  • Ron showed up initially for my estimate. He was not pushy in the least bit, got straight to the point, was courteous the entire time and had my estimate ready quickly after the visit. When the team showed up to work they were on time, performed the work quickly and thoroughly and now that I've done my first cleaning since it was completed, I can testify that the hard water was no match for their sealant. Cleaning is finally quick and easy. They also gave me pointers on places I needed to caulk my counters for added protection. I will not hesitate to call them again for more work in the future!

  • The co-owner Mike met with us and provide great information and assistance. The measurement process at one home tech a couple house and five days later the installation went like clockwork. We are replaced with the entire process and the result.

  • We hired Custom Home Solutions to gut and completely remodel our master bathroom, put in new flooring and paint the master bedroom, install a door in between the bedroom and bathroom (not just an opening!), eliminate a claustrophobic water closet, and to upgrade the other 2 bathrooms as well, plus some other cosmetic things around the house.
Unlike several other contractors we talked to,  Mike expected to and did obtain a local work permit, and had the job inspected ? important issues to us.  His pricing for the project was fair.
Mike always listened to us, ensuring that results were exactly as we'd anticipated.  He quickly resolved the few problems that came up during the course of the job.  When the fabricator went to pick up the granite we?d put on hold at the large tile and granite company at the southwest corner of  Orange Grove and Thornydale/River Rd, he discovered that the company had sold it to someone else!  Mike  went above and beyond duty for his wildly unhappy client, and accompanied me to different yards to locate another piece of granite!
My husband and I lived in the house during the entire process. Mike did everything he could to ensure our comfort, including putting a zippered plastic door between the hallway leading to the bedroom and the rest of the house, which cut down on the amount of circulating dust - and kept our cats safely out of the work zone.  The guest bathroom was left pretty much intact until after the master bath was finished, so we always had a bathroom to use.  Mike and his main helper Carlos, as well as all the sub-contractors he used were all top-notch professionals, pleasant and comfortable to have in the house with us.  Work areas were always cleaned up beautifully before people left for the day.
I?m a bit of a control freak, and Mike seemed perfectly at ease consulting with me every step of the way, which I greatly
appreciated.  Emails were always responded to quickly, and I could reach him by phone if necessary.  He always sent me an email  the evening before, to let us know at what time workers would arrive in the morning.
The work was done to our complete satisfaction and in a timely manner.  The results are beautiful - even beyond our hopes and expectations!   And - because structural issues came up that prevented moving the toilet to a new location in the master bath, the project actually came in under budget!
I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his company and the job they did for us; I highly recommend Custom Home Solutions without hesitation to anyone planning to remodel.  Should we ever decide to do more work on the house, this will be the company we?ll contact.

  • Michael coordinated the ornamental iron base with the new granite table. Both the table and base turned out to what we exactly wanted. Michael and his crews due great work. They furnished and installed granite counter tops for our kitchen and bathrooms in another house several years ago. That past experience was the reason we went with Granite Kitchen and Bath for the table. We will use them again in the future for an outdoor kitchen.

  • I went to Granite Plus's showroom and selected the specific granite slap for my laundry room. They walked us through all the details, as far detail edge selection. Nollan (Owner) came out to take the measurements and take the template of the sink to fabricate the grantie.
All work was done on the time schedule provided to us at the time of purchase. The installers who came out were very polite, made sure I was satisfied with the work, as well as taking all debris with them. Installing the granite countertop included the install of the undermount sink, which the hole was perfectly fabricated. The seams are maticulous and I would not hesitate to recommend Granite Plus (Nollan) to others. They may not be the least expensive, but the workmanship and professionalism is imparitive to have granite appropriately measured, fabricated and installed! You will not go wrong with Granite Plus.

  • My large back yard was a mess. A jungle at times and something out of the "Grapes of Wrath" at others. Gabe and his crew came out last year and cleaned up everything including removing a tree. Then he came out this year and designed a low maintenance landscape that had a fire pit and path to it. The guys showed up on time and got the job done very quickly. I was very impressed with the efficiency and quality. Gabe was honest with me and recommended changes to the original plan that he felt would be beneficial in the long run. Even when I notice the flagstone were a little wobbly in the granite, Gabe had his guys came out the very next day to fix it. Problem solved.  Instead of dreading the sight of looking in to my back yard, I spend every evening I can sitting in it now. Its beautiful. Gabe and La Cholla were excellent and professional and I won't go anywhere else for future additions.

  • This company is head and shoulders above the rest here in Tucson.  I contacted Jeff Spiri after calling, going to, and being ignored by at least  eight (8) other granite companies here in town.  I should have called Jeff first and not waste my time with the others.  I think I was most impressed with my initial contact with Jeff and his willingness to make me and my project important to him.  I realize a $900 project for a BBQ island in the grand scheme of projects isn't very big and is perhaps why other companies ignored me.  But what clearly told me that Jeff knows his granite and design is that he was the ONLY person out of all these companies to ask me if my island would be in the sun.  Reason being, that any lamination of granite exposed to sun will break down over time in UV radiation from the sun.  This obviously would have created problems when pieces came loose or fell apart.  When I met with Jeff, he showed me a huge selection of remnant pieces he has on site at his place.  He had the best remnant selection that I saw in town.  He quoted me a total price much less than anyone else did too.   When he came to do the measuring of my project he took great care to make sure it would work as I had building imperfections to overcome.  He went out of his way to explain to me what he was doing.  His level of communication before and after the install was great.  On installation day, his two employees should up on time, were professional and didn't mind an audience as they worked.  His employees took great care and effort in the leveling of my island again to overcome MY building imperfections.  After they were done, it was difficult to tell they had even been there.  I could go on and on about Jeff Spiri, his great employees and the work they do.  I look forward to calling him again for my upcoming bathroom remodel project and referring him to anyone in the market for granite.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • I was in the market to do a BBQ island granite top. Not a huge job I know, but important to me nonetheless. I went and
looked at remnants here and found several that would work for my project that I liked. They did have a decent selection of pieces of various sizes and colors. The owner was not there though. I was shown around by her daughter and one of the shop employees. They showed me several pieces that would have worked for my project. So I emailed the owner Laurie hours after my visit and told her that I wanted to enter into a business relationship with her company. It took more than a day to respond back to the email. I feel as though I showed I was serious about doing business and spending my money with them. When she did call me, I was ready to schedule templating and commit to do business with her on the spot and to keep my project moving based on my overall timeline for completion. However during this call she was unable to schedule and said she would call me back the next morning to lock in a date/time. I then waited over two full days and did not hear anything from Laurie by phone (at either of the two numbers I gave her) or email. Not a peep except the proverbial crickets chirping. To me it is very frustrating to want to do business with a company and then not hear from them as they promise. I think it speaks to what kind of treatment may come had a contract been signed. To me it also speaks poorly to several core values as well-courtesy, credibility, respect, honesty, responsibility and judgment. Additionally, this company was referred to me by a good friend so this demonstrated lack of core values unfortunately reflects negatively upon my friend who spoke highly of this company. Furthermore, I was not questioned by these people thoroughly enough about my project. Because if they had done so, they would have realized my project was in the sun and laminating granite does not hold up in the Arizona sun as the UV rays will destroy the laminate glue and could cause problems over time. So my experience and review is limited as I can not speak to the actual quality of the work itself per se, but I refuse to have to pull the proverbial teeth with a company to do business with them and be ignored and treated poorly such as this company has done to me by delaying my project waiting for a response as promised. I emailed the owner after switching to a responsive and more professional company to terminate the business proceeding with her company. This was done because of her inability to professionally and properly communicate as she said she would. My email was polite, but to the point. She did respond to it, but did so in a way that her inability to communicate with me as she had promised was somehow my shortcoming in the buying process. I found this to be offensive as a few of her explanations held no merit in regards to schedule someone to "come to (my) area" because she failed to ever ask for my address. But something I pointed out to her in my last reply after she told me that "(I) would have loved their work," I pointed out to her that to "love" their work means requires proper treatment throughout the entire buying process and not just what the end result looks like.
