    Imagination Childcare
This place is magic! The best experience I could of asked for! The way the teachers cared for my child at Imagination way exceeded my expectations! Every staff member was personally invested in my daughters needs and it showed the moment I would drop her off (you know, when the mom guilt kicks in and you feel so bad leaving your child. These wonderful people understand how hard that is for the mother and child and provide such level of comfort that it made drop off much easier). The curriculum is amazing and the teachers and staff who teach it have helped shape my daughters growth and development. She learned so much academically and socially that I cannot wait for her to start elementary school. She would always come home and excitedly show us what she has learned. I can go on forever on truly what a wonderful place Imagination Childcare is. They treat you like family and I am forever grateful for them being the village that helped raised my sweet little girl!

    Imagination Childcare
My 2 children have been coming here for 2 years. The staff is amazing and seems genuinely interested in the children. They have lesson plans and do frequent activities. The school is clean and doesn't smell, like some others I have checked out. If we miss a day or two my children keep asking when they can go to school. Teresa is the director and always tries to find time to talk with me if there is a concern or to discuss progress and behaviors. Even the owner is there frequently. I went to a lot of places before choosing this one and have never been happier. I have never been concerned about leaving them here. They have learned soon much and I will miss them when we have to leave for kindergarten.

    Little People's Play House
She is flexible with our work hours and treats my daughter like her own. She loves all the children genuinely and is a great help to our family. Maxine is reliable, and best of all my daughter loves going there every day -- which is the greatest relief of all.

    First Impressions/First Steps Preschool
First Impressions has been providing care for two of my children for the past two years. My oldest is in the first grade program there and in one year has developed outstanding reading skills. Additionally, the children learn about manners, being kind to others and participate in a myriad of other projects. The kindergarten and first graders go to the library every week, and are out-pacing many of my friends' children who are in the same grade in public school. There has been very little turnover in the staff during our tenure at First Impressions. This provides a very stable environment for the children. Furthermore, the staff makes an effort to really care about the children in their classes. Overall, this is BY FAR, better child care that I could have ever imagined in a day care facility.

    Children Of Hope
He loved his teachers, he learned a lot, and made a lot of friends. The teachers love the students and are well versed in early childhood education. I also liked how they manage to find creative, inexpensive ways to teach lessons, work on crafts/fine motor skills, and create fun things to bring home (eg I have a laminated Thanksgiving tablemat that I will pull out every Thanksgiving from here on out!).

    GODDARD SCHOOL
My children love their school. They learn so much every day and are super smart. They enjoy calling it school over daycare, because they enjoy learning. The teachers are very loving and caring and communicate well with us as parents. We always invite the teachers to the kid's birthday parties and most often they attend and interactive with our children. We are considering the kindergarten program for our son as it has been highly recommended. Before coming to Goddard we used a couple of different daycares and you just don't know what you're missing until your children attend a daycare program with such a level and standard of performance.I would recommend this Goddard School to anyone.

    Primrose School at Palm Valley
Ms Verlardi, I would like to commend you and your staff on the quality of service your establishment provides for young children. My son was cared for by a close relative of ours from the age of 3 months until 3 weeks ago at 20 months. It was very hard for us to even fathom the thought of him going elsewhere for care where he can't be given 1 on 1 attention. Before finding Primrose, we chose another popular daycare/school chain that was conveniently located near my husband's place of employment. My son's first daycare experience there was just horrible. Their ratio for 12 mos to 24 months was 8 to 1 (actually MOST places I called followed that ratio because it's the AZ State maximum requirement) . At an 8 to 1 ratio we clearly saw that all the teachers could do was "watch" the children and "try" to entertain them. There was not a minute to spare to provide any type of affection to any of the children who needed it for whatever reason (first day, not feeling well, tired, etc...) .We did a one day trial (which we paid for) and secretly popped in and out of the classroom's window (unseen by the teachers and my son) for 5 hours and what we saw just broke our hearts.Being that it was my son's first day in a daycare environment he was very sad and cried off and on in the room and stood in a corner alone. Not ONCE did any of the teachers in the room have time to come to him to console him or hold him even for 5 minutes to comfort him. We saw my son finally gather the courage to come up to one of the teachers and as he  held his hands up asking to be picked up, she just smiled at him and told him a few words then turned her back to move on with what she was doing. Of course, that just set his tears off again. He would stop crying for spurts of 15 mins but cry again out of loneliness and still, NO ONE gave him any affection.During another pop in, we saw my son eating a whole peeled banana at the table alone. The 1 teacher in the room doing story time at the OTHER END of the room had her back turned to my son. What if he was choking? How would she have seen him? That was the last straw. After just 5 hours of him being there we walked in and pulled him out.  I searched on YELP and found Primrose. We did the same trial day at Primrose. My son went in the classroom and we stayed in the Lobby and popped into the window randomly every 15-30 mins to see how he was doing and within 30 mins I could already tell his experience was going to be so much better at Primrose. Your ratio of 5 or 6 to 1 is just right but most of the time the ratio I've seen is 3 or 4 to 1 because once there were 7 kids, there were 2 teachers in the room. The teachers in the toddler rooms are SO WONDERFUL! Not only do they provide the early education the toddlers need but they also provide the right amount of affection to each child to keep them comfortable in their group environment.  I also tend to watch the other kids whenever I am in the room because I know I can see a LOT from the other kid's behaviors that will give me some information on how the teachers are with them. I see the other kids always running  to their teachers to show off the toys they've found or just running up to them to hug their legs. This tells me the kids feel comfortable and find safety and security with their teachers. They run to their teachers to show off their toys because their teachers give them a positive reaction that the kids enjoy receiving. During my son's first week I left my work at random times during the day to pick him up at different times just to see how he was doing on different days and every time I arrived, I always found a teacher either holding him or my son enjoying an activity with the other toddlers like story time, painting or music/dancing time. I LOVE YOUR SCHOOL AND YOUR TEACHERS. Of course I can only mainly speak for the toddler teachers because they are the ones I deal with but on many occasions when teachers from other rooms have seen me in the hallway, they have ALWAYS stopped to ask me if there was anything they could do for me. They even peek into the room and watch my son for me and give me real-time feedback on how my son is doing as I hide away from the door so he doesn't see me. THANK YOU FOR FOSTERING SUCH A WARM AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT! This means the WORLD to all the parents of the Primrose students. I have to also mention the ladies in the front who comforted ME during the first 2 weeks and encouraged me to call as many times as I wanted to check in on my son (and believe me, DID I Call A LOT LOL!) Every time I call, they are so nice and are so happy to give me feedback. Of course, I must also mention your facility. It's so clean! The toys are always clean and bright.  Your daily menu is superb! Sometimes I tell my husband my son should go on his off day because the food being served that day looks so good. :) I love the Primrose App that I am able to download to see the weekly menu, events, and announcements. The last thing I am going to mention is just due to, well...my husband and I being picky people and that is how we appreciate that everyone in your staff always has a presentable appearance! We totally noticed how they have variations of their Primrose Shirts to wear everyday and they manage always look neat which can be difficult since the kids are probably flailing paint, water and food at them throughout the day :) I know we are new and have only been there for 3 weeks but I have also stopped to get feedback from other parents whose children have been with your school for a while and their reviews on your facility and staff are just how I described them above.   I know my son is in the right place. We will be trying for a second child next year and we are looking forward to our experience with your infant care. Please thank your staff for me and again, thank YOU! I am not naming names only because I don't want to accidentally leave anyone out :)

    Gethsemane Lutheran School
Overall, how do you summarize 5 years of going here? We loved it. Just don't get on the bad side of the Day Care Director (Claudia) ... she can be kind of cranky.  (JUST KIDDING CLAUDIA !!! Love ya! ;-) And yes, if we're still in Tempe next summer, we'll be back for summer camp.

Valley Child Care & Learning Center
I love them. He is there for 8 hours. They are open from 7 to 6, and we bring him during those times and it's the same $35.50. We just supply diapers. They will give him breakfast, 2 snacks, and lunch. We have been using them for almost a year. I have nothing bad but good. They work with them individually. We can tell by the little art projects he brings home. They are nice art projects. It is not just handprints on a piece of paper or scribbles. They make things. They make little foam monkeys. It is really good. They are open Monday to Friday. It was word of mouth for them because a sister-in-law had her son in one of them and loved it. I don't have experience with any others. They have a couple of teachers in there. They are not overcrowded with a ton of kids and lack teachers. They are very loving. They know the kids by name. They know my grandson for his little quirks. One time he developed a rash and they called and let us know because they are not equipped for that. My grandson is a little sensitive to a lot of things. They are always there. By the time we get there, they are open and welcoming. They are very professional. They are really good.

I really like them.  I like the security when you pick your child up.  I like the location as well.
