  • James diagnosed the problem, had to order the part, contacted me in just a couple of days to set a time to return, came exactly when he said he would, installed the part and got the dishwasher working perfectly. He also told me that part was under warranty, even though the dishwasher itself was past its warranty expiration. I only had to pay for the initial diagnostic service call.

    they are are currently holding icemaker hostage, FNHW has a complaint in file and has requested a report as to why they missed their appointment and didn't reinstall my icemaker

  • Great experience, quick response time. Mike was professional and personable, he took the time to explain what the issue was and the easy fix should we have this problem again. Price was fair and we are certainly glad we took the chance of having repaired versus replacement. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

  • Leonard was very honest and told us how much it would cost to repair our refrigerator - he let us know it would cost almost as much to repair it as it would to buy a new refrigerator. I really appreciated his honesty and we just decided we'd buy a new unit. It's always nice to find a repairman who is truthful even if that means he won't get the job. We will definitely call Leonard the next time we have an appliance issue.

  • Leonard is matter of fact. The other appliance company was always quick to replace major parts of either the Sub-Zero freezer or Refrigerator. This company is more cautionary, circumspect. The frost developed on the interioe wall of the refrigerator.
    Leonard, after checking pressures etc with gauges and whatnot, decided that the leak could either be tiny and slow or otherwise. He added quite a bit of Freon, advising that the amount of time for the frost to reappear would indicate the size of the leak. It has been over a month and no frost has yet appeared. We'll wait and see. This is much more reassuring than replacing the compressor (I think it was the compressor), a very expensive part plus labor. 
    Good natured and honest folks in this company.
    Quick to respond with appointment; arriving on the dot. Clean.

  • I can honestly not say enough good things about these guys. Our refrigerator went out in the evening. We lost everything in it and the freezer. The next morning I phoned Hillside Appliance Repair. I wasn't expecting to get someone to the house until the next day, but they sent Travis out that afternoon. He came in and did two checks on the appliance. Someone less honest could've told me that the more expensive of the two possible issues was the problem, but he didn't. Instead, all we needed was a switch replaced. He put in a new switch and the refrigerator is working great. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

  • James came out immediately and, with perfect professionalism, he diagnosed the problem and replaced the part.  He even took the time to look at a second under counter refrigerator to assure me that it was working properly.  When my unit continued to freeze everything, I called back and without any hesitation, James returned with a new part.  Apparently, the factory had not set the part properly, and even though there was nothing wrong with the part, James was happy to provide a new one.
    I will definitely call this company again, and I will specifically ask for James.

  • It was GREAT! John was spectacular. He went above and beyond with his service and his recommendations. I really enjoyed his visit and learned quite a bit about new Sub Zero/Wolf products and things to do to maintain my current machines. I am glad that I found someone to service my equipment. I had a fantastic experience, for sure!

  • Roger was on time, very professional and a heck of a nice guy. We just put in new floors so was very conscientious to the surroundings. He also offer suggestions for putting in water leak monitors on the fridge and sink and other water prone areas to protect the new floors and said they could be reasonably purchased at ACE or similar.  Will definitely call Roger again if needed.
