Pest Control reviews in Desert Hills

    Urban Desert Pest Control
I have been using Brad for 3 years. I NEVER see bugs in our home, including scorpions! My weed guy said I spray for bugs too if you want?? I said no way I LOVE my bug guy! Always on time, through, reasonably priced, responsive, and pleasant. They will come back at any time if you do see critters, which I haven't. They are the BEST

    Bulwark Exterminating-Mesa
Very happy with exterminator. He was polite, friendly and went out of his way to explain about the product he was using as well as what the procedure for the treatment would entail. I intend to utilize their services again.

Scheduled in advance, good communication with technician about arrival date and time. We've used Bulwark for years and am happy with service. Our technician, Tyler J. Is always prompt and efficient, and does a good job always asking about pests we may be seeing.

When I called and spoke with Shannon, I explained that we lived in a manufactured home; therefore there was a crawl space under the home. I further explained the situation and the history of the house - how we had rodent "proofed" out home about 5 years earlier and obviously they had breached our defenses. I told him two items of concern: 1) Someone must go under the home and find the point of entry and the level of current damage since we already had a rodent inside the home. 2) I did not want to use any poison that could cause secondary kill - not only to protect wildlife, but also because if a rodent ate such a poison and then got into our home again, and one of our cats ate that rodent, it could kill one of our pets. Shannon assured me that they used poison bait that could not kill secondarily. Odd, because the bait looked an awful lot like Jaguar, a common high-strength anti-coagulant that certainly can cause secondary kills. Anyway, he told me that they way they start was by setting up bait traps around the outside of the home for a while to reduce the rodent population. I said that was all well and good, but that I wanted to find the point of entry and seal my home. My request was ignored, ultimately. When the technician came out, he missed the scheduled window by quite a bit of time (I had schedule a day off of work to be here), so I called Shannon and asked for an update. I got voicemail, but to his credit Shannon did call me back within a few minutes and said the tech was on the way - he had gotten delayed at another job. I totally understand being busy, but my time if valuable too, and if you are going to miss your appointment by more than 30', in my opinion, a courtesy call is not asking too much. I shouldn't have to pursue them to give them money. As to the actual service: When the tech arrived, he was very personable and nice, but he did nothing more than I could have done myself, for a tiny fraction of the cost, in a few minutes time. Basically, he placed three bait boxes around my home filled with the aforementioned poison. He never even went into the portal under my house to look at the situation. He gave me a few extra poison tablets to throw under my house myself, which I did. He informed me that he would be back every week or two to check the bait and replace as needed. He never returned. I paid him at the time for the service. It was $225. After about one month, I received a call from the office person asking if I wanted them to return and refresh the bait boxes for an additional $45. Again, I can do that myself for a tiny fraction of that cost - I already own several bait boxes myself. I told her no, I did not want that, and that they could return to pick up their bait boxes. So apparently, there was no plan to ever find how that rodent got into my home. Their entire plan was to poison the rodents (and potentially other wildlife) around my home in perpetuity, for what I saw as an exorbitant price. No plan to reduce the chance of getting rodents in my home other than endless poisoning. No thanks. Yes, I understand that the rodents must be kills, and I am perfectly okay with that. I further realize that mechanical kill traps take longer to reduce rodent populations than does poison. But neither was particularly what I expressed I was looking for - I wanted a professional that knows rodents, to find the point of entry and seal it up. Instead, I spent my time doing just that since they were not about to. I was very disappointed that three bait boxes and some poison bait with zero monitoring for an entire month would cost $225. For that kind of expense, the least the tech or Shannon could have done was look in and/or under the home for the point of entry. The tech didn't even walk around the outside of the home with a mirror to look under the skirt for said point of entry. Very disappointing service and result. Below you can see an attached picture of my wife and myself in our rodent gear about to go under the house ourselves to find the point of entry.

    Phoenix Rattlesnake Solutions, LLC
After my son spotted a snake in our backyard I called Rattlesnake Solutions in a bit of a frantic state. Bryan was extremely helpful, he walked me through exactly what to do and within 30 minutes he was here to remove the snake. He not only removed and safely relocated the rattlesnake but he also taught my son and I about the snake, why it was in our yard and steps I could take to prevent future encounters! This company really goes above and beyond! Fast, affordable, and very knowledgeable!

    Action Termite & Pest Control
Although they were late, they apologized and adjusted price to make up for it. I was very glad Brent was very professional and didn't take forever to assess my situation. I was very satisfied with their service and plan to switch to them for my monthly bug control starting next month. Highly recommend.

They always do a great job.  They're personable, attentive and if we have any concerns that need to be addressed since the last treatment they're eager to get it attended to promptly.  Also, we have several animals on our property that might be susceptible to the chemicals like koi fish, parakeets, etc. and they're always very conscientious to not let over-spray affect any of them.

Lady Bug Eco Friendly Pest Control
Technician called to let me know that he was on his way.  He was a very nice guy.  We talked about our kids as he was spraying the outside.  He also thoroughly sprayed the garage.  Finally, he applied roach bait granules along the fence and in the rock areas.  I wish that he would have sprayed the inside, but he said that pesticides inside the house is not safe for the family and it does not provide value.  Once a roach enters the house, it will die in a few days anyway unless you have food laying around on the floor.  I was able to talk him into spraying in the house by the entry ways, so I am happy.
Nice guy.  Good service.  Excellent price.  I am a happy camper.

    BeesBegone
I noted a number of bees exiting the top of my chimney and called Michael Foster of BeesBegone.  Michael was incredibly friendly and informative on the phone and walked me through several steps to make sure that the bees had actually established a colony and were not just a scouting party.  Once it was established that there was a colony present, Michael said that he could be out to my home the next afternoon at 5, which I truly appreciated, since due to my work schedule, getting any service contractor to agree to late appointments is next to impossible.  I was able to send Michael pictures of my chimney, and was quoted a price of $300, which I thought was more than fair.  Michael arrived at my home on-time, despite having to drive all the way north to Anthem during rush hour.  He assessed the situation, and gave me several options.  The option I chose involved drilling several small holes in the stucco, and placing very powerful chemical strips in them to eradicate the colony right above.  Michael's work was very impressive in that he had to climb nearly 15-20 feet to drill these small holes.  After the placement of the strips, Michael told me what to expect, and only charged me $200, since he didn't have to climb to the roof as originally expected.  Michael asked me to text him with any issues, and by the next morning, there was no further bee activity.  Michael texted me the next afternoon to make sure everything was OK.
I wholeheartedly recommend BeesBegone to anyone looking for bee removal services.  Michael is an honest, knowledgeable, and professional contractor.  He stands by his work, and aims to make sure that everything is right.

The inital service they arrived as scheduled and sprayed inside and outside the house. We did notice some bugs inside the house about 4 days later and we called and they came back out and resprayed and explained that the recent rains were causing a lot of activity . Very polite and helpful.
