This company was recommended by our insurance co. and the property management co. I was very impressed with the work, the price, and the friendliness of the crew and owner. They worked with me to get the look I wanted and I'm thrilled with the outcome! Thanks, John!

    Dreamstyle Remodeling of Phoenix
Shower Enclosure Remodel I was looking for a one-stop remodeler for my bathroom project so as to avoid juggling plumbers, dry wallers and other contractors. Dreamstyle Remodelers filled that need. Moreover, they said that my installation would be a one day job which also appealed to me. I did not want to sit around wasting time waiting for the craftsmen. The installation date turned out to be 11 weeks from the contract signing; but I was in no hurry so that was fine. The project included new wall and floor system, valves and a shower head, and a shower door. The price was $11,475, which I thought was high, but for the convenience of a single contractor doing the job in one day, I moved ahead. On the day of the installation, 2 men arrived but informed me that they did not have the shower door or one of the grab bars. They proceeded with the demolition and hauled away all the old fixtures and equipment. The demo was cleanly done, with appropriate plastic coverings on the doors and counters. They then proceeded with the new plumbing and walls which came in three pieces. Unfortunately, the installer informed me that he had ruined one piece of the wall while sawing. This meant that the walls could not be completed. So at the end of the first day, my job was half done. On day two, after the delivery of a new wall section in the afternoon (and the grab bar, but not the shower), the installer arrived about 5:30 pm to complete the wall. But it could not be done because his heat gun was inoperative and the wall could not be flattened. So he left at 5:45 and the job had not progressed. On day three, the installer arrived with the shower door and a new heat gun. I think the installer was supposed to be off that day, so I appreciated that he arrived to complete the job..which he did. The final project looks fine and I am satisfied but I am disappointed that it took three days, and that with a lead time of 3 months the components were not available on the day of installation. I felt that by paying a premium price, the service should have been as promised. The fixtures and components themselves could not have accounted for more than 25% of the price since they were mid level quality, so I essentially was paying for the timely and professional execution of the project.

I was very pleased.  The owner he always checked up and came over and looked and see if he was satisfied.  He had to make the judgement.  He had his hands full.  He checked up on the work.  He checked up on the work they were doing.

John and his crew were fantastic from beginning to end. They were fair in their pricing and bids and never complained. They always showed up on time and were extreme perfectionists/professionals in the materials they chose to use and the jobs they performed. Not only are they a great contracting company, but they are extremely kind and courteous as well. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any job whether it be small or large. They are highly dependable and available at a moments notice! Can't wait to utilize their services again!

    Home Expo Design Center
We saw an ad in the paper for the Selection Center showroom in Nashville. We were interested in remodeling our kitchen and we wanted to see what the cost of doing the renovations might be and also to see if they could recommend how it should be done. We talked to one of their representatives and we were told for $250.00 they could create a plan for our kitchen for us, and if we went ahead with the renovations the $250.00 would be applied to the cost of the job. We wrote the check for the $250.00 and we made an appointment with the representative to come out and measure our kitchen. She never showed. I called the showroom the next day to ask for this person and they channeled my call to her phone mail. She returned the call and told us that on the way to the appointment she had car trouble, and she could not find our phone number. This should have been the first red flag. She apologized to us profusely and came out another day to do the measuring and said that as soon as she had some plans worked up for us she would call us and set up an appointment for us to come to the showroom and see them. When I did not hear from her in the time frame she had promised that she would be ready to show us plans and ideas, I called her. She said she had been very busy and set up an evening appointment to show us the plans so that my husband could be there. When we got there, she could not open the file on her computer with the program they used at the Selection Center. She was fairly new there, and they had used a different program where she had worked before. She had printed out a picture of some cabinets that she had drawn in this program earlier when it had been working. She gave us a copy of it. She was hoping she would be able to recover the file later. My husband, who is a computer technology professional, said the file was clearly corrupted and that it was not going to be usable. She said that she would work on the plans and then call us for another sit down to look at them. Since it was approaching the Christmas season, she said it might be January before she was ready. We agreed with Christmas nearing that this was a reasonable delay and we would be busy until after the holiday as well. The holiday season passed and so did a few months more- we have never heard from this person again. The only reason we haven't pursued the matter with them is that we really no longer want to deal with them. The only thing we have to show for the $250.00 we paid them, is a computer printout of cabinets one one wall of our kitchen. A lesson learned! We will be very careful before we trust another kitchen remodel outfit. To date, we still have not gone back to the drawing board with anyone else.
