomplish that Rokee would not be here today. My little man was in crisis and the people caring for him at the Hassayampa Canine Resort did not even notice!!! We noticed something was wrong IMMEDIATELY!!! We are incredibly lucky Rokee pulled through this experience. With heart medication his condition can be managed. I never got a return phone call from the Hassayampa Canine Resort until the next day! I tried to get the words out to explain what was happening with Rokee, but at that point I thought we were going to lose my best friend. I burst into tears. I told the woman I would have to call her back. I never called back because I am so disgusted and angry with how my animals were treated I decided to post this information in as many locations as I can online to warn anyone considering leaving there pets at this facility for even a daycare situation to rethink their decision!!! I just shared this information with the woman who walks Nola and she informed me a dog was lost from the Hassayampa Canine Resort the day after this incident! Need I say more? After all this we know pets are not safe at the Hassayampa Canine Resort!!!- Kaley F.

AHillside CanineWe are through class 4 of 8 and 2 group classes. The dog has made great progress with the guidance from Shawn Tucker. He knows what he is doing and we will continue further training at Hillside K9 until Shawn Tucker tells us that our dog is complete all steps of her training levels. Never a dull moment with this breed of dog.- Barbara R.

AGranite Mountain VeterinaryWe've had good experiences with Granite Mountain. The costs are in line with what we've paid at other veterinary hospitals in other locations. The veterinary and staff are good with animals and professional.- Kathy D.

AHigh Country Pet ClinicOur dog is like a part of our family, so we did some investigating before we decided on taking him to High Country. The staff was very friendly and professional. Our dog (Oscar) was treated very well and came through the surgery just fine. We couldn't be happier. I suppose the pricing does reflect the level of care which was excellent, so you get what you pay for. Our thanks to the staff and Dr. Ford for their EXCELLENT care!!- Donald R.

FWaggin Wheels Dog GroomingCalled and left a message for this company to schedule an appointment. Took a couple of weeks to return my call which I thought was rude but scheduled an appointment. About an hour and a half before the appointment received a text asking to reschedule because she didn't feel well. Texted back and said okay what were some good dates for her. That was 4 days ago and haven't heard from her since. Such poor customer service. I'll look else where for a groomer.- MARY C.

APeace of Mind Home & Pet Care ServicesPeace of Mind is a very professional business. She came to visit and meet the pets before our trip. She has a written agreement to fill out that covers all health and protection concerns she would need to provide excellent care for our home and pets. This was our first time using Peave of Mind services. I had complete confidence in this service and would definitely use them again. Everything went extremely well. Laurie brings her own bedroll for overnights. It's no fuss for our family.- Virginia W.

APeace of Mind Home & Pet Care ServicesThe provider was very responsive and even texted me to tell me things were going well or to ask me questions about my dog's routine. Everything was in order when I returned an my dog was in excellent spirits.- Marcia K.

APeace of Mind Home & Pet Care ServicesOverall I am extremely pleased with the service and will continue to use Peace of Mind into the future.
Peace of Mind is very professional. Before starting the service, I was provided with a questionnaire including such emergency items as utility shut-off locations, vet preferences, and power-of-attorney forms in case my dog was injured or ill in my absence. The owner, Laura, then came to my home to meet the dog, get a briefing on medications, supplies, and other issues.
The owner, Laura, has been the sole provider of service. In other words, there has not been a parade of strangers in my home.
Laura takes excellent care of my dog, leaving written notes on each visit and mentioning any issues she may see. Additionally, she gathers mail, packages, and newspapers giving my house that "lived in" if I am gone longer than usual.
I would highly recommend Peace of Mind.
