    Ty was our technician. He was great! He was prompt and called to give me a 20 minute warning. He diagnosed the problem, explained the fix, and gave us the pricing. One part had to be ordered and he did that and set up the installation for the following day. I would definitely use this company again and would request this particular technician.

    Didn't get fixed. More parts needed which had to be ordered. My husband decided to try to fix it himself. That didn't work either. We're making due with it the way it is. The service charge seemed a little high.

    The refrigerator stopped cooling and Affordable sent Rene, one of their repairmen who arrived promptly when they said he would within four hours of my call. Very personable and knowledgeable. Found the problem quickly and the printed circuit board was on his truck and the repair took place in less than an hour. Very pleased with this service!

    Well the refrigerator is working property, but he only informed me of the total cost at the end of the service.  And when I was signing the phone receipt, very prominently was a box TIP  and it appeared I could not go forward, or it was forcing me, to add a tip.  Very very tacky and unprofessional.  I was stuck so I gave him $20 cash.  Also I paid part via ATM card and part by cash and I had to correct the invoice before I signed it because he only put down the ATM charge of $320 and $20 due, which I paid in cash.  Too tricky and untrustworthy.  After he left, I checked online and Amazon has the same motherboard for $110, and I'm a prime member so I would have received it in two days with free shipping.  Youtube had easy installation instructions too. 
    Between Youtube and Amazon, I could have saved $250.  By the way, Accredited Appliance (?) cleaned me out until my next pay day, and this Jeremy knew it and still took the $20 tip!!  What low class slime!!  
    I called the company to notify them how I paid, including the tip, and what he wrote on the invoice and my corrections.  I also complained about the cost and that I could have purchased everything needed through Amazon.  I also advised Kelley that they cleaned me out until my next pay day.  I had recently spent a great deal on my portion of a medical bill.  I advised Kelley that I was a member of Angie's List and used their company three times in the past.  Kelley said she would have the owner call me back. 
    I never received a call back.
    No wonder my two dogs barked so much at Jeremy - he and the company could not be trusted.  I should have listened to them. 
    Always check Youtube and Amazon before any repair service. You may be pleasantly surprised how cost effective and easy doing your own repairs can be.

    I scheduled Accredited Appliance after a positive experience I had with them a couple years ago with the same fridge. The fridge had been shutting off all lights & not producing ice, but it did stay cool. Some times temp would be a bit higher. Mike from AA came out and as I showed him the fridge and opened the door to display the problem, he immediately interrupted and said "I know what the issue is" and proceeded to open the top of my fridge. He pulled a screwdriver out and fixed and broken cam in about 5 minutes. Wish I would have called sooner. I was expecting a computer issue or something serious, but my fears were alleviated. Mike then spent the next 30 minutes showing me how to clean out my coils to preserve the life of the fridge and showing me some tricks with my washer & dryer. 
    I will be calling AA for all my needs.

    He was very polite, nice guy, and showed up on time, however,
    Old sub-zero freezer not cooling, in the end it needs a compressor/condenser replacement which is prohibitively expensive from all folks we contacted.  Unfortunately, the first tech was Vladimir who suggested we try a hard-start capacitor on the compressor first.  The $75 service call went to $185 including the $12 part he installed in 10 minutes.  Said he gave an 8 day warrantee, and if this didn't work would apply the money to his $1100 compressor replacement quote.  Sub-zero authorized repair center ($2250 quote) said you can't just replace the compressor, had to be compressor/condenser due to freeon type change etc, who knows.  2nd tech said same thing, quoted $1800.  We decided NOT to fix this old fridge, so called Vladimir to see if I could get relief on the 8 day warrantee, and return the start capacitor, or buy him a new one etc.  Just don't understand how $185 spent with no effect could be reasonable when a warrantee was mentioned.  Guess the warrantee was only good if I spent even more money with him.  By the way, today he upped his quote to $1200 for a compressor, while other techs I've spoken to would do the same job for $900 - $1100.  So even if I went with him, he overquoted the compressor so I'd still be paying $185 for the $12 start capacitor service call.  I'll never call again.  My advice, is get multiple quotes, do some online research etc.

    They were very pleasant and responsive with all of our communication. In the end, we decided to purchase a new dishwasher. When I requested a refund on the Big Deal they were very courteous and directed us to Angie’s List to get the refund and they even followed up with me via email.

    Roger determined that we are in need of a new refrigerator however he was able to give it a little more life until we are able to get one. He was able to determine that the service techs that had been sent to our home in the past (once a year for the last 4-5 years) were only "band-aid"-ing the problem and now it is damaged beyond repair. I would definitely use him again.

    It went great. I have a condo I was renting out, the washer was not working so I called Appliance Doctor out. Steve came out and checked it out for me replaced bad lid switch. He checked everything else out and notified me there looked like a leak in the pipes to the drain hose. I called a Service Pro out and they fixed the leak. I would recommend Appliance doctor anytime

    Great, the office called with a reminder the day before. Steve my tech was very friendly and professional. Had a nice uniform on. Made sure he wiped his feet before he came in. Did a thorough check of my appliance. Narrowed it down to a control board. Thank goodness, I was afraid it was  the compressor. He had the part on his van and  fixed it the same day. He picked up all his trash and wiped up around his work area. He was very careful when he pulled my fridge out to make sure he didn't damage floor or cabinets. He explained everything to me. Found out he has been doing appliance repair for over 30 years and worked for Whirlpool the corporation as a tech consultant. Which explains why he seemed very knowledgeable. I really liked Appliance Doctor and would recommend them to anyone.
