Bring funeral home received my Mother and prepared her body for burial in Minnesota. They worked with the Funeral Home in Minnesota to have my Mom's body shipped back home. We also purchased the casket from Bring's. They were warm, professional and very easy to work with.

    ADAIR AVALON FUNERAL HOMES
I liked that they were cordial, responsive and the price was right. It was just a very decent experience for that event.

    ADAIR AVALON FUNERAL HOMES
They were very pleasant, helpful and made suggestions. They were not pushy about stuff and worked well in communicating; mostly through email.

    HUDGELS SWAN FUNERAL HOME INC
Have never been through this before. They made the process fairly simple and were easily reached for answers to questions, etc. Spoke to Brian Hudgel personally each time I called. Never had to leave a voice mail. Overall I think it went very well other than for a minor detail or two (programs weren't printed out cleanly, had to be run twice as name was misspelled.)

    Green Valley Mortuary
They were excellent. The person we worked with was very professional and just very easy to get along at a time like that when people normally are very upset. He explained things to my mother and to my sister and I, so we understood what was going on. As we took my father back to Nebraska to bury him and we had him cremated, he explained to my mother so she would understand that there are certain urns you can use on an airplane because they need to be able to look through the urn to make sure you are not smuggling something that shouldn't be in there. He explained things so my mom was able to fly back with my father without any problems. They were reasonably priced.

I have used them several years ago. They are working with people who are bereaved or about to be. They handle everything very professionally. I thought they were very reasonable.

    Vining Funeral Home
The service given to my family was exceptional.  They were very professional and compassionate.  Listened to our ideas and answered all of out questions. They did not push us for a more expensive service and casket.  They arranged contacting the Veteran's Department and set up the Honor Guard at the grave site.  We also went over the brochure for the service and emailed copy to us for any changes. The transportation from Tucson to Safford was included in the charge, which included he grave site burial at no extra cost. They arranged for us to pay when we received the Life Insurance policy. At the end of the service we were given CD showing pictures of our brother and told us we would receive a recording of the service. On the way out we were also given  Thank You notes to send out.  We felt very relieved and thankful that all of this ran very smoothly.    We have dealt with several Funeral Homes and have come away feeling that they did not care about our sorrow and they did not answer all of of our questions and in fact rushed us through the whole process.  WE came away dissatisfied with the whole process. I would definitely  recommend the  Vining Funeral Home in Safford, Arizona for those who are being transferred from Tucson to their hometown.

Under the circumstances, it was not a good circumstance, but they made you feel comfortable. They explained all the charges. They were very professional. They made us feel at ease. They gave different options, and there was no pressure.

    DESERT ROSE CREMATORY
I posted this review on Google, as well as sent it to management ... I contracted with the very nice people at East Lawn Palms Mortuary to take care of cremating my mother's remains. I was unaware that I would have to deal with Desert Rose. The first problem arose when someone named Amanda called to check on the disposition of my mother's body, since the hospital had not yet notified them of her passing. She kept calling my mother "Mom" which was offensive to me, and I told her so. Karen then sent me a message from Desert Rose, explaining that my sister and I had to come in and fill out paperwork, which I thought I had done with Jeff. Karen was wrong - my sister was not required to be there. The building is run down and crummy, and I'm surprised that they have clients come there. Karen made numerous mistakes in the paperwork, which I corrected more than once, and tried to up-sell me on a bunch of junk I did not want. When I questioned what "nightgown" arrived from the hospital with my mother, she told me it was a hospital gown. I asked her what had happened to the caftan that was supposed to be with my mother (and which she was to be cremated in), Karen said she thought that it must be the "nightgown" that was on the paperwork. I had to force her to go call someone and make certain. She wanted to hug me when I left, which I did not want, but I allowed so that I could get out of there. The next call was to inform me that there was some problem with their crematorium, and that there would be up to a week's delay for my mother's remains to be cremated. The final straw was when I went to pick up the death certificates, which Karen had a hard time finding because she "has trouble with the alphabet." She then handed me death certificates for someone other than my mother, annoying me and violating the privacy of that woman's family. I left there wondering if my mother's remains would be in the containers I provided. That is when I finally complained to Jeff, who reminded me of their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, which turned out to be a joke. I spoke with Jeff more than once, and his supervisor, Patrick, and expressed my dissatisfaction with Desert Rose to both of them. When I did not hear back from anyone after several days, I called Jeff and was told that Amanda was to have called back with a resolution; she had not. They finally did refund about 10% of my payment - a far cry from 100%.
