  • Wells Fargo in Richfield, Minnesota.  We used their services about two, three months ago.  We spent nothing for it because we belong to the Wells Fargo Bank.  The experience was okay.  We found out after we had gone to the Kinkos to make some copies that she had inadvertently not signed one or two of the forms so we had to go back ago.  Again there was not charge because we are bank holders.  It was okay, no problems.  Not a big deal.  They are very efficient, very quick to help you.  +

  • I had an account with them for several years. In November I decided to donate this account. On 11/30 made a call to my "Financial Advisor" who was not available - and i left a voice mail. I followed up with the 800 number, and learned that I could not initiate my transaction without talking to MY ADVISOR. The 800 number folks sent a message toMY FINANCIAL ADVISOR's assistant. on 12/3 I made a second call - and agin left a voice mail message. I again followed up with the 800 number, who left ANOTHER message for teh assistant. On 12/6 I physically went to the bank to try to get this going - guess what? He wasn't there. I spoke with the branch manager who sent a detailed e-mail to the FINANCIAL ADVISOR.  He FINALLY called on 12/10.  He indicated he would need to get advice about how to process the transaction, and I signed papers the next day to do so based on what he told me.  A week later (12/18) he called again, and said it had been done incorrectly and would have to be redone, but he thought it would get done by the end of tthe year.  I said it needed to happen, and reminded him that my original request was on 11/30, and it was due to HIS delays in returning my call, and THEIR processing the transaction incorrectly that we were now in a delay status.  On 12//24 the transaction still had not been processed, and I called the 800 service line again, since my FINANCIAL ADVISOR was not in his office.  They told me the transaction would run that night, which it finally did.  During the time that my FINANCIAL ADVISOR was not calling me back, the funds retained their value.  Once the transaction finally got going, the funds decreased in value nearly $1200!  Had the tranaction been processed in a timely manner, I would have received more money.  It's almost like it was a deliberate attempt to minimize my account value.  While the people at the bank are sympathtic, and agree that the bank has some poor business practices, which contributed to my financial loss,  frustration, and an inordinate amount of time to complete what should have been a simple transaction, there are no means to reimburse me for their failure to perform.
