ARosey ConstructionThey did an excellent job, with superb craftsmanship, & we were extremely satisfied with the finished covered patio. The contractor gave us a bid & complied with the agreed price completely. They were on the job on time, & many times came early & stayed later to complete a specific stage in the construction. If there were any changes during the construction, he would come over to our home & discuss them with us in advance. The contractor & his workers were very pleasant & easy to work with, & a joy to have around our home. We would not hesitate to hire him for any future project.- Donald H.

AAutumn Blaze Construction LLCAutumn Blaze just finished our "long" driveway make-over. We had ugly concrete and they removed the concrete on the top and bottom but left it in the center area and laid the pavers over the old concrete. Awesome job!!! We were MOST impressed with the crew. They were absolute artists and such hard workers. The owners Dane and Mary were very attentive and not only did everything they said they would but more. AAutumn Blaze Construction LLCI had a very hard time trying to find someone who did driveways. I had a concrete driveway and I wanted pavers. I had gone to a home show and I got a book from them. They had names in there. This person also had a website. I was very impressed with that. I had three estimates on doing my driveway the way I wanted it. The first one I did not care for. The second one was a very nice young man but the third man came up with what we liked best. I was very pleased with the second one but he did not quite come out with the same idea that I had explained. It was not that we disliked the second one but the third one had more of what we needed. He is bonded and licensed. I checked up on that. So far, the overall experience was excellent.- Mary L.

He also gave me a referral to a stone company to look at the color and style of the pavers. I had an issue with the layout of a sidewalk and the owner offered to tear it out and redo it without any hassle. I had an issue with the workers wanting to use my bathroom and the owner dealt with it immediately and was very apologetic.- Teri T.

AAutumn Blaze Construction LLCThe contractor Dane Prator suggested incresing the size of the courtyard. We accepted this and it was really what we wanted. The workmen were very professional, showed up on time , and did excellent work. The sidewalk and driveway were ripped out and hauled off in one day. The workers were pleasant and would make minor changes. They were exceptional. We have never seen such a large project go as smoothly. The work was continuous from start to finish.. The only don't I have is -don't hesitate to use Autumn Blaze! We are more than satisfied with every aspect of their work.- ROBERT G.

CI contracted with this company to repair my swimming pool and the foundation of my home 11/30/18. At this point, I have to give the company a C- (at best) for their performance. I could probably write several pages about the experience, but I will try to confine myself to the main points. On the plus side, they did perform the work I contracted for (cost $34,000), with one exception. The contract calls for a follow-up floor survey which was completed 11/24/20. To date (01/20/21), I am still waiting for the survey report. The expression, “take the money and run” comes to mind. This review will cover some of the things to consider when contracting with this company. The process will begin with the floor survey and repair report (cost $400). The sales agent will review the report with you and recommend a contract for the repairs. Mistake one. They offer a 5% discount if you sign the contract immediately. However, given it takes at least an hour to review the repair report, it would take another hour to review the massive number of “outs” written in the contract. Skip the discount so you know what you are getting into. For example, the foundation repair involved moving the flagstone on my patio. I had to pay another company to re-install the flagstone; not included in the contract. Mistake two. Most foundation problems are due to drainage; water pooling by the home. The repair report identified drainage problems, but they were not discussed, and the needed “hardscaping” to correct the problem was not included in the contract. My advice is to correct any drainage problem, then consider whether you still need a foundation repair. Mistake three. The repair plan allows the company to “adjust” the repair plan based on “site conditions”. They had to move the placement of the repair (poles driven into the ground, called push piers) because I have an air conditioner located where they planned to place the pier. Walk around the outside of your home and verify WHERE the piers will be placed, before signing the contract. Once you sign the contract, it is next to impossible (at least in my case) to get anyone to further discuss the repair plan. Mistake three. The pool repair was not performed by this company; it was subcontracted to another company, with no warranty. Better to simply find a pool repair company. The subcontractor would refer me back to AFS if I had a question about the pool repair, and good luck getting an answer from AFS. Mistake four. There ARE other companies that perform this work.

FNever showed up to make a proposal. The project mgr. made an appointment and then his office called and changed the appointment and he never showed up. No one called us to cancel or change the time and we waited half a day. When we called him his excuse was they tried to call but that was clearly untrue.

ACan't say enough about Grant and New Life Landscapes. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. When we first had Grant over for an estimate, he was attentive, provided some design ideas, and even offered suggestions on how to save some money. Not many companies would offer that. They came in much less than other bids I received, but their work did not reflect it. They were booked, so our project started about a month after our initial meeting, but they started on the date they said they would and completed on time. The crew assigned to our project were professional, friendly, and hard working. Grant even met with us to help pick out our plants/shrubs for our yard and provided info on which plants grow best and how they ultimately would look. Fantastic owner and company that went above and beyond. I've recommended them to all my neighbors and will definitely use them should I ever require landscaping in the future.
