Drywall reviews in Iron Springs

    Ryan Drywall
I had a few small heaters installed in two bathrooms.  These heaters were smaller than the original heaters and the wall had to be patched.  It was a 6 x 10 inch patch and the heating and AC company that installed the units wanted to charge me $300.  I'm a real estate broker and just rehabbed a house in Prescott and know the fair cost to do these jobs. This company was Fair, Professional, responsive and neat while getting the job done quickly.  I will use them again and will highly recommend them to others.

    B & M Painting Inc
Jason with B & M Painting was excellent in reviewing what needed to be accomplished after flood damage to a portion of the house.  The crew that worked on the house was timely, personable and professional.  The end result more than met my expectations, including the repainting of a faux part of the walls.  No question that I would use B&M Painting in the future.

Always insure that you approve a specific task before it is done.

Obtain a firm quote prior to the task being initiated.

Supervise the work to make sure it was done according to the plan.

The company Supervisor never visited the work site after work started and never reviewed the work after it was completed. Yet he is arguing with me about  work I said was not done and was billed for.

The company also has a clause in its contract

that holds the you responsible for work the contractor does that is not paid for by an insurance company in an insurance claim. I am sure more customer friendly companies available to assist in your reconstruction.

    Chartier Dry Wall LLC
I called Chartier and they happened to be in the neighborhood and said they'd stop by to look at the hole. They came by in 1/2 hour to check it out and said they could fix it the next day. Came by on time the next day, fixed the hole, textured it, and put primer on it. Although they were going to come by the next day to paint it, my husband said he could handle that. It was a somewhat small job but they were very professional, quick and cleaned up after they were done. Great company and I would highly recommend them. I will definitely call them again if needed.

    Ryan Drywall
Received an estimate August 2012. Response was good, professional, and timely. No complaints here. Put off doing to work until May 2013 so I called and asked if they would honor August 2012 contract. They would honor it but needed to come out again to look at job. I tried to set up a time but was told they had many jobs to do and would call me back the following week. No one ever called back. Received an estimate from a highly recommended competitor and the same job came out to be $750 less than Ryan.

    JDS Improvements
Had a 60 inch TV and a 42 inch niche.  Called JDS.  Talked to John who sent out David who did an excellent job in a very tricky situation.  Had to make sure there were no load bearing studs involved before proceeding.  David arrived when scheduled, was very meticulous in examining the situation and proceeded in a cautious and methodical manner.  He did everything possible to keep the job as clean and free of gyprock dust as possible.  The result is a large enough niche to accept the 60 inch TV and associated electronics.  Since this was my first experience with JDS as well as my first real experience with a contractor (usually I do this stuff myself) I was somewhat apprehinsive at first, but the end result is great and the price was fair.  I would certainly use JDS again.
