Tony Martin Limb and Brace, LLC
I have been a client of Tony's for nearly 3 years. He is wonderful to work with. Recently, I had need for a custom brace that would allow me to walk again. The minute I put the brace on it was like heaven. It fit me to a "T". I wear it whenever possible. Excellent work and great to work with! I wouldn't work with anyone else.

    Chiarello, Dr. Robert M.
I love him to pieces.  He is very communicative and caring and knowledgeable.  I have seen him several times since my initial appointment and we figuring out which path is best for me. We tried some boots to wear at night time initially but they didn't seem to help so I switched to injections and orthotics. I just had my third injection and I hope it fixes things and is not just a band aide.  Dr. C gave me his cell number and told me to call him in a week so we can discuss next steps.  My sister went to him also, upon my recommendation, and she loves him also. The boots are working for her, even though they did not work for me. It's nice when a doctor apologizes for running late also, and he does. He makes every effort to stay on time though. About the staff, my only complain there is that shortly after my first visit I called back to see if they could fit me in for an injection and the gal I spoke to said she would check it out and get back to me but then I never heard from her again.  Also, if you want them to order your orthotics right away you have to pay out of pocket and then they will let you know if your insurance covers it. I had to pursue a response from them a couple of times as to whether or not my insurance would cover it. Finally, I just went around them and went directly to my insurance provider, which I should have done in the first place. All that to say that I have not found the front office to be super responsive, although they are pleasant enough, I suspect they are just super busy.

I've had problems with both feet for several years. In fact, on one foot the surgery was done twice and still is not corrected. The visit with Dr. Jerome Steck went well; I immediately felt very comfortable with him. He explained the necessary procedures in detail along with the pros and cons of each possible solution. I have decided to have him do the surgery and I'm confident everything will go well. At this point, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a podiatrist.

I recently had a bone spur removed from my foot. Our family has used this practice several times, and we've only had positive experiences. I can definitely recommend this practice, and will continue to use them in the future.

    Shapiro, Dr. Gilbert D
He solved my medical problem that I had difficulty with for over five years. He immediately diagnosed the problem. He then gave me an off-the-shelf orthotic, and he solved the problem quickly and very in expensive.

    Landis, Dr. Geoffrey S.
My surgery was at the Northwest Surgical Center (outpatient).  Very well-run...these folks are real pros at creating a patient-centered experience.  Dr. Landis, along with the anesthesiologist and his nurse-practitioner have a smart, well-choreographed interaction that ensures that patients are relaxed, comfortable and receive top-notch care.  The procedure went as planned, and the recovery was much easier and quicker than anticipated.  I received follow-up calls from the nurse-practitioner, who has a great manner with patients.  I'm back in regular shoes after only two months, with minimal pain (this will pass over time) and with far greater mobility than I expected.  I basically now have the mobility of 30 years ago! If there is any criticism, it would be that the in-house physical therapy is highly inconsistent in terms of skill levels amongst the staff.  An overall better experience would be had with Adient-Gyllenhaal in Rancho Vistoso. But having said that, this is some of the best medical care that I have ever experienced in my entire lifetime, and I would give Dr. Landis my highest recommendation.

    Shapiro, Dr. Gilbert D
Dr. Shapiro called the night before surgery to ask how I was doing, asked if I had filled my prescriptions, and went over the procedure with me. Once at the hospital, he talked with me before surgery and reassured me of the procedure. He is very good at communicating and has a calm, confident, personable approach to patient care. After the surgery, he stopped by the recovery room to make sure I was okay, gave my husband the post-operative information, and gave me my follow up appointment for the following Monday. My surgery was on a Friday morning, and on Saturday afternoon, he called and asked how I was doing. I never had a doctor call me on a Saturday, even after major surgery. Great doctor!

High Point Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine
Personable, professional. Recommendations made sense to me.described two options, ordered and evaluated Xrays. Used film Xrays; most of my doctors have digital images so this seems old-school. For second opinion, I'll need to physically pick up films. No reason to doubt competance, but I'm not an expert and routinely seek second opinion prior to surgery. Seems to have extensive experience with this condition. Got me in for consult quickly. Planning on December surgery. Selected based in part on US News Best Docs search engine, and membership is foot/ankle orthopedic association.

It went well as far as the diagnosis went; but I also had an emergent issue involving sharp pain on the bottom of my feet -- which he didn't appear to have time to directly address

I first went to him on 7/29/13. I have a badly swollen left foot and ankle. He took x-rays and could not see a break or dislocation. He put me in a boot for a week. I went in today 8/5/13 and the foot is still as swollen (by measurements he took at both appointments). He is ordering an MRI to see if I've torn a ligament. I was not pleased with this doctor in the end. After he sent me to see if I had a blood clot he never again followed thru on my treatment. He let me drop thru the cracks. It was my daughter in Seattle who is a physical therapist who told me I couldn't stay in that boot forever that I started going to the gym to work out in the water to help with the swelling. He never followed thru on my treatment. I would never go to him again nor would I recommend him. I ended up having foot surgery on my bad busion and hammer toe on Feb. 6th with a foot surgeon (M.D.) from Tucson Orthopedic and was extremely pleased. His equipment is his office (x-ray machine) was old. I couldn't even get into the restroom with my walker because it was so small. His office certainly is not handicap accessible.
