    Wow is all I can say. We called they came and did amazing job. Did so good we set up a standing appt for our dogs. My dogs are not easy to groom and wash yet the groomers we have had have no issues and the dogs go willingly to truck. We have very special needs due to our sons illness and they go over and above. WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER SERVICE. The fact that my dogs dont endure the stress of leaving house, being left at a groomer and the unknowns and having to go n get them I would pay 2x what they charge...

    We are traveling in Arizona to escape the Chicago weather. I needed to get our two Airedales washed and groomed. I searched for a mobile dog grooming service in Tucson that had good reviews and left voicemail asking for a return call. The business owner Michael called me to Iet me know that even though they were already booked for the two days we were available in Tucson, he would find a way to work us in even if it was after hours. I was called each day with an update on availability of appointments. We were also called the night before the final schedule, and again 15 minutes before Charita, the groomer, arrived at our hotel.

    Charita came to meet our dogs and carefully recorded health information and our specific requests for each dog, including clipper size . She then took one dog at a time. Both went with her willingly. Charita did an outstanding job. Our boys were beautiful and smelled fresh and clean. They were all wiggly when they returned. I cannot say enough about the work Charita did and I could not be happier about the cost. I would recommend this grooming service to anyone!

    My dog is very nervous and talkative.  Maura is wonderful with her; calms her down and gives her a beautiful grooming.  I have had this dog for 6 years and Maura is the best groomer I have used.  I am away for 6 months and have not been able to find another groomer that comes close to how my dog looks after being groomed here.  Thank you Maura.

    I actually tried twice to use Dog About Town. The first time I tried to schedule, the truck was in the shop and they weren't sure how long it was going to be so I should call back in a week or 2. I gave it a month or so and then sent an email request for an appointment. I received a phone call back from a man who could not schedule appointments and told me I needed to contact the groomer directly. I thought by sending an email request for an appointment I WAS getting in contact with the groomer directly?? So I call the number he gave me a left a message. I did say CALL right? So I get a text message back asking questions about my dog. We go back and forth and I finally actually talk to the groomer on the phone. We make an appointment at the end of her shift since I live near where she drops the grooming van back off at the end of the day. Great, she is in the area anyway, so I'm not out of the way. The day before my appointment, I have a meeting reschedule and have to cancel the appointment. Do you think I got any response back?? Nope, not a call or text to reschedule. Nothing. Oh, and when I booked the appointment I was able to get in quickly because I do live conveniently near where the van gets dropped off, so I was told I was "lucky". She is usually booked for months. Yep, I felt that lucky feeling through this whole experience. If this is how humans are treated, how are the dogs treated? VERY disappointed.

    I have used Gabi Kats to groom my cat for almost two years.  They arrive at my home in a state of the art van equipped with a bath, grooming table, drying enclosure, etc.  When the van arrives, they call me and I then take my cat in a carrier to the van. You can stay to watch or return to your house and wait until they are done. My cat has long fur that tends to knot badly and she needs help cleaning her backside and I was no longer able  to properly groom her myself.  Now her fur is trimmed, she is bathed, dried, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and she looks beautiful.  She needs grooming about every two months.

    We were extremely happy with Poochinis. 
    I was in desperate need of getting my two dogs groomed.  Our previous groomer had changed our appointment dates twice on us, and we really needed to get these pups groomed!
    The appointment was made.  We were called and reminded the day before.   And the service was great.  Our two dogs were groomed within one hour!  And the job that was done was one of the best we have received.
    It was a nice establishment, clean, not noisy.
    The cost of the groomings was a little more than we have paid elsewhere - but well worth it!
    We plan to become regulars at Poochinis.

    USI PERSON OSTENSIBLY VRY I HAVE USED THIS SERVICE IN THE PAST. IN FACT WRITING A VERY POSITIVE REVIEW WHEN I ININTIALLY USED THEM.
    UNFORTUNATELY THE GROOMER WHO HAD PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED SERVICE FOR MY DOG DECIDED TO WORK ELSEWHERE. THE OWNER (SHANNON) SUGGESTED  NEW GROMMER DESCIBED AS "VERY PROFSSIONAL, WITH LONG EXPERIENCE" THIS INDIVIDUAL DID A HOFRIBLE JOB.
    SHANNON OFFERRED TO SEND ANOTHER PERSON AT NO COST TO TRY AND REMEDY THE SITUAION. THAT PERSON DESCRIBED THE PREVIOUS MY DOG AS "BEING BUTCHERRED" THOUGH SHE TRIED HER BEST, THE TASK WAS DIFFICULT.
    TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY I WAS BILLED AT AN EXHORBITANT RATE DESPITE THE PROMISE OF "NO CHARGE"
    ONLY USE THEM IF YOU WANT TO RISK HAVING A HORRIBLE, EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

    I'm not happy...not the groomer's fault...because I was informed...after the groomer finished that the rates were raised as this provider is no longer taking Angies customers or providing the discount that the cost increased by $16.  Now, this isn't a huge increase...my complaint is, that I arranged this apt five weeks ago, and Shannon O'Dore didn't bother to contact me to tell me of this rate increase ahead of time to see if I still wanted the appt. and so the groomer just went ahead and did the work (with my help as my 15 pound dog was having an issue with the grooming) so I felt I had no choice but to pay the new rate.  But, as I think of it now...many hours later, I am very upset.  Who gets to increase the charge on a contracted service AFTER they have provided it to you...????  What kind of business does that?  I have called and left a message with Shannon.  that is why I answer I would use them again, although I am not sure I would: I hate taking the dogs out somewhere to get them groomed, as I feel it is very stressful, but I equally hate feeling I AM being financially taken advantage of.  And I think it is equally unethical of this business to use it's employees to deliver the message of a fee increase AFTER the service is rendered.  My one dog still has a huge tangle/knot in his hair on his ears which hasn't been dealt with though both were shaved as they had too many knots to deal with in any other way...as discussed with the groomer...this is the dog I had to assist the groomer to hold while she cut the hair on his legs and paws.  Generally they are returned to me with their face and neck hair damp which is always fine by me, because they are afraid of the dryer...so they take less time to groom, but I always pay the full rate regardless.  So, tonight I am not very happy with this service and hope to hear from ms. O'Dore for an explanation.  But for those of you who have appts, I am just letting you know they are no longer taking Angie's list discounts, as apparently they are no longer part of Angie's list, but don't intend to tell you until after you have your dog's appointment.

    Lucinda and her husband were very rough with my shitzu. She came in very red from where they held her and she whimpered a lot that night and was walking around like her back legs were hurt. We also noticed our dog's eye was very red and somewhat closed. At first we thought she may have gotten some soap/shampoo in her eye but the following day my dog's eye was almost entirely sealed shut. We made her an appointment with our vet who couldn't see her until the following day.  Once the vet took a look at her he told us her eye had been cut with something metal. I immediately called Lucinda who completely denied she had cut her. Lucinda told me it had to have happened in our home or with my other dog.  I told her I didn't have any other dogs; then she claimed one of my kids must have done it. She then claimed my dog was a terrible dog to groom and that she had bit her husband but when her husband first brought our dog to our door he said there were no problems with her (this is when my husband noticed the other dog in the truck).  I couldn?t understand how someone could be so cruel and then completely deny the whole incident.  My dog is ok now thanks to the care from our vet.  I am a Christian woman and I don?t believe in taking people to court because I believe we will all answer to a higher court, but I thought it was important to warn other potential customers not to use this groomer!
