    911 Air Repair LLC
My AC broke down so I called 911 Air Repair. Ray gave me my options and I decided on the best long term solution. Everything went as smooth as one can ask for. The guys showed up on the time we agreed upon and were finished and cleaned up sooner than I expected. Best service I've received in a long time!

    911 Air Repair LLC
Great price with 16R upgrade and showed up at 7am and cleaned up and gone buy 3pm. Another AC technician came and inspected everything before installers left. 911 air sent out a handyman to touch up the paint around the attic hatch even though I thought that it was ok without the touch up they insisted, best AC company I have ever used

    Airsurance LLC
Let me tell you. I have been having YEARS of struggle with past companies that screw me over with terrible prices, awful products, and disgusting customer service. But Airsurance has completely shifted my perspective on this line of work and I finally have a good system in my home that hasnt broken down on me and everything was installed cleanly and wonderfully. Not to mention the OUSTANDING customer service that the employees gave. I felt safe and happy when they entered my home. The pricing and the membership plan is amazing, Ive never seen anything else like it before. I am definitely gonna be sticking to this company for a long time.

    ACE Home Services LLC
I have a contract. I pay for that when I have something fixed. I did find someone that was cheaper but that was after the fact. They came out right away. He was a little late maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I may shop around for a lower price. I would recommend them but I would shop around.

    Environmental Taming Air Conditioning
Everything was fine, until two parts were removed, and I was told they needed to be replaced at an additional cost of over $300. When invoiced, I found that the additional 15 minutes of labor to replace the parts cost $200. Complete ripoff and exploitation of a consumer. Would NEVER use this service again.

    Environmental Taming Air Conditioning
After his arrival, the technician entered my home without knocking or without prior notification that he would do so, or insuring that my wife and I were fine with that. He did this multiple times. He did not clean the coils. He used the check up visit to hunt for problems. He found two of them, and the cost to do the work was higher than average. Overall, I was disappointed with the whole experience.

    Choice Home Warranty
The people at Choice were polite and extremely helpful. They responded with my first phone call and set up the service people. The Service people phoned and set up an appointment within an hour of my phone call to Choice and were out the very next morning. They also phoned and let us know they were on their way and what time they should arrive. He was polite and extremely helpful and informative. I would recommend Choice in a second to anyone.

    Magic Touch Mechanical
The issue; Charging $275.00 for the supplying and installing a $30.00 item that took less than 30 minutes to install.
The installation went well, the technician was knowledgeable and immediately identified the problem as a failed capacitor within 10 minutes. I was told this is the most common failure for these air conditioning units and that he quite often replaces at least 1 per day.
Being unfamiliar with air conditioning (I live in Alaska) I was not aware of the possible problems for air conditioning units so when I was told the cost for replacing the capacitor was $275.00 I agreed to have the work done. I asked for the defective capacitor and looked up the part number while the technician installed the new one. I soon discovered the price of the capacitor was no more than $30.00. Which means I just paid $245.00 for the technician to install it. I was told that the warrantee for this item is 90 days. I have since contacted other HVAC companies who warrantee the product for 1 year because the manufacturer of the product warantees it for a year.
Keep in mind MagicTouch charges $75 for the diagnosis of the problem. Now they did wave the diagnosis fee of $75 after I complained, which was commendable on their part and I fully understand charging a diagnostic fee and have no problem paying that. But then they added a $75 Tune up fee. So basically I they just substituted one fee for another
But to charge $245 for the installation of a $30 item that took no more than 10 minutes to install seems quite excessive. When speaking to a MagicTouch rep I was told that what they charge is in line with other HVAC companies.
Somehow the fact that they all charge outrageous fees (collusion?) seem to justify the $275.00 in this person's mind.
I believe in doing what is fair, paying a fair price for services rendered, but $245 for the installation of a $30 item does not meet those standards.

    Sterling Services
I wish that I could recall exactly what services were performed. Unfortunately I cannot due to the fact that I was on a business trip out of country and could not spend a lot of time focusing on that AC problem that my renters were experiencing. All I do know is that my renters said that the AC was acting unreliably and I knew I had to get someone out there to get it fixed for me. Sterling Services was offering an air conditioning inspection/tune up at that time. Perfect. I called, they answered. After everything was performed the AC unit was working well and, most importantly, my renters felt taken care of by me because I felt taken care of by Sterling Services. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others in the area.

    Pro Solutions Air
It appears to this customer that a 'fair' charge would have been the original $29.99 & perhaps adding the fair cost of the replacement part;even doubling the tune up price would appear to be alright. Customer believes he was charged unfairly as compared with previous A/C tune- up charges,
