    Handyman Connection - Phoenix
They were wonderful. Very professional, punctual. The Handyman Connection is actually just about the labor for performing whatever service is necessary; the homeowner buys the materials. I particularly appreciated the fact that both men were willing to go out to pick up materials for the job when something was needed, using their own money and bringing me the receipts. It made life a lot easier for me. What I really loved was that David, wanting to save me money, was willing to reuse the glass bricks I already had rather than having me spend a lot of money buying new glass bricks. He was able to do the dismantling, cleaning (there was a lot of mildew and moisture between the bricks, the result of a faulty installation sometime in the past) and rebuilding of the wall within the originally agreed-upon time frame. The bathroom looks sensational. They cleaned up fully. One thing had been overlooked, but when I brought it to the attention of the company, they came right back out and corrected the oversight.

    Next Level Remodeling Inc
Not being a novice to home remodeling, it did not take me long to recognize there were issues with the sub contractors I had engaged to complete my son's remodel of his 1,600 sq ft house.  Out of frustration I began the process of finding a new contractor.  After searching Angie's list I settled on Rodolfo Mendez owner of Next Level Remodeling.  I was impressed with his broad working knowledge of all aspects of remodeling.  His very competitive bid also did not hurt.   Throughout the remodel he had the additional challenge of correcting other contractor's errors.  Rodolfo takes great pride in his work and will ensure it is done right the first time.  My confidence with him, his brother Abe and team grew during the process to where I pretty much accepted his recommendations over the phone, something that I typically would never do.  My wife, son and I are extremely pleased with the results.  He completed the job within the agree price and on time.  We intend on using Rodolfo again to remodel our home.  The ultimate complement came when other contractors that had seen the property before Rodolfo started came to finish their work commented on the good quality of workmanship.  Rodolfo and Abe, thank you for your patience and pride is doing it right the first time. Lon and his crew were great to work with. We wanted design with function and Lon’s knowledge of products and materials along with his excellent craftsmen brought it all together. They were professional and courteous and always left things clean and tidy. We were consulted before any installation to be sure it met our specifications. We had one minor communication glitch and I made one phone call and it was taken care of immediately.

    ROBERTSON GLASS BLOCK INC
There are surprising few contractors that specialize in Glass Block work. My sense is that it is time consuming and takes expertise. Brian Robertson is very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and easy to have around. He knocked out the existing glass block, cut away the stucco to rebuild the support for the window, installed new glass block adding side support, re-stuccoed, painted and left with the window looking better than the original. A three day project. I would highly recommend and would use again.

    Shower and Bath Connection LLC
I have used Shower and Bath Connection for three separate remodel jobs. My wife and I are extremely happy with all of the work done by this company. Prior to the work beginning, we were given info on where to look for items and were given many great suggestions on what works and what doesn't. We are very happy with his  recommendations. The workers that came into our home were very professional, clean cut and pleasant to be around.  Some of the work ran a little longer than originally scheduled for, but overall, the work was completed within a reasonable time. The estimates given were very accurate and I feel the price of all the work done was reasonable. I will continue to use Shower and Bath Connection for any remodel/repair work.

The work was done beautifully, in a timely fashion by good craftsmen that work and have worked for Lon. They all communicated well and worked with the scheduling with us. The work was done with pride and with confidence. They gave and received ideas well and I have no complaints, just praise.

Lon, the company owner is very experienced in both the craftsman and design categories. We discussed my ideas for the remodel and he inserted his ideas together and everything worked. All work was done within a month. Personnel were experienced and sub-contractors were called in for certain parts. Their work ethics were professional, personnel were reliable, on time and did what they said they would do. Came when they said they would and shared information with me, as they worked. I did make a few changes and they were very willing to adapt. It was a good experience. I am so happy I had it done and anyone who has seen the work, is most complementary. The shower and bath company, were a pleasure to work with. One glass block in the walk-in shower cracked several months after the installation and Lon and another workman returned and fixed the situation, without charge. Repair work is perfect.

It was very difficult finding anyone who repairs glass block. I found Robertson Glass Block on Angie's List. I called and was called back the next day. The following day Brian came out to look at the windows in question. He told me he would be able to match the block. It took awhile to get the bid, but when I did, it was within my expectations, so I hired them to do the work. They completely replaced the window in the shower, adding waterproof backing. They took one of the blocks from the old window and used it to replace a cracked one in the larger window over the bathtub. They also regrouted the window over the bath. All in all I was very pleased with their work and definitely would hire them again.

I had a very difficult time finding a company to repair/ replace my glass block windows in Master Bath. Called a few places who no longer did anything with classic individual glass blocks. I found Robertson's Glass Block on Angie's List. My normal due diligence on a company (contractor's license, BBB, review sites) did not provide a lot of information. I needed the work done, and called the office. Brian called me within a day or two. He came out the next day to look at the job. He is extremely knowledgeable about Glass Block. He said he could match the blocks, which were originally installed in 1999. I did not receive a quote when expected, and had to follow up with emails and phone calls to get it. When I did receive the quote, I felt it was reasonable. We arranged to meet so I could get a sample block to compare it to the blocks in my windows. Perfect match. I gave him 1/2 of estimate as deposit. Originally scheduled to start on a Thursday. Brian called night before to say he was not going to be able to start until Friday. That worked okay for my schedule. Brian and another man worked very diligently from 8 am until 3 pm Friday. They protected the interior surfaces when breaking the block to replace it. They put waterproof lining around window before setting new block. Brian pointed out the rusted metal clips that were in the windows because builder did not use stainless steel ones. He replaced them. The men were unable to finish the job Friday, and returned Monday. Brian texted to let me know he was running a little late. They worked most of the day. In addition to completely replacing glass block in a 2' x 6' window in shower, after lining the window frame with waterproofing, they cut out and replaced a cracked block in a 6' x 6' window over bath. They scraped out old cracked mortar and replaced it on large window. They patched some cracks in the exterior stucco over and next to the windows. I could not have been happier with the work done by Robertson Glass Block and would definitely recommend them.
