  • Surgery went as planned other than several utis. Six weeks after surgery I was hit with the most horrific vaginal pain. Went to Dr. Wilkey several times and she could not figure out what was wrong. She sent me to one of her urologist buddies who wasted 6 weeks and could not figure out what the pain was. I was nearly suicidal and missed 5 months of work. I went to another gyno who figured out I had no hormones. I had vaginal atrophy. I am finally on the road to recovery. Dr Wilkey ruined 8 months of my life because she is not knowledgeable. She called me on a Sunday when she wanted to solicit surgery on me and deserted me when things went wrong. Stay away from her!

  • I just love this Dr. - as does everyone. I have two lady friends who also go to him. We all love him!

He is thorough; he is kind, caring, compassionate; he is very knowledgeable; he is not a Dr. who is all and quot;a chance to cut is a chance to cure'. To sum up, I trust him completely and I have had a few issues w/ the female organs. I have been to about three other GYNs here in the Valley - never really liked or completely trusted any of them. I have been seeing Dr. Foltz for nearly 10 years now. If only all Drs could be like him.

Appointments are a bit hard to get so plan for that piece. They are good a reminding you!

  • I soon found out my insurance didn't cover the Mirena IUD. I have to buy the unit from the manufacturer, and then the doctor will do the placement. He promised he'd work with me on the price. I appreciated his willlingness to work with me.

  • The entire experience was terrific. The office staff really had their act together. Even thought this is a busy office they made sure to answer all of my questions. Because Medicare doesn't cover the procedure, they had to give me a breakdown of costs. They went out of their way to insure I received the best possible price. I was quite impressed. Any visit with an OB/GYN can be painful, especially when you have endometriosis like I do. However, it was done with care, and slowly enough that I didn't suffer! Dr. Is a good communicator, and I appreciated his candor.

  • Meeting with the doctor was average, nothing special nothing bad.  They were going to recheck my blood pressure before I left but they forgot.  I do like the hours of the call center and they have been good at helping me to track down test results.  However, my doctor doesn't work on Fridays which makes for a long weekend when you are awaiting results.

  • Dr. Suarez is a wonderful OB/GYN.  He is sometimes difficult to schedule with if you are picky about your availability; however, I figure it is mostly because he is in high demand delivery babies.  I will not use another OB/GYN as long as he is practicing in the West Valley.  The office staff is caring and professional.
