Furniture Refinishing reviews in Peoria

From the first phone call to completion everything went extremely well. I spoke to the owner, Fred Reinboldt, and he informed me what he could do and the price. We agreed and he had the work completed in just a few days. I called before pickup and spoke with the office mgr. Patrice who said someone would be there during the time I said I would arrive. Upon arrival and walking to their front door of the shop on 40th Street, I received a phone call from Patrice. She was going to inform me she would be out of the office for awhile. How considerate was that? I was there and picked up the repaired arm chairs that had been reupholstered. The job was neat and looks real good back on my desk chair. BETTER THAN NEW !!! An extra bonus was the discount they gave me for first time customer and a member of Angie's list ! (THANKS)
I want to give this business a 5-star rating in every respect. I will be doing more business with them in the future. It should be noted that I drove all the way from Peoria, Az. to their site in SE Phoenix to have this leather work performed. It was well worth my time and trip to do so... Thank you Leather Like New for your service!

    All Finish Wood Repair LLC
Ron did an amazing job. He completely transformed the set back into what I remember seeing as a child when it belonged to my grandparents. I wouldn't hesitate to have Ron work on any piece of furniture that I needed refinished or repaired.

    The Village Woodsmith

The Village Woodsmith repaired an antique mirror which had been damaged by a moving company. They did an excellent job on the wood frame. The new work matches so well that you can't tell how it was broken. They also found someone to make the custom shaped mirror with nicely finished edges so it's smooth. Nice work and service.

    Speedy Furniture Repair

They did an awesome job! The repairs are flawless.

Our three boys (in their younger yeas) used the footboard as a vault to jump onto the bed.  It was in serious need of repair (sagging in the middle etc.)

These guys made it brand new and SO sturdy.  The repair is invisible yet amazingly sturdy.  Ready for another 40 years of wear and tear.

The dining room side chair cushions are completely rebuilt and wonderful.

The guys were on time, polite, took time to discuss options and were genuine professionals and artists.

While pricing is a wee bit high - they are WELL worth the money.

We are using them for more work in the future.

The intricate wood insert of one of our colonial style dinning chair backs was shattered.  The desk had a mark on it where something had marred the finish.  We put the chair pieces in a bag. Todd picked up the chair and the desk, repaired them, and delivered them.  The chair looked as good as new and was sturdy.  The blemish on the desk was totally gone.  The price was very reasonable.  He was personable, courteous and professional.

A friend accidentally broke the chair into three pieces.  The repairman had to make a new dowel, repair the others, fix cracks, and in general, make a new chair.  He did an excellent job and it was ready for me when he said it would be.  I would certainly recommend his business and will definitely use him again.

    Speedy Furniture Repair
I contacted Speedy Furniture Repair to see if they could repair couch springs, and Manny responded back quickly that this was something they could do. Manny and Gustavo came out and examined the sofa and love seat, described what would be required for the repair, wrapped up both pieces in plastic to keep them safe, and took them away.  Nine days later, they returned with both pieces again safely wrapped in plastic, but now the springs were fixed, covered, and everything both looked and worked great.

We had a coffee table and two end tables refinished (the tops) and a protective finish applied; that work was done out of the house.  We also had a new door stained and a banister "cleaned up".  Manny and Gustavo (sp?) did a great job.  The outside work was finished as projected and the tables look wonderful...we will enjoy the protective coating so much (should have done it before they were "damaged"!).  The new door looks is a beautiful color.

Listed a "B" for punctuality only because there was a delay one day; that said, Manny called to let us know they were going to be late, which doesn't always happen.

We are thinking of having the kitchen cabinets refinished, and will call  Speedy to bid the job when that decision is made.

We wouldn't hesitate to call again for any furniture work.
