Nothing was scheduled as he said he was booked 3 months out.

3 months is an unacceptable time frame. This service is obviously mismanaged as it has not hired enough employees to do the scheduled work in a timely manner. Not a good sign.

(1) On October 3, 2015, Dale installed a new disposal and dishwasher, both of which required new water supply lines to the kitchen faucet. The service cost $180.00. (2) On October 5, 2015, Dale repaired a bathroom sink which was leaking, a leaky outside faucet, and adjusted a "hard to open" door to the garage. The service cost $113.75. (3) On October 10, 2015, Dale bought and installed 5 new smoke alarms for the house, and repaired and cleaned a large pendant light hanging from a 20 foot ceiling. The service cost $169.00.

Dale did an outstanding job the 3 times he was at my house. This is the reason I contacted him on subsequent occasions. He's knowledgeable in his job and was able to fix the problem areas. Dale is polite and professional in his dealings with everyone. I was not at the house on 2 of the occasions, but had a representative meet Dale to do the repairs. My representative was very complimentary of Dale and described him as a good person and easy to work with. I will definitely call Dale again and have already highly recommended him to several neighbors.

Dale Carroll came out to provide an estimate for some tile work that I needed done in the bathroom. He was professional and seemed interested in solving the problem. However, he suggested that I remove the window and put in a skylight instead to prevent water building up on the tile from the shower. I told him I would rather replace the tile and have it angled so that it would drain the water because I wanted to keep my stained glass window. He left without giving a price. He did not say that he wouldn't do the job, but I guess I was supposed to discern that he wouldn't? He never called back with a price. I thought he was going to check pricing on material and such and give me a price. Disappointed.

Contractor did not follow up with pricing.

New front door installed.

We wanted a new front door. We went to Home Depot, purchased a pre-hung door but didnit want to try to insall ourselvs. We called Dale Carroll the owner of Discount home Service and he came out and gave us an estiment. His man showed up on time, did a very good job and got it done the same day. He had to remove the molding on the inside to make the install. He replaced the molding and all we had to do was a little touch up on the inside paint. he offered to come back and do this but it was so miner we didn't need for him to return. The owner of this company never takes money up front. He will estimate the job and after it is done he will send an invoice that includes a 2% net thirty discount. His pricing is fare and not over budget.

He installed a new door and added two locks to the door.

The technician's name was Steve. The work was challenging at time and he maintained a great attitude the entire time. He really knew what he was doing and did a great job. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dave repaired water-damaged archway in our front entrance by adding some new drywall, plastering, caulking, and painting the damaged area. Also replaced bathtub drain plug.

The job went well, however it took several trips(sessions) because material had to dry several times between coats of plaster mud and paint.

We needed a kitchen outlet replaced, as it had "blown". Work was done the same day I called. We have used this business twice before for remodeling and painting. Company will bill us, thus the amount for service is not entered.

I called late morning to set up a date/time to have the outlet replaced. Electrician was here by 3 p.m. the same day.
