Plumber reviews in Cortaro

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Excellent service and professionalism. These guys will definitely be the first ones I call next time I have plumbing issues. I can't say enough good about them. They answered all my questions and explained in great detail.

  • My 1st meeting was great. He appeared almost impeccable (changing motor fan, he broke a Frigidaire plastic clip and replaced it with a ziplock tie-down). Then, he reviewed a GE dryer noise--saying it'd require dis-assembly ($40) because the prior repairman who changed solenoids forgot a screw inside during re-assembly. He then proposed to change "water control valve" on tank-less Rheem water heater ($125). I explained that Rheem provided me a warranted internal part. (I'd need copy of his license.) He agreed to email me this so Rheem couldn't void warranty per his installation. Finally, I showed him non-warranted WATERWISE distiller. He proposed a "free" diagnosis--courtesy for his new customer. So he left leaving distiller's water line unsealed.
Later, my wife used the washing machine. As the waterline supplying washing machine led to a valve that also supplied distiller, the laundry room flooded--causing me havoc and floor damage. Mr. Leon blamed a valve assembly on the shared water line that was supposed to cut off supply to distiller. He assured me his license and insurance information were current and appropriate for this. He agreed to follow up on other repairs, including the valve he blamed laundry room flood, and work out related damages as he made good on other proposals discussed: (1) dryer repair, (2) water heater repair, (3) faulty water valve at distiller replacement, and (4) exterior window shade installations.
But he refused to reply in English with me using his business phone. (Answering, "Bueno," and then hang up when I said, "Charlie," twice.) A Spanish speaker called him next, but he hung up on her, too. Yesterday, I reported my encounter online (http://www.yelp.com/biz/infinite-home-services-tucson). I was both disgusted and embarrassed.
On one hand, he winged it through a refrigerator fan motor replacement  (breaking original clip then substituting a plastic tie down which is much more lightweight and probably only last a few months before cracking off). On the other hand, his incompetence that led to floor damage was deliberately concealed. He returned my distiller, reconnected it ("courtesy" now, no charge), promised to come back out, R&R faulty water valve blamed as cause (he'd tell me which part to order), reassured his promise to disclose documentation of his compliance with local jurisdiction (license/insurance/etc).
So he got away with duping me. His medi-ochre fridge repair should have tipped me off. His empty promises made about his ability to provide other repair work and address water damages with me in follow ups were his strategy to avoid my calling sheriff. I now believe that his documentation was non-existent, his insurance, another story. Normally, if someone makes an innocent mistake, I try to work with him. But this guy was well versed in pretending. So on review, I became the bigger fool for believing in him.

  • Though don't use garbage disposal often my old unit had a severe leak and had to be replaced. My plumber was neat, prompt, efficient -- in short, all I could ask for.
As a result of my first experience,  the company is my first choice in providing me an estimate on replacing a aged, noisy water heater.

  • See above. I will add that they have been out to the house 3 times already. And overall, things are worse than when they started. At least, the faucets, when turned on, did not flood the downstairs before they came to my house.
