Excellent!! Very nice people, very caring for my dogs. They do an incredible job in listening to what we ask for and dogs always look perfect. It is obvious they care for the animals and treat them extremely well. Finding a good groomer is a task, and Royal Crown is very busy. I make sure to schedule my next visit when I am picking up my dogs. I highly recommend them.

My 3-yr old German Shepherd, Drogon, was usually good around people, but was always overly aggressive around other unfamiliar animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, you name it), so I stayed away from areas where he might come in contact with them. When our daughter moved home with King, her 3-yr old Shepherd mix, we attempted to acclimate them, but things quickly got out of hand so we knew we needed help. We inquired around town and were referred to Best in Show Dog Training. After our phone conversation with the owner, Orlando, we had him evaluate the dogs in our home. He gave us tons of useful tips to improve the situation and let us know there were several ways that he could help. Key was that we needed to have the dogs obey our commands even when distracted by anything else. We chose to board each of them with him for his 4 week Core Camp session starting in late January. Orlando’s training sessions with the dogs were very productive. Drogon and King were taught how to learn, refined on basic obedience, and trained to stay in control and follow commands with little to no body language even around heavy distractions. He provided us with coaching sessions to teach us how to lead the dogs as well. Between coaching sessions and throughout the process, Orlando sent us mini update notes and videos. It was great to see their progress throughout the camp. During our last transfer session for Drogon, Orlando took us to a couple of dog parks. While many of the other dogs were barking at him, Drogon stayed in control. Before leaving Core Camp, both dogs were following our commands and even lying on the ground next to each other, listening to us as opposed to focusing on one another. Amazing! Since coming home from camp, the dogs have continued making progress. Both dogs tolerate each other at home as long as we are there to provide leadership. Also, I go everywhere with Drogon now without fear of his aggressive behavior. People are constantly commenting how well behaved he is. Little do they know that until recently, that was not the case. I highly recommend Orlando at Best in Show Dog Training to anyone in need of dog training. It’s made a big difference in their behavior, in our relationship, and in our home environment!

It went great! Pat is so sweet and we never worry about our dogs while we're gone. She sends pictures and updates. She's incredibly reliable, responsible and professional. I don't know what we'd do without Pat!

They are awesome. They are an independently owned veterinarian. They have let me make a couple of payments to pay them.

I went to them for 25 years. They took care of two cocker spaniels. I also had two cats. They have always been reasonable. I will be taking my dogs back there. It will be worth it in the end. They are far and I have to get on the highway.

Over they years, they have treated me and my animals excellent. You call them up and talk to them on the phone. They get you in right away. Everything as far as communication is very good. They get you in the same day especially if you have something very urgent going on. You do not sit there for hours waiting to be seen. I haven't had any problems with anybody.

My little guys aren't use to riding and I'm not use to dealing with them on a long trip.

That's where I go for vet as well. July 4th the cost is going to be $25. On price they're expensive. Their quality is good. On professionalism, I had to ask her to clip his nails and that's part of the deal. They get you in right away.

He's very good, I love him. For overall rating, I was going to grade them an “B”, but I understand why it happened. They told me when I took her in that they were going to have to start an IV on her in order to euthanize her. I said, “Why!” They said, “We can’t get close to enough to give her a shot.” I said, “Would it cost the same irregardless?” They had to muzzle her in order to IV her. I told them, “Good luck with that!” I don’t understand why they didn’t just give her a shot. I don’t understand that, but they said they had to do it that way, but they explained it to me. They were really caring. The price was par for the course. I don’t know what the going rate on euthanasia is. He’s very good, I love this man.

They have done everything else. I had taken my long-haired into the emergency hospital one night, because her back went out. Dachshunds are known for their backs. They were idiots there. It was a Saturday night, they were just idiots. They told me point blank, She needs surgery! I said, How much is it going to cost?Thousands! I said, What do you mean thousands? Well, we can't put a pin point on it, but thousands and it may not work. I told them, ?You know what, give me some pills, medication, let me take her home, and I'll take her to my vet on Monday. I took her to my vet on Monday and he says, ?Do you mind if I do x-rays?? I said, ?No, go do x-rays.? He took me in, he showed me the x-rays. He showed me where it was swollen there, the discs looked like they were rubbing. He goes, ?I would like to try her on some steroids. Would you like to try her on steroids?? I said, ?You know what, yes let?s try her.? I took her home, put her on steroids and the pain pills, within a week later she was back to her normal self.  About 3 years later, I took her back in because her back went out again. He said to me, You know it's been 3 years, we should really do some more x-rays to see if the damage has gotten worse. I said, Okay! So, they did the x-rays and he called me, and showed me the x-rays. He goes, Look, the damage hasn't gotten no worse, it's the same as it was before. I said, Well, that's good! He goes, Yes, it is! This time, I don't want to put her on steroids. I just want to put her on some relaxers and some pain pills. I said, Okay! A week later, she was back to her normal self.  He didn't try to sell me anything. He didn't try to sell me the surgery thing. That's what I care about, honesty! The price was high, but I mean, come on! If someone is leveling with me and is honest with me and I have to pay the price, I'll pay the price. I don't want to be screwed into paying some fictitious bill that is not needed. He's a nice guy, he's caring and he explains it to you. He just doesn't say, This is what it is!? He showed me the x-rays, showed me where it hadn't changed. He was a caring doctor. Then he told me, She's a little on the heavy side, you need to put her on a diet. I said, I know, I?m only giving her a third of a cup of food. She won't eat the dry without wet on it. So, he suggested a wet food. You have to have a prescription for diet dog food.

I took my long-haired to her and she was very good with him, very good with him. She charged a reasonable rate. She got to the point where she couldn’t do him anymore because the dog got Doggie Alzheimer’s, Doggie Dementia. He was not only mean, but everybody, they had to muzzle him to do anything with her, because he was so bad. She’s a h*ll of a groomer, she’s a really good groomer and she charges a very good fee to do it. Especially on a long-haired dog like that. I have been taking my dog there for about 5 years. I would recommend her. Not only the price, but she’s just good overall. She knows her job, she knows her business, she’s very good.

In one 45 minute lesson, Tom will have your pet executing whatever command he has been working. If I tried to do it on my own I would surely give up out of frustration.

There are two keys to making this a successful experience for you and your pet. First, take notes. I found if I entered them into my computer I would not only Renfroe recalling them but would have a clear and concise "Training Manual" when finished.

The second possibly the most important is "repetition". If you do not work with your pet on each lesson frequently, they will soon forget and then you must start all over again.

Do pay attention during each lesson. Tom is teaching you as well as your pet.

If you keep all of this in mind you will have a well-trained pet at the end of training.

We had Chad watch our 2 dogs while we went on vacation.? Our dogs usually have a very hard time being left and don't eat very much.? He did so well with them and gave us updates via his website and whenever we contacted him while we were gone.? We would video chat with him through Google Hangouts so we could see our doggies and talk to them too! Our dogs loved him!? He took them on walks and played with them!? He even posted pictures of them eating and playing!? I feel so comfortable with leaving them to be taken care of by Chad because he really cares for our pets! I will be asking only Chad to watch our pets from now on!? Couldn't have had a better experience!!?
