    Ronald Walker DDS
Could not get fillings or crown because office staff was so unpleasant and so unreasonable and unprofessional behavior was fully supported by Ronald Walker that they cancelled my appointment which was actually fine with me. Dr. Walker and his office staff have the worst customer service I have encountered probably ever at any doctor's office. Being a physician myself, this is quite a statement. The office staff called me to confirm my appointment 3 times within 2 hours during meetings that I had, severely disrupting my work. When I was able to answer the phone, I asked if they would not call so frequently, and the woman was very rude and said that she would not call as much as long as I returned her call within two hours. I told her that I would return her call when I had the opportunity and that it was not at all reasonable to give me such a deadline for returning a phone call. She also said that if I did not meet her deadline that she would cancel my appointment. Her demeanor and attitude was entitled and demanding and offered zero customer service, courtesy, or regard for the patient whatsoever. Dr. Walker refused to speak to me to address this issue. If anyone wants to actually be treated with respect and to receive quality patient care, you should go somewhere else. It is no surprise that Dr. Walker's reviews on Google, Yelp, Healthgrades, and all of the other similar websites have many 1 star reviews. By the way, Ronald Walker has 2 complaints lodged with the Better Business Bureau. I should have looked this up before I ever made my first appointment.

I did not care for the overall vibe. After moving across the nation, I needed a new dentist office that understands that I have real phobia issues with dentist. When I shared this concern it felt like I was getting lip service. The feeling I get is volume = $$$ and patients are just numbers. My hygienist, Gabby, just wanted to upsale my cleaning. When I said no on the deep cleaning, she gives me the quick 15 min job that was faster than my cars oil change. When the dentist suggests a procedure in earnest and I say lets wait and see (because $$ needed), then I get nagging email to schedule an appointment for the procedure. The overall feeling I get from this place is that the professionals have student loans and mortgages to pay off and they just want shear volume of blurry face clients to help them achieve their goals.

He walked unsteadily and looked ghastly as he entered the waiting room.  They were eager to open the door for us but I told him to sit down which he did.  His head dropped and he became unresponsive.  I suggested we get him on the floor for ease of blood flow. I asked if they had a blood pressure cuff which they didn't, then asked if they had oxygen.  They brought out a portable oxygen unit that had no way of measuring the percentage it contained. In fact,  the 4 people in the office did nothing on their own except look worried and dialing 911. His pulse ox  level after getting to the hospital, and being administered oxygen all the way there was 82, very low indeed.  He was admitted to the hospital where he remained for 3 days.
I wonder what would have happened if I were not there to pick him up.  There were 4 people there who should have some knowledge of first aid, but it was up to me to ask them what they had, what to do and who to call. They just stood immobile around me as I took care of things.
He has no memory of anything from the time he walked into the office until the first night in the hospital so I have no idea what happened in the exam room.  But I do know how he appeared as he came back and cannot imagine anyone in the medical field who would release a patient in that condition and have so little apparent knowledge of common sense first aid.  It was truly a horrible and now very expensive experience.  Do not go there.

We have been with Steve for 20 years. He has done all dental work, fillings, crowns, cleaning, etc. He is-in his words- "Allergic to our pain", always calls on evening following a procedure to ask about comfort, effectiveness, etc.

I really feel that they are in the market to sell to ALL their patients, dentures and or partials. That seem to be the product they are so passionate about. Even if it is not what they really need. And for them to pull me from my chair, to get paid first, I am surprised that they are still in business.

I have had many years with dentist offices, had orthodontic, periodontic , crowns, root canals as well as general dentistry over my 70+ years so I know what is good and what is not.

His dental hygienist poked me with her explorer twice and made the gum hurt and bleed.  Then she advised the dentist that I have bad gums.  They bleed. Pfft!  Yes, she MADE them bleed.  They did x-rays of EACH tooth.  I was very reluctant to the over-usage of x-rays but they insisted.  I should have been more insistent and said no to that procedure.  Then the filling that the dentist put in was way lower than the level of the tooth should have been.   I had to ask that more material be added so it would do a good job of crushing and mashing the food I would eat.  It still is too low and the material is so thin at the tooth edge that it has broken and leaks.  The only thing really good I can comment on is the front office.  They are great.  Will I go back?  NO.  Looking for another dentist.

I think he is a very good dentist. I've gone to him for the last 14 or 15 years and I'm very pleased. I'm very impressed with the personnel that he has there. They're very very friendly. I'm impressed with the way he goes about his business.

I have a phobia of dentists, and when I moved to Tucson I asked people to recommend a dentist for cowards. Dr. Wortzel is a great dentist for everyone, and makes me feel comfortable. He's painless! I keep going back and recommend him highly.

My dentist is okay. I have a dental insurance program through AARP. I really like him because he does not try to sell me products or get me to whiten my teeth or anything like that. He is wonderful and brings his dog to work. You've got to like that. I have gone to him for many years.

Dr Wilson's office is great! He and his staff are always friendly, professional, and prompt. Dr Wilson is very personable and willing to answer questions and discuss any concerns. He is gentle and quick, and even our kids have liked seeing him since they were young!
