    Arrowhead Deck and Concrete LLC
I got service ~18 months ago. Mostly I wanted to get fixed a section of concrete around hte pool where the canilever edge going over the pool had broken off. I figured I would get the deck ~$7000 to get the back patio and pool deck finished. After about 12 months though, the repair on the cantilever edge has cracked again and is falling off. Further, there are cracks in the deck in several spots - most notably, there is a large section that was affected by a bubble in the coating that cracked in many places once someone stepped on it. I called to see what could be done but was told basically that the repair was essentially a crap shoot and that they could try to fix it again but it would be ~$450 and there would be no real way to ensure it doesnt break again. They suggested the only real way would be to break out that portion of the slab and do a bunch of concrete work that was possibly more than they are usually contracted for, because they were mostly a coatings company. Which, incidentally, was not the impression I had by their company title which led me to believe this was precisely the type of job they could handle. Further, they blamed it on my pool "settling" or something similar. The pool has been in place for 20 years so I am not sure that is a reasonable excuse. I also had an unreported issue where I couldnt install the aerator back in once they were done with their work. I dont use the aerator really so I didnt worry about it. All in all, I understand their perspective but i dont think it was adequately explained up front and I dont feel the reaction was reasonable. I could have nitpicked the job and pointed out little issues here and there but I didnt. This is not a little issue.

We hired Jeff Hunter from Rictor Contracting and got the best contractor we ever hired. He was on top of everything. Everything happened right when he said it would and he was very protective of our house. He stoped by everyday to make sure things were going right. If he saw something he didn't like he fixed it immediately. He is good understanding just what you want and is upfront and most of all honest. I would recommend anyone that asked me about a contractor or about Rictor Contractor to use his company. Excellent service and my construction came out beyond my dreams. I now just need to decorate a bit.

    Flortek LLC
Paul and his son Tim were exceptional. I received a quote for the job the same day that I called for an estimate. They were both hard workers and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Flortek. I am thrilled with the job that they did.

    Flortek LLC
I contacted Paul at Floortek based on all the positive reviews. We set an appointment and Paul was on time. I had decided I wanted more work done after our initial phone call and he took all measurements needed. After that first visit, I decided I wanted to do a room addition on the back of the house also so Paul came out again to measure for a new pad for the room addition on top of all other requested work. Then life threw up an unexpected curveball and I was in the position of having to cancel everything. Paul was very accommodating and patient with all the changes I threw at him. I decided to put everything else on hold but would continue with the RV pad only. He gave me a new proposal for the RV pad and we agreed on doing the job. We had previously decided on a couple of colors and a stamp pattern. We choose a paver solider course on the borders and a flagstone pattern for the interior. I was able to get a couple things done that needed to be done prior to starting the pour and Paul was very helpful in working with me in those areas. The concrete was being poured at the end of a previously installed paver driveway. The paver driveway starts at the street and goes next to the house into the backyard for RV parking. There used to be trees at the end so we couldn't take the paver driveway all the way to the back fence. The trees are gone now and the pavers used are no longer made. So we filled in the 30' gap with colored, stamped concrete instead. I was a little concerned what the weight of a concrete truck would do to the pavers and 2 days before the pour, I asked Paul about having the concrete pumped into the pour site rather than having the concrete truck back up to it. On short notice, Paul made the arrangements and got the pump out there the day of the pour. Everything went well all the way to the end of the project. Paul and his crew are a pleasure to work with. They are very good and knowledgable about their craft. They take precautions to protect everything next to the pour as to not damage any adjoining structures. When they tell you they will be at your place on a certain date and time, they are on there on time. Paul was very flexible and patient with me during the entire process from start to finish. Their work is excellent and Paul already knows that he is coming back for additional jobs as soon as I am able to do it. If your looking for an excellent concrete contractor, give Flortek a try. You will not be sorry you did.

Rick responded to my first inquiry almost immediately and set up an appointment on Saturday 10/29/16 when I would be off work. Rick and his wife, Gabe, arrived on time, took measurements and said they would email a proposal. I received the proposal on 10/31/15. I was waiting for one more estimate. Once I received it, I emailed Rick that I would like to proceed with the work. He scheduled the work to be done on 11/14/16 & 11/15/16. On the first day, they formed everything out. I came home on the 15th to a beautiful, WIDE driveway! I was very patient and parked my car on the other driveway for several days. It is so nice to be able to drive into the "carport" without going through those awful rocks! Rick and Gabe are so pleasant and responsive --- a great team. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs concrete work done. I emailed them to thank them for a job well done.

    ARCH Construction
It went very well. I cannot stress enough how awesome Hein is to deal with. Here is an example, after we tore down part of the roof for the new addition, we had an unexpected rain storm. I went to call Hein to see if we could get a cover put over the hole in the roof. As I was dialing the phone, I noticed Hein was on the roof already! Hein is prompt, fair and quite the perfectionist. He listens to your concerns and addresses them immediately. I would not work with any other contractors.

    Legendary Construction & Remodeling, LLC
Lynn to the rescue! We had just been burned with our previous contractor when Lynn came to my door with a proposition that sounded too good to be true. We were very skeptical, but within hours, she had the contractor out, gave us a bid, and said that the work would be completed by the next week. We were worried with monsoon season, and the rain, that the project would be delayed, but not with Lynn at the helm! In fact, because our wall faced a major street with much pedestrian traffic, she was as concerned as we were about our family's and property's safety, that the crew had demolition and rebuild done in one day! Day two was clean up, and we were happy, satisfied customers. Lynn was involved throughought the entire process, checking the guys progress and work. Her east coast no nonsense approach was greatly appreciated. We just simply wanted the job done, and done right the first time. Nothing gets past her, and you will not be disappointed. As we were paying for this repair out of pocket, she ensured that only the materials necessary were purchased to keep the cost down. Any other contractor would have inflated the cost for extra block me! We had several other bids that were extravagant. We also used Legendary to complete some painting that needed to be finished. We are very happy customers, and will definitely use them again. We finally found an honest contractor! I only rated them a B on professionalism, because they do not have the fancy logo wrapped expensive work trucks etc....that some might expect with a quality company. Take it from me, I'll take a job well done over a smooth talking salesman with a fancy truck any day!

    Chem Crete LLC
We hired Chem Crete in August 2014 to remove and re-apply the concrete coating that had lasted 16 years on our patio. The work was done but they had to come back out twice to deal with the many drip marks and missed spots. After a year the coating began to de-laminate in 3 places. The owner came out and after much arguing agreed to honor the warranty and repair the spots but claimed it was from the concrete underneath decaying. This is not true. It appears they either did not prepare the surface correctly or they screwed up the sealing. Now there are 8 more spots that are de-laminating. This time he came out and said he would do nothing even though it is still under warranty. We have now filed a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
I have used many contractors for work on my house and I have never had one like Bob Comitz. His first reaction is to blame the customer and becomes defensive immediately. I would highly recommend that you not use this company.
