    They were not up to the task. We made appointment they would show up with two guys for an hour or so then leave. They would make another appointment for a week later, show up with two guys and work for an hour and a half and then leave. They left us in a mess. Hired another electric company. They showed up with one guy and had everything working in less then two hours.

    Install was top notch, no changes to the bid proposal or cost during installation. Won't know how good the A/C will be till next summer, and the heating season has yet to start. So will find out about performance of the system later, but I have no reason to believe it will be sub-par.

    1) In late-December 2015, I met with Lollar Electric at my property in Prescott.  I requested a cost estimate for replacing numerous electric outlets and other electrical wiring.  
    2) On January 12, 2016, I received an email with their proposal.
    3) On January 13, 2016, I confirmed receipt of Lollar's proposal.  I advised them that I would get back to finalize timing after completion of other remodeling projects that were in the process of starting.
    4) On April 19, 2016, I sent Lollar an email to confirm a meeting at my home to finalize their proposal re setting the date for this work to be done.  My email requested a meeting at my Prescott home on Friday, April 22, after 3 pm.
    5) Tim from Lollar called me back a few days later to confirm the meeting.
    6) On Friday, I arrived at my Prescott home at 2:30 pm.
    7) After my wife and I waited 2 hours I called Lollar's office number on their proposal and no one answered.  I left a vm.
    8) After waiting additional time, at 5:25 pm I sent them a text message: "are you coming to my home?"
    9) After 6 pm, with no response, my wife and I returned to Scottsdale, a 1 1/2 hour return drive.
    10) On Saturday, April 23, I sent an email from my residence in Scottsdale to advise Kevin of their "no show" and to call me
    11) One hour later I received an email from Kevin that he was out of town and asked me to call their office, which I had previously done.
    12) On Sunday, April 24, I sent a reply to Kevin "out of town" email and advised him of my frustration and inconvenience that their "no show" created for my wife and me.
    13) On Sunday evening, I received a early-evening call from Tim.  He was responding to my complaint email to Kevin Lollar.  Tim claimed that I misunderstood his conversation when he called to confirm our meeting earlier in the week.  He said that he did not confirm the April 22 meeting.
    14) I disagreed with Tim and reminded him of my email that confirmed Friday, April 22, after 3 pm at my Prescott home.
    15) Tim continued to disagree and repeated his assertion that I misunderstood and said that he no longer would discuss that issue.
    16) With no apology, I continued to express my dissatisfaction, as I did not want to repeat this "no show" again. Tim indicated that he was no longer interested in doing the proposed work and hung up.
    17) I have been a member of Angie's List for quite some time  I have used many contractors on their  "A", which Lollar Electric shows as their rating.  Up to now, I have never complaint a complaint.  My prior 2 reviews where "A" rating with others.
    19) Given the aforementioned circumstances and the lack of professionalism, I feel that I have no other choice but to alert other Angie's List subscribers.

    Sun Valley Solar Solutions LLC
    SVSS did a fabulous job from the original estimation and sales help, to submitting plans and paperwork to our utility and to the city for permitting, to the installation and startup of the equipment. I did an independent analysis of the system requirements and approximate cost for 100% offset (we generate as much electricity as we use over a year's period) for our home and my estimate matched up with SVSS's estimate within 5%. At that point I knew that they know what they are talking about and that I wasn't getting jerked around with more system than we needed or at some obscene price point. 

    Installing and commissioning a PV solar system is a lengthy and involved process. SVSS was right there the entire time. Communications were excellent. The actual work performed was done very neatly to high standards an was completed promptly. The construction workers cleaned up after the job and left the property in excellent shape. After the utility came out and installed the bi-directional metering system the panels/inverter started right up generating solar electricity. 

    SVSS uses the most efficient PV panels available from SunPower.  They are an "elite" dealer for SunPower. I would highly recommend this system and the use of SVSS to walk you through the estimation and installation process. The price is a bit higher (but not excessively)
    than for lower quality components and is the only reason I gave price a "B" grade. You will still be getting "A" quality value for this installation. 

    Call Kelly at (480) 689-5000 and let her give you a quote. She was engaged throughout the entire project, easy to talk with, is down to earth, and doesn't try to sell you more than you need or want. We developed an excellent working relationship and that just adds to the confidence of the quality of the job.
