I have used University Auto for over 20 years to service my vehicles and my children's vehicles. They are great to work with and are always able to handle my car service needs, whether it is routine maintenance or emergency service. It is great to have a business I trust to take care of my car service needs

    Fortune Automotive
BAD! I had my car towed here when the fuel pump malfunctioned and I was stranded in frigid winter temperatures. The repair was urgent due to cold weather. Fortune Auto had my car for 2 hours. They replaced hoses and clamps on the fuel pump. They said I was safe to drive 2 hours to Boston. I was charged $150. The $150 was kindly paid by a local Catholic church as as I have been financially distressed after injuries. The very next day my fuel pump malfunctioned again! In 10 degree weather! I called Fortune Auto back and they said they would do whatever it takes to fix it right. I returned. Then they had the audacity to tell a financially distressed person getting help from a local church at the holidays that to fix it "right," it would cost another $400 or $500 *after* telling me they fixed it the day before for $150. They were attempting to milk more money from the church! I kindly pleaded with them to please refund the $150 to the Catholic church since my fuel pump again failed within 24 hours of their repair. They would not. I have no refund and no repaired car. Avoid this place !

It went very well. I have a coupon book that I had bought and it is worth every penny I spent for it, because I have saved a lot of money using it.  I also didn't have to wait very long for the services to be done. Everyone who works there is very nice and knowledgeable and can definitely be trusted to do great work.

The quality and professionalism keeps me coming back. They are very good at what they do and take their time to explain what it is in their work. They work with you no matter the type of work that needs to be done on your vehicle. They are a little bit more expensive.

Check engine light came on again the next day and traction control kicked in again on highway when AC was turned on. Brought back to Dealership next day and sat for over 4 hours waiting for them to go over previous tests and repairs.. With no telling me why my car was not in the shop yet when I was the first one to show up at the dealership that morning.. Asked a clerk why my car was not in the shop yet said she would get back with me and never did get back with me.... Bad bad bad service never again and don't recommend at all

    Wilson's Auto Repair
Jim the owner and his employees had my transmission ordered and into the shop in two days.  The work was done in a day and I am back to driving my truck.
I am very pleased with this shop and I will be taking my truck or any future auto to Wilson's Automotive on Kaibab Ln in Flagstaff.

Honest to a fault : )  Recently, my 2008 MiniCooper had an intermittent engine warning light, trouble starting, and poor engine performance.  AccuBrake diagnosed the problem and determined that my high pressure fuel pump was defective.  They could have done the repair themselves, but instead, they researched the problem and discovered that the defect was covered by a dealership extended warranty, a warranty I wasn't aware of, and that the repair had to be done by a Mini dealer.  So, Jim and John gave me the information and recommended I take the car to an authorized Mini dealer for repair.
It's been my experience that most other repair shops would not have taken the time to discover the warranty protection for this particular issue and I would have had to pay the repair bill.  I bow to Jim's and John's initiative and integrity.
AccuBrake has a sign posted in their lobby that describes the difference between Professional Diagnostics vs Basic Code Retrieval.  Jim and John "live" by these standards.  I believe that most other repair shops would have gone no further than the basic code retrieval, and certainly NOT given me information that ultimately cost them repair money.
I've been taking my vehicles to AccuBrake for the past 5-6 years for minor AND major repairs.  The experience I've described in this review has been a consistent, recurring theme.
    Thanks Jim and John.

I got an additional car, for my son.  On its trip to us from Texas it was found that the temperature knob wasn't functioning (it would turn but never engage the heat side).  On its trip from the valley up to Flagstaff we had an issue with the hazard lights.  I was again able to get the vehicle in quickly for work.  They were able determine which parts needed to be replaced (blend door activator for the heater knob and the multi-function switch (blinker arm which also housed the hazard light function) within a couple of hours.  They were able to find one part right away and had to order the other part, but was able to get that by the next day.  I was very surprised by the quickness of availability of new parts since this is an older vehicle and that each part was less than $100.  They had every thing completed before the end of the second day!  They proved themselves again to me and I will continue to use their services.

This was my first visit to a garage since I moved here from Southern California.  I was able to get an appointment day quickly and my van was ready within a few hours (several others were in line ahead of me).  I felt the price was very good and everyone was very nice and prompt.  I will continue to use them for all of my vehicle needs.

August 13, 2014: Service lady told me that the front and rear differential oil needed to be changed at $95.00 each. Told them it was done 10,000 miles ago as their records should reflect. This is a service that's unnecessary for at least every 30 to 40,000 miles. They backed off.
Feb. 12, 2014: went in for standard oil & tire rotation. Was charged for the tire rotation but the tires weren't rotated. Service manager agreed as I showed him my markings on the tires before I brought the car in. Said it wouldn't happen again.
October 29, 2013: oil and tire rotation, and rear differential oil replaced. Tires were not rotated but not caught until I got home.
Totally untrustworthy and dishonest dealership. Not going back and others should be warned.
