He walks on water! In a very positive way, he doesn't take "no" for an answer! He listens and is a real miracle worker! He is well connected and gets what he needs when he has to team up with other doctors. He is sometimes late if he has been slowed down by a prier patient, but he will then take his time with us.

What was probably an infection cleared itself up a week before I was due to travel. All the tests came back negative, save for a diagnosis of mild GERD which Dr Bracher treated with drugs. On the day of the procedure, I was treated by Dr Bracher, and felt like I was in very good hands from start to finish. I was very glad I chose this Gastroenterologist clinic, and will do so again. I chose it entirely on the basis of Angie's list reviews, and I am now convinced this is great way to tread the minefield of healthcare providers.

Days before the procedure, I was starting to become apprehensive. Not with the endoscopy - I had one of those before and knew what to expect - which it is not as bad as it seems. However, the thought of having a colonoscopy was very scary - I was most concerned about the anesthesia. Regarding the colonoscopy, everyone will tell you that the prep is the hardest, which requires you to drink nothing but liquids the day before and take a laxative formula to clear your intestines. The prep actually went smoothly for the first 16 hours, I had no problems - I could easily drink the laxative formula - the secret is to add the Gatorade powder to it. It was not until the remaining laxative effect passed through my system - about midnight - that I started to experience extreme cramping and nausea for about 45 minutes. It was HORRIBLE. However, I hung in there and once that passed (again, after 45 minutes), I was fine. Although, I did only sleep less than 3 hours due to the prepping issues. I arrived to have the procedure at 7:30am. I was brought back to the room by VERY friendly and nice nursing staff - they prepared me for both procedures (IV hook-ups, vitals, etc). I then met the anesthesiologist who was absolutely wonderful - very caring and reassuring. It proved to me that birds of a feather flock together - Dr. Schwartz is so wonderful (competent and caring) that he chooses staff that are just the same. Before the procedure, Dr. Schwartz briefly consulted with me - asking if I had any problems from the prep or other concerns. I received the anesthesia about 8:30 and awoke around 9:30 am Both procedures went very well. I had no issues with the anesthesia - I awoke shortly after they were done without feeling any grogginess.. Everything went very well. I am no longer apprehensive about having a colonoscopy thanks to the support and care provided by Dr. Schwartz and his staff. While you are in recovery (a time for you to fully awake from procedure - approximately 35 minutes), Dr. Schwartz met with me to review the initial findings. He will then have you set-up a time at his office to fully review the outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz as a gastroenterologist!

This is one example of the level of care. Last year our son, who has IBS, had a serious incident where he threw up for 7 days in a row and couldn't keep anything down but gatorade and water. We went in to Dr Silber, who did several tests to rule out serious issues. He asked a lot of questions about recent events, and discovered that our son had gotten a stomach flu about a month prior. We thought this was disconnected, but it turns out that with IBS the gut can sometimes respond to these assaults by shutting down. He prescribed an old fashioned antibiotic that irritates the gut; two days later our kid was fine. During the whole time, Dr Silber and his great staff followed up daily. They even reserved a room at their associated hospital in case our son would need to be admitted, but as he was staying hydrated we did not need it.

Great to work with - doesn't just throw a pill at a symptom but wants to get to the root cause of the problem and correct that. My diet has changed and I have made some lifestyle changes based on her recommendations and I am feeling great!

He is professional, pleasant to deal with, and did a good job. He didn't have any complaints with the medical board, I always check that out.

I was satisfied when I used her. She is nice and her office is very competent. Anytime I have had any issues or called them they have taken care of it instead of me having to call them back for every little thing. I would use her again in the future.

He is a leader in the local medical community. He took care of my father for a variety of reasons and did a great job. His office is good. They were great with follow-up. The preparation was easy and the procedure and was actually pain-free. I will definitely see him again if necessary and would recommend him to others.

Dr. Schwartz is fabulous! His mannerism are very pleasant, and he just bends over backwards to communicate with you. He is spectacular when it comes to anything related to talking. He's wonderful! I would give him an A across the board for everything! I will continue to see him in the future.
