    Affordable Home Repair
We had a terrible experience. The work was okay, but her communication was abysmal and insulting. It seems Kerry has lost all professionalism from where she was a few years ago, including when we used her about four years ago. This time it took months of calls, missed appointments, and confusion to even get her to our house. She assured us the fence would not facilitate termites, but then left it half-buried in dirt and directly connected to the house (which is a termite invitation). She never returned calls without four to eight phone calls first. Until, of course, we owed her money. Then she was both impatient and still rude.

    Mr. Electric of Flagstaff
I was happy with them. It was fine. The guy tried. I think I should clarify, when you call one of those places, you don't necessarily get the same guy. I liked the guy I dealt with. He did try hard. Obviously, I didn't see it for a long time, or I wouldn't have called him. It was just one of those things, but he did try hard. I would recommend them, I would use them.

    Granite Basin Roofing Inc
This was one of these no-show deals. I had an appointment two weeks in advance and spoke to the office confirming the day before. Greg was a no-show with no phone call, claiming to have left me a message, we don't do that work, didn't know you were on my schedule, blah blah blah .... Just a blow off ! Why don't they tell you that right up front if they don't want to do it? Confirming an appointment the day before and then getting a blow off . I think I dodged a bullet .

    Arizona Solar Solutions
One of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had. While installing my solar panels the workers spilled bright green paint on my Trex deck, I don't know why they were painting the pipes on the roof with bright green paint in the first place, my roof is a dark green and gray. They did try to wipe it up but of course that didn't work, it only smeared it more. The first solution was to just turn the boards over and hide it, the second solution was to send someone up to acid wash it, the third solution was to treat and paint it with 'Deck Over' from home depot. Even after I talked to the Trex manufacturer who said DO NOT PAINT it. I asked repeatedly for it to be replaced as it was ruined, but was assured this was the right thing to do. I live alone and have three dogs, the reason I got the Trex in the first place was to add value to my home, allow my dogs to be on the deck and not be worried about them harming it and to have no follow up maintenance for a long time. Needless to say, after one winter in Flagstaff and three dogs, the deck is ruined, totally ruined. It has not added value to my home, but has become a liability and will have to be replaced before it can be sold. The paint is peeling and is scratched every where, I don't even want to think about what I would have to do to fix it, including not allowing my dogs to be outside for a period of 8-10 hours. I asked repeatedly for the right thing to be done and was assured this was the fix I needed. Besides that, the savings they promised me has not materialized and will not materialize in my lease time. They did offer me a 12 month discount on my lease, saving me about $30 a month, but $360 over a 20 year period is not going to really matter and will not pay for the deck they ruined. I would not recommend this company to anyone, be careful about their quality of work, and their willingness to fix things they mess up.

The only complication was caused by problems locating existing main electric lines.  APS (local electric utility) initially located them more than six feet from where they actually were so considerable time was wasted searching for them.  APS returned to try again and located them correctly and Goodman employees quickly uncovered them.

They always kept me informed of status and any potential delays since they had to coordinate with the local electric, gas, water and cable utilities.  They always consulted with me about where I wanted things to go and were receptive to my concerns and ideas with the limits of what was feasible and allowable.

    Blue Truck Handyman's Service
I have been very impressed with Vidal. He has always responded to my clients calls promptly, met with them very quickly; either the same day or by the next. All of those I have sent to him have said he was prompt, very reasonably priced and no matter the job large or small finished quickly, professionally and always cleaned up after he was finished. He has done many different tasks from painting interiors, replacing rotted posts, landscape grading, tree trimming, electrical and the list goes on. It is so difficult to find reliable, reasonably priced, pleasant, professional help in Flagstaff. I have given his name to other agents in town as well. Vidal also has a great understanding of the time frames that work must be completed withinas most of my clients are needing his assistance in order to close escrow.
I have a few items around the house myself and will need to give him a call within the week. Hope he isn't too busy for me!

    Blue Truck Handyman's Service
Vidal and the guys did everything to help us get our home move-in-ready.  From repairs, to texturing and painting the walls, to electrical, right down to cleaning and even packing.  They did a great job at a reasonable price and I will absolutely call Blue Truck again.

    Blue Truck Handyman's Service
Highly recommended! We had roof leak damage that had to be repaired in our living room (30 foot ceiling) and found Blue Truck on Angie's List after not receiving return calls from several recommended contractors in town. We are SO glad we found Blue Truck. Vidal and his team were extremely responsive, stuck to their quote and most importantly, the work was top-notch. The patchwork and painting was so nicely done that we have since utilized them to replace our kitchen sink and garbage disposal, install thresholds, install lighting and paint the exterior of our home (rotten wood replacement included). The jobs have not been simple ones and the team sticks to it and does not settle for anything less than perfect. They work methodically and always do very thorough prep work, execute the job and never leave a mess behind. Their rate is extremely reasonable as well.

    Coconino Electric
Coconino Electric is a small company that provides excellent work at time and material affordable prices.  Robert completed my projects in workmanlike fashion with knowledge and skill.  I highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.  I only wish they serviced the valley area where I have another home.

    Connolly Electric & Mechanical
Called to let me know they were running about 30 minutes late. The team of 2 were friendly and professional. Had a great sense of humor.
Explained everything I didn't know about septic systems and answered all my questions. Showed me every aspect of the septic system and how it worked. Went above and beyond the actual service call to evaluate the leach bed. Found an undiagnosed of a broken septic tank lid. They knew the maker/installer of the whole system and were able to call and get a replacement and installed it in 48 hours.
Showed me the complete repair and cleaning of the system and used technology (I didn't know existed) to look at all the lines. Too cool. Showed me what to look for if I suspected problems.
Definitely 2 hours that were well spent, and they installed the new lid without any additional cost even though it was an extra trip for them.
