    Since it had been over two decades since its last tuning, we were resigned to the fact that our piano would never sound the same, but Lonnie was able to get to sound terrific. Piano tuning is a difficult art, and Lonnie is a master. We appreciate those who referred Culp's to Angie's List for helping us find him!

    Before this I always liked Sears. Boy, this time I tell you what, I've had a h*ll of a time. I went in and I told them I need a new washer and dryer. I looked them up in consumer reports and everything and I wanted this one washer. I can't have one of those fancy, schmancy washers because I have a closet that it goes into, so they won't fit. I went in and he showed me those 2 washers, a washer and a dryer. I said, okay! He said, do you need free deliver? I said, yea I guess I qualify. He goes, how's that? I said, anything above $499, and my washer and dryer cost $900. He goes, no it's each item. I said, are you kidding me? I said, otherwise delivery would be $65. He says, but if you sign up for a Sears card, we will get it to you free. I said, sign me up. Then they signed me up. He ran up the bill. I said, did you put the free delivery in there? He goes, no I forgot to run you for a credit card. So, he had to back it out, redoes it again. He gets it all done and he charges me $1,000. I saw online that they wanted to charge me $1,100. I called Sears and I said, what's the other $1,000? She goes, Ma'am I don't know where you're seeing that at! Our bill says $1, 020.00. I said, so it is $1,020, correct? Yes! I said, okay! They delivered the washer and dryer, and I had to purchase what they call a dryer kit. The dryer doesn't even come with a cord, you've got to buy an electrical cord for it. That was something like $20. You had to buy new hoses for the washer because they wouldn't use your old hoses. That was another $18 to $20. They come out to install it and I called the kid in who delivered it. He's a real nice kid. I said, let me show you something, this is a very narrow closet. I said, you're going to have to take these out before you put the new ones in. He goes, okay! He took them out. When he took them out, I swept and mopped the floor real quick back there. Then I was going to clean the vent out, where the vent gets all dirty and stuff. So, he never did connect the vent, the old vent. He brings in the new dryer and he hooks it up. I said, I know I purchased a new vent. He goes, yes but I can't use it. I understood why exactly because I remembered putting it in when I moved into this house. The new vent was not a soft flexible vent, it was a hard metal vent. If he would have put that in, it wouldn't have gone back far enough for me to close the doors of the closet. I said, oh, I understand it. I said, go ahead use my vent. He goes, I'm glad you understand it, because a lot of people would have bit*ched about it. I said, no, I understand. He left and I didn't get my vent. Not that I would have used it, I purchased it. He took it and he didn't even ask me if I wanted it. Then I get the bill, I looked at the bill closer and the bill has a delivery charge on it. It was for $59 and something, which I don't understand. I called them and I said, why am I getting charged a delivery charge? I opened a Sears card and it shouldn't have been on there. They go, what about your dryer kit? I said, yes that's another thing. You didn't charge me for my dryer kit, but you charged me $59 for delivery. I am not understanding this! Sounds like they're all going out of business and I hate to see that happen because I like the Kenmore brand. That's exactly why I went to Sears, is to purchase the Kenmore brand. It wasn't the cost of it was the way they billed for it. The salesman was real good and the kid that delivered it was real good. The hard part is that you can't get Kenmore anywhere. Another thing was he said, I've got to verify when you want this delivered. Do you them both to be delivered tomorrow or Saturday? I said, I don't care. He goes, if you want it done on Saturday that's $10 more. I said, no! We can wait till next week, its no problem. He says, do you want it done on Monday? I said, no let's make Tuesday. Charging you extra on the weekends to deliver it! It's like dude if you're going to deliver it, you're going to deliver it.

    Everything went great! Lonnie called when he was on his way, showed up 10 minutes early, and was able to tune the piano once moved as well. The piano successfully made it to the new location without incident. Overall, it was a great experience as Lonnie also provided suggestions for piano instructors which we will be contacting. I definitely would recommend his company!

    From the first phone call to completion everything went extremely well. I spoke to the owner, Fred Reinboldt, and he informed me what he could do and the price. We agreed and he had the work completed in just a few days. I called before pickup and spoke with the office mgr. Patrice who said someone would be there during the time I said I would arrive. Upon arrival and walking to their front door of the shop on 40th Street, I received a phone call from Patrice. She was going to inform me she would be out of the office for awhile. How considerate was that? I was there and picked up the repaired arm chairs that had been reupholstered. The job was neat and looks real good back on my desk chair. BETTER THAN NEW !!! An extra bonus was the discount they gave me for first time customer and a member of Angie's list ! (THANKS) 
    I want to give this business a 5-star rating in every respect. I will be doing more business with them in the future. It should be noted that I drove all the way from Peoria, Az. to their site in SE Phoenix to have this leather work performed. It was well worth my time and trip to do so... Thank you Leather Like New for your service!

    We recently purchased a sofa-bed from a major manufacturer but we were unable to utilize the sofa itself. The seat cushions were very uncomfortable and over-stuffed to the point they felt as if they were ejecting you when you sat on them. Cranson upholstery replaced the foam with a more comfortable version and we can now make use of this sofa. In addition, they re-covered two throw pillows, eight seat-back cushions, and two very large seat cushions that sit on two leather sofas. They also replaced the inserts of the seat cushions with feather-wrapped foam. These sofas (20 years old) now look like new! The fabric is sturdy to withstand both dogs and grandchildren, yet the sofas now appear elegant and stylish and could be shown in the pages of a home fashion magazine! We loved the leather portion of the sofas, but feared that re-upholstering the fabric portions would be cost-prohibitive. We were very happy to find this experienced family business that charges reasonable prices while providing excellent service.

    My neighbors recommended LeRoy to me. They said he listened to what they wanted, was easy to work with, was honest and straight-forward, and did beautiful work. We looked at the work he did for them and saw it was every bit as good as they said.
    We met with LeRoy to discuss work in our oversized den: a floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcase filling an entire wall with a hidden door and wainscoting around the remaining walls. We showed him pictures, discussed various ideas, and told him we wanted it to tie in with the existing woodwork. We also discussed work in our great room where we wanted a floor-to-ceiling entertainment center with base cabinets and display shelves. LeRoy lived up to our hopes and expectations. Everything fits perfectly, the detailing matches the existing cabinetry tying everything together, the quality of construction far exceeds our existing cabinets, and the finish is beautiful. The installation was flawless--LeRoy's team worked efficiently, were careful with the installation, were not satisfied until everything was perfect, cleaned up after themselves, and even dusted and polished the entire project. On close examination, there isn't an imperfection to be found.
    Next, we asked LeRoy to help with a couple small projects--a custom vanity and shelf unit to fit some very tight parameters. He designed and built a vanity and shelf unit to exacting standards that match the adjacent woodwork.
    We were so happy with his work, we asked him to work with us to design and build two complete wardrobe cabinet systems for two master walk-in closets. He came up with some great ideas and incorporated what we wanted with what he knew would work from the cabinetry point of view. The result is unbelievable--every component of the two wardrobe cabinet systems fits like a glove and works flawlessly; the stain matches the existing woodwork, and the finish and attention to detail is amazing.
    The latest project LeRoy completed for us was a set of floor-to-ceiling garage cabinets. The term "garage cabinets" is really a misnomer. They are completely finished--inside and out, have inset metal tracks for fully adjustable shelves, the shelves are strengthened with ribbed aluminum channel to prevent warping and are finished on both sides, and all cabinet doors have soft-close hinges.
    To sum up working with LeRoy: he is easy to work with, has great ideas on what will work and what won't work, has the experience you want, is honest and forthright, and does outstanding work at a reasonable price.

    The Village Woodsmith

    The Village Woodsmith repaired an antique mirror which had been damaged by a moving company. They did an excellent job on the wood frame. The new work matches so well that you can't tell how it was broken. They also found someone to make the custom shaped mirror with nicely finished edges so it's smooth. Nice work and service.

    I have an adjustable 8 year old Tempurpedic bed which stopped working due to a bad motor.  I was able to get information for Arizona On Site Repair from one of our local mattress stores and called Ken to come over and install a new motor.  He was punctual, courteous, professional, and friendly.  The cost was reasonable matched what I was quoted over the phone.  Very happy to have found him!

    Speedy Furniture Repair

    They did an awesome job! The repairs are flawless. 

    Our three boys (in their younger yeas) used the footboard as a vault to jump onto the bed.  It was in serious need of repair (sagging in the middle etc.)

    These guys made it brand new and SO sturdy.  The repair is invisible yet amazingly sturdy.  Ready for another 40 years of wear and tear.

    The dining room side chair cushions are completely rebuilt and wonderful.

    The guys were on time, polite, took time to discuss options and were genuine professionals and artists.

    While pricing is a wee bit high - they are WELL worth the money.

    We are using them for more work in the future.
