ALarry Haight's Residential Roofing CoThey did a very good job. The only reservation was the shingle color was off but that was not their fault it is just very hard to match due to wear of the other shingles.They did the job timely and they were very responsive I had a painting job scheduled and wanted the roof repaired before they could paint and they were very accommodating. ALCR Roofing IncMr. Little, the company owner, was the only roofer(out of 4-5 called)who answered immediately. He came to our house the same day of the call for a free estimate. He showed up on-time and explained different options. Once parts were in a few days later, he returned with two employees, who did an excellent job. They cleaned our chimney for us and cleaned up well after their work. My only complaint was that the cost was approximately $200 over the cost of the estimate, due to more extensive damage than originally thought. This was explained well by Mr. Little before we agreed to the additional cost.- JOHN M.

They were prompt with their arrival for the estimate and scheduled the work in a timely manner. AIdeal Roofing Company LLCThey came at the agreed time with two men and lots of roofing materials, including a roof edge material that was specific for solving our particular kind of problem. As they got into it they discovered that they had to do a great deal more to solve the problem than they had bid. They went ahead and did the right thing, fixed it right, and billed me at the original bid, even though they wound up doing considerably more work than they had estimated. To put it simply, they did it right, even though they wound up having to do a lot more than they had originally bid. In the intervening couple of months we have had several rains and some light snows; the leaks and gutter/fascia problems were solved completely. Very professional, very prompt, good cleanup. They do what needs to be done to do it right rather than do a shoddy job to meet their bid. I was happy, on my own initiative, to pay them a good deal more than there original bid. I would call them again anytime, and have already recommended them to several friends who have had hail damage to their roofs.- Chuck B.

AIdeal Roofing Company LLCI found this company on Angie's List. My first call was answered promptly. She took my information and said they would send someone out as soon as possible. I didn't need to make an appointment - they were able to do the work while I was at work! A couple of days later the work was done and they cleaned up after themselves. I had an invoice in my email and paid by check in the mail. Good work. Prompt, professional service. Will use them again.- Melinda F.

AGranite Basin Roofing IncPrompt on quote and willing to take time in person and over the phone to answer all questions. Coordinated with gutter company for removal of gutter helmet on house and patio along with gutters on patio before roofing started. Did a good job of reinforcing section of patio that needed removed and replaced due to rot. All workers were friendly and professional. Did a good job with cleanup each day; took 4 days to complete (partially due to wait on city inspector). Foreman took pictures during reroof and owner after reroof that were required as proof of installation for insurance company (had hail damage to roof). Always prompt returning calls and follow up questions. Excellent reroofing job; would definitely use again!- Amy S.

ALCR Roofing were a pleasure to work with. From roof repair to complete new roof, I highly recommend this company. I contacted them when my roof was leaking, Olin came quickly and repaired. But considering the age of my roof, and past hail damage, we requested an estimate for the whole roof which was reasonable. We scheduled months ahead, not knowing Covid19 was around the corner. Even with the scheduling difficulties caused by the pandemic, Evelyn kept her promise and sent the crew on time, and they did a fantastic job.

FI have had many customer service issues and was very disappointed with Vertex Roofing!! They are horrible at returning emails/phone calls and keeping customers updated. I ended up with a color roof that I did not select!!!!!! I was told they no longer had the color I chose, but instead of coming back and asking me, they chose another color for me on their own. It is supposedly a higher grade material, although I have not received any paperwork to that effect. Here are some of the other issues --After I signed the contract I received an email that said that I would be notified when my materials came in, which I was not. --When I developed a leak around the ceiling fan in my dining room in August, it took me two phone calls and two emails to get a response. That response did not include any offers of assistance to temporarily fix the problem. I was just told August 14th that I would be up the end of the next week or the beginning of the following. The Production Manager said that he would be out to look at the job site, which to my knowledge never occurred. --The next few weeks were very stressful as it was raining almost every day and I was worried about more leaking. I finally called on the 23rd to see if I could get an update, since no one had been out and I didn't even know if all my materials were in. -- Production Manager called Friday 24th to say a crew would be out early Monday and he would email me the specifics. I never received an email. --The crew did a good job and worked around the dogs by not going in the back yard. However, Thursday when they left they said they would be returning the next day. I work from home, so I moved a few meetings from Friday morning to Tuesday morning in case of noise. No one showed up or called until around 1 pm, the Production Manager called to say they would be back Saturday morning to finish. --Finished as promised Saturday, but I had a standing volunteer engagement and was not here when they left. I was expecting to be left care instructions and warranty information, which I never received. --One last customer service oddity was that no one in the company that I tried to contact who has a cell phone had their voice mail set up with a message confirming their name and that they are a Vertex Roofing employee. The generic you have reached ###-###-####, did not fill me with confidence that I even had the right number. All of these issues were addressed with an apology and 1.25% discount off the price, which is not a lot, but I just wanted to be done with all the hassle. Unfortunately there is a part II to the saga. I never received a final receipt from the last payment (made over the phone) or the warranty information that was supposed to come from the manufacturer. I also did not approve my two raised air roof vents and whirlybird to be removed from my roof. In fact part of the sales pitch was for an extra $10,000 I could get a raised roof line with increased air vents all along the top to save energy. I did not have the additional money for that, but the sales representative thought it would be fine with my existing vents. The contract specifies anything on the roof that will be removed and not returned, such as the satellite dish. Existing vents were not to be removed. Again it took an email and a phone call before I got a response from the Branch Manager on the vent issue (not on the receipt or warranty issues, which I did not get a response). He said he thought some existing slates/vents on the side of my house would be fine and the other vents were not needed. This contradicts the sales representative and all of my neighbors who have many vents and whirlybirds on their roofs. The Branch Manager did try to stop by once, but I was in a meeting (work from home). Since that visit I have left a voice mail and sent two emails. Ugh. Not sure why I have to argue when the contract clearly does not say they can remove my existing vents. Update a new whirly bird was installed and I got a blurry electronic copy of the warranty. I am still very unhappy with the roof color!

FThey were the worst. When I called and spoke to them, I explained what I wanted done. They sent out two young guys to wash the windows and power wash the house. The job was done poorly and the crew they sent did not know what they were doing. I have no problem with the kids, but they had no idea what they were doing. I called the manager and complained. They sent them back, and they still did a poor job. I paid them because I felt bad for the kids they sent out. The manager never came out and checked out the work. I would never use them again.
