    Outdoor Xscapes Inc
Excellent! Steve was very professional; he listened to what I wanted, and when he came back with the design, he nailed it!!! It was so beautiful. We then had to wait to get the money, and he was very patient with us. He never rushed us or lost interest because we were taking to long. After six months we needed to tweak the design a little to cut a few costs, but I have to say there was nothing lost in the design except the cost; we finally agreed to the work on a Friday and they started that following Monday. The team of workers were professional, cleanly, and FAST! They took my yard from dirt to retreat in 8 working days!!! They were amazing, and everyone who sees our yard is extremely impressed! I would highly recommend Outdoor Escapes for beautiful design and professional installation. After the job was completed, we had a small punch list of items to take care of, and Steve and his crew were on it right away! Also, I want to mention, I had several other companies look at the design and either wanted to cut corners, change the design to a lesser quality, or never got back to me at all. I wanted a model home back yard, and that is what I got! It was a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! I wouldn't change a thing!!! I'm sure they can work within any price point, I just want what I want!

    J&E Construction and Remodeling
AMAZING! I was left speechless. they enclosed my carport and knocked down my old kitchen and made my kitchen there with all new custom cabinetry with new tile and back splash also a giant new window and light fixtures! They made a laundry area and dining room where my old kitchen was and the best part is its open concept all through to my living room! they also did new paint and stucco all around the outside of my house.

This is the second review we write for the Outdoor Xscapes guys. We used Outdoor Xscapes a couple years ago for our first initial project (some basic landscaping with pavers, travertine, lawn, etc), and we contacted them for a second round a few weeks ago, this time to build a bbq, fireplace, and a couple walls. Steve has been our designer for both projects and we could not be happier. The whole process went really smooth, the guys did a great job (the crew was really nice and super clean, and made sure that when they were done they wash the backyard area where they were working at), and completed he project to our desire. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Outdoor Xscapes to anyone looking for a great landscaper. Thank you guys!!

Dany Romero Painting & More llc
It went very well! Dany responded same day I reached out. He was 1 of 3 painters we had bid our project. We really liked his responsiveness after we inquired abut his services. He scheduled to come out next day (only 2 of the painters actually did that). We were on a tighter budget than we would like so that was a focus while we were reviewing the bids that came in. But, we did not mention that initially and just let these painters bid based on their walkthru. Dany came in a lot lower than most others. I wasn't really worried about the quality of his final product because of all the great reviews. What we REALLY liked was how he offered a special deal to paint the OUTSIDE and kitchen/bathroom cabinets while they were there painting inside. We did not think of that at all but he gave us a deal we COULDN'T RESIST! We felt he was sincere and we felt he could definitely do a quality job we were expecting. He had some other jobs coming up but he still fit us in to start cranking out the paint prep/drywall work and even initial painting ASAP. They did an unbelievable amount of work just in the first day or two of the job. We were really impressed. They finished in a couple days and had us come back for a walkthru. Dany is flexible and open to anything you'd like to do as part of the process. I'm glad they had us walk it somewhat before completion because then we were able to catch small details/touchups that often get missed no matter who does your paint job (it happens). The real difference there was how he and his team responded. They said it was NO PROBLEM for them to keep at it until all the final details/touch ups were taken care of. All in all, they finished up, we came back for final walkthru and we were VERY happy with final result. They did great drywall repair work. And, their texturing was very spot on as well. We will be hiring them again for multiple other future projects. Thanks to Dany and his team!

    Charles and Alex Painting
My experience with Jim the owner of this family business was great! Jim and his team were professional, courteous and did amazing work. I could not believe all the prep work and attention to every detail you could want and some you didn't know you wanted! Their price was fair and did not change from our 1st meeting to completion. I will be using Charles and Alex Painting for the inside of my house in the near future. Their meticulous work and the cleanliness they left my home in was fabulous. I recommend them to the most picky of homeowners. They don't dissapoint!!!

    James Horn
James was very personable and professional. Everything was done in a timely fashion and as promised. He only uses Dunn Edwards paint and uses it full strength, no watering it down. He helped with some paint suggestions, and brought out a folder of Dunn Edwards swatches for me pick from. After several days of mulling over the paint chips I picked out a few possibilities, which he painted on the house for me to live with for a few days, before making a final decision. He was very patient needing me to be happy with the color and results. James visited the project every day to make sure things were going smoothly and we were kept abreast of the project. Everything that needed masking was masked, and they cleaned up afterward. Several doors that I had thought needed to be replaced, but hadn't at the time, looked great after being painted. Now I'm glad that I hadn't replaced them, saved some money. I'm extremely happy with the job and happy to recommend James.

    LaFortune Stucco
Overall, my experience was good. It was a reasonable price. I thought the estimate was good. It would've worked out just fine if we would've gone with that door. We decided not to go with the door, so we didn't need the stucco work.

    East Valley Disaster Services
The emergency service was decent; while they were unable to secure and shore up the missing wall right away, it was quite alright as it was not completely open to where someone could walk/squeeze through. I am confident that if it were a true "need it now" emergency, they would have been there. The guys doing the emergency restore were mostly efficient. While the emergency paneling was far from pretty (not their fault, it's just lumber!), it did what it needed to do! The repair portion of the job dragged on and could have been better. It took bloody ages. When your home is damaged by an errant driver, your garage is caved in and inaccessible, and you're now the eye sore of the neighborhood, you want things to move quickly. These guys were more concerned with getting insurance to sign off on their sky-high quote (more on that later) than getting anything started. Even once that was done, getting resources aligned (there were members of several different crews needed for this repair) was an apparent challenge; there were days in between visits where there was no activity at all while they waited for so-and-so to have some free time. Nearly all of the workmen that came out - when they were finally scheduled to come out - were very good, provided great quality, attitude, respect for the property, etc. The PM assigned to me was quite lackluster - miscommunications left and right, if you could reach him at all. Leaving a voicemail was usually the best you could do, and "oh, he has the day off" or "has already left for the day" well before what I would consider quitting time if you called the office. He was more concerned with getting the signoff done than making sure the work was satisfactory. I WAS NEVER EVEN ASKED if the job was completed to my satisfaction; I was instead emailed a form to sign acknowledging that the work was done. Additionally, some of the work was shoddy... I ended up replacing/repairing a few things on my own after the job was "done." Some trim pieces, caulking, painting... One of the trim pieces (16' long rubber seal along garage door) was done very poorly and cheaply; as soon as the summer heat started, it warped like crazy. They came back out and "repaired" it, but it looked absolutely awful. They used cheap plastic molding instead of wood molding. The worst part was that they overcharged - by a LOT. Their estimator went crazy with his measurements - his job is literally to come out and write up every single thing they could possibly charge for (understandably) - think worst-case scenario. Their original quote somewhat made sense at the time, but as the work progressed, there were several items that were never required/performed. Guess what... They still billed me for these. For example, there was a spot on the inside wall that cracked from the impact, and it needed some minor repair and paint - like a 2'x2' section. They wanted to repaint every single connecting wall that had the same paint color, so it worked out to nearly half the inside of the house!! I told them to forget it, I'd just touch it up with leftover paint that I already have - that was ridiculous (though I somewhat appreciate the OPTION, it was totally unnecessary given the location of the cracks). They still billed me! They also overbilled me for painting - areas that were never painted on the outside of the house. Several other labor items that were not performed (no need) were billed. Other examples: charging for 200 sqft of stucco work when about 20 sqft was actually done; charging for 9x the amount of drywall replacement than was actually performed; double-charging for exterior paint areas; and more. It took several phone calls to get them to revise the billing to a correct amount, but they gladly would have accepted payment for services never completed. If I were someone who didn't review bills before paying them, these guys would have made out like bandits. While there were a number of high quality workers involved, and most of the office staff I spoke with were very professional and helpful, I would be unlikely to use these guys again. The semi-slow progress and ongoing schedule shifting, poor communications/responsiveness from the PM, and the significant overbilling left quite the sour taste in my mouth. You know, like it was a cash grab and homeowner's convenience be damned. Images: Ceiling (fortunately, it was just in the garage) where they repaired a drywall crack - there were two that looked this bad (shoddy work); molding on the garage door when it started separating - it would not just push back in place, and the gap grew and grew; part of the new column that was built (all brand new) where it pulled apart on both sides, footing to ceiling.
