    Acra Construction LLC
Overall, it went very well.  I won't hesitate to use Acra again. They aren't the cheapest workers in the Tucson area, but the finished job was worth the extra money.  The jobs were not just done well, they were done right. I first contracted Acra in December of 2011 in a panic, because my carpentry crew started to put up the drywall in my new house, but clearly needed help.  Our house is a little remote, in the mountain foothills outside of Green Valley, but Carl from Acra sent an expert out to look at the situation the very next day.  Within two days, he ahd a crew working to fix the situation and finish drywalling the entire house.   I had some special requests, like I wanted rounded corners and rounded edges at the doors and windows, as well as a light texture on the finished walls.  None of this was any problem for the Acra experts.  They did a beautiful job and worked well with other contractors on the site at the same time. When the house was ready for floor tile at the end of December, I called Carl again.  He sent out a man right after the first of the year, who turned out to be a sort of tile perfectionist/artist.  This gentleman convinced me to let him tile my bathroom walls, as well as the floors and front porch.  I'm very glad I listened to him.  Everyone who sees the house comments on how perfect the tile is.  The concrete floor was not completely level at the start of the job, and the tile man worked with it until he had the base he needed to do his job right.  Even the other contractors working on the house were impressed with this tile worker.  The tile sealer he used keeps the grout looking like new.  Wow!

    Upright Builders
We wanted a garage addition to our cabin and to replace our water tank with a bigger version, have a cinder block wall constructed and some roof work on a bathroom extension. Scott Cray, a licensed contractor and owner of Upright Builders, was prompt, professional and courteous. He had the equipment, i.e. backhoe, cement mixer, etc required and he performed the work well and fast. We felt his estimate was good (lower than some in this area) and, more importantly the quality of the work was excellent. Scott is now our go-to person for any big or small construction or remodeling job. We highly recommend him.
