    I had a 7:30 service appt. I stood in the service area for 20 minutes without even getting checked in. (While others arriving after me did get seen to.) At 7:50 I left very disappointed with my treatment. There are plenty of less costly options available for servicing my car, I expect a higher level of customer service at a dealership to justify the cost premium. I received very poor customer service at this dealership. I have bought 2 Honda CR-V vehicles and unfortunately this experience has left such a bad taste that I question whether I am interested in using this dealership for my next one. I believe poor customer service is possibly the norm at this dealership as I remember slow service on my only other encounter here.

    AAMCO Transmissions
    Staff was very friendly and professional. Had trouble with the delivery of the transmission and they paid more (out of their pocket) and went out of their way to go pick up another one themselves. A couple of other problems ( no fault of their���s) but they went out of their way And remedied them very quickly

    They let me drive 3 different models of cars, pretty much over the route I wanted to try it out on. I used the pricing from Costco, which they agreed to match right off the bat. So it was real easy to get a vehicle through them, as opposed to come other places in town.

    The oil change was good. They said they tightened 2 bolts. Upon inspection they removed all my splash guards to stop the noise. They removed my jack under the hood and did not put it back. They charged me $36 for oil change and $130. for what they said tighten 2 bolts. I called their main office and they called back and said prescott office will call. They never did. Over a month and they will not talk to me.

    My wife and I brought in our 1955 Chevy (which is in excellent shape) to Grease Monkey to be greased and lubed.  Inside the waiting room the employees were very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant.  However, after a time, an employee came in to tell us that they could not grease all of the fittings as some of the zerts were "broken" or just wouldn't take.  The large nut at the back differential, we were told, was too difficult to turn and they declined to check its grease.  We asked them if they could use a different tool such as a vice grip to undo the nut.  They declined and we went home with 80% of the fittings not serviced and the rear end unchecked.  We still had to pay the full price even though they did not complete the job.  I have stage IV cancer (which is the reason I no longer work on my cars) and my wife has Multiple Sclerosis, but when we got home we decided that we would do the job ourselves.  We had no trouble filling all of the zerts.  None were broken as they had said.  The back differential was difficult to undo with a wrench so we used a simple vice grip and it came undone.  The back differential, by the way, indeed needed oil.  We were puzzled as to why Grease Monkey could not do the job.  All we could figure out was if any extra amount of time at all or a different tool needed, they just go on without trying to put a little effort into completing a job.  It is alarming that a business that specializes in grease jobs doesn't adjust to simple problems. We also wondered how many people have gone home without a complete grease job. We complained to management at corporate headquarters to let them know that at the very least they should notify customers ahead of time if they don't think they can do it.  The management called us at home and told us that they were going to send us a check for not doing the job.  Its been almost three months and we still have not received any check.

    Any vehicle repair of any kind, they are top-notch. I've been using them since 1979. They were able to diagnise and fix the problem within hours. It was faster than I expected, and I've been using their services for many years. I don't think I've had ever had to take it back for a re-do. I do a lot of my own mechanical work, so I'm picky. They're not the cheapest, but it's worth the price. I trust them with my vehicles.

    Doughboy Auto Repair
    May of 2014 we had a belt installed on our car. In January 2015, we noticed that the belt had already started to fray. We took the
    car back to the Doughboy. He replaced the belt on the same day and there was no charge since it was covered under warranty! When we picked up our car, we asked the mechanic to look at our Jeep as we had an issue with the brakes. He looked under the hood an immediately spotted a simple issue that we could fix ourselves. I've taken our family cars to the doughboy for over 3yrs now and have always been very pleased with his work. They are friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. They stand behind their work and the parts they sell. He has done everything from major overhauls to simple fixes for us. It is nice to know of an honest mechanic in the Prescott area. Very highly recommended!
