Water Heater Repair And Installation reviews in Chandler

Very responsive, on time, professional work. Fair price for a large job. Had a ruptured hot water heater, flooding my garage. Would definitely call again for any plumbing needs. Pleasant to do business with.

I met with Ben from Lawson Family Plumbing about a month ago to review the age and health of my water heater in our new house. This call was free, and Ben provided me with some valuable insight into the health of the heater - it was around 9 years old and about half full of sediment from typical use. He provided several quotes for replacement. Fast forward about a month and I called up Lawson to get the quote cleaned up and refreshed as Ben had put many options on it. They promptly emailed me a clear quote, which I agreed to shortly after. They called me very promptly the next day to schedule the install later that week at my convenience. Ben and his apprentice were very communicative of some issues they ran into getting parts that morning and also very clear about their timing of arrival. Work went as planned and they were very cognizant of not turning off house water or power for any longer than necessary. They even capped some pipes temporarily while they went for some lunch and more supplies so we could have water while they were gone. They cleaned up the work site very well at the end of install. They did miss a few things during the install: they forgot to install an expansion tank, and did not install a controller for the recirculating pump on my unit. I wrote a quick email to the owner, Jeffery, and I got a call quickly to schedule Ben back out to correct these issues. Small things like this really make the company nice to work with! The price was a bit high, but the quality of work is superb and they warranty all of their work and the equipment they provided.

I had FOR Energy Come check out my house for energy efficiency issues. Jen was extremely helpful & the whole process was educational. I had low insulation, leaky ducts & holes throughout my attic. I just had the work done & have immediate results on this hot August day. Use this company for all your home efficiency needs. Ask for Jen.

Mike & Brian Jr showed up right on time, were friendly and professional and got right to work. Installed a new 50-gallon gas water heater for exactly the price that was quoted even though they had to do some extra work on the exhaust flu because the new water heater I purchased separately had a different top than the old heater. After completing the work, they made sure I tested that I was getting hot water, then they cleaned up the area and gave a brief explanation of the unit's operation (even though I didn't buy it from them). Very highly recommended. I will call on them the next time I need a plumber. $375 which included new fittings and ball valve.

Awesome experience. They came when they said they would-I had a water softener in the way that they had to move in order to get to the water heater. He was upfront, told me it would be more expensive, gave me a reasonable quote & got the work done. He was very professional, explained everything clearly & cleaned up when he was done.

Old water heater leaking onto garage floor. Checked out local costs for replacement. Called Water Heaters Only. They gave estimate over the phone of brand name heater and time frame in which heater could be replaced that day. Trevor arrived on time, changed out water heater, answered multiple questions. Got a demonstration of how to drain yearly. Quality of service was outstanding. Haven't had water heater long enough to evaluate its quality. I like that the company will answer questions and are available to provide future service if there is a problem.

They came out the next morning and removed the old one, There was some water damage which had to be repaired and Trevor said he could come at anytime the next day to put in the new heater. The only time that would work for me was early morning, so he said no problem I'll be here at 6:00am. Sure enough he came at 6:00am and put in new heater, also a pan with drainage to the outside just in case it happened again.

I have hot water again thanks to Water Heaters Only! Got home from work in the late afternoon, opened the garage door and was welcomed with a gush of water which had flooded the floor of my garage and a ton of wet boxes (mostly filled with junk). The water heater in the corner of my garage had busted and was spewing water like a gigantic fountain. After some research on Angie’s List, I found Water Heaters Only and was glad to find they had a coupon. That, coupled with the fact that water heaters is their specialty is what convinced me to give them a call the following morning. I was surprised that they could send Don over so soon and in about an hour and a half there he was with new water heater in tow. After removing the old unit, the new one was up in running in less than three hours. He would’ve been done earlier, but made some modifications that would make the water heater look and sit better in the corner of my garage. Thanks Don for your hard work and thanks Water Heaters Only for making me a happy and satisfied customer! I highly recommend their service!

Discovered the water inlet connection at the water heater had leaked and started to rust. Even though it was no longer leaking, they couldn't do the flush because they didn't know what other damage may have been caused by the leak/rust. They recommended replacing the water heater. This was my 4th water heater in 4 years. One had lasted almost 18 years, the next 2 (same brand) split at the side seams, and the last one leaked & rusted at a soldered connection. I ended up replacing the water heater and pressure regulator. They were able to complete the work the next day, arriving on time, explaining what they were doing throughout the process, and patiently answering my questions.

I called their office late Thursday for an appointment to get a quote and was told that a technician could be out to our place between 8 - 9AM the next day (Friday). Aaron arrived at my home just after 8AM and immediately went about inspecting our old water heater and the hookups that would be needed to replace it. Aaron was pleasant and personable throughout the job and explained everything as he went along. Within a few minutes he had a quote worked up that included all parts, materials, and labor needed to replace the unit. The quote looked quite acceptable particularly with the Military Discount that they offered Veterans, like myself. So I said let's go ahead. Since my Lowe's water heater was still within the warranty period, I needed a replacement unit from directly them and that was fine with Lawson's. But I needed the new water heater picked up at Lowe's, delivered to my house, and the old unit returned to Lowe's for warranty credit. I was delighted when I found out that Lawson's was willing to do this also, included in their original quote. That certainly saved me time, hassle, and money! While disconnecting the old heater and moving it to the truck, it leaked rusty water onto the garage floor and driveway, which Aaron promptly cleaned up to prevent rust staining. The installation of the new water heater was done professionally and with a great deal of care. He even added a "sediment trap" on the gas control valve to prevent debris from clogging the gas nozzles. This feature was not included on my old original setup, but it was included at no additional cost. He also tested the house water pressure, which had never been done before here either. We checked out good at 70 psi. During the installation he also explained how/why the anode rod needed to be replaced every 3 years in our heater to prevent tank corrosion due to the fact that we had a water softener installed. After the job was complete and the new water heater was filled, he double checked all fittings for leaks, picked up all scrap materials and cardboard and placed them in his truck. One final sweep of the work area and I was given a coupon for $20 off for my next service visit. All-in-all, I couldn't be more pleased with the professional and thorough job that Lawson Family Plumbing, Inc. performed for us. I have been searching for a Valley plumbing company to be my "go-to source" for all my plumbing needs going forward and I am confident that I have finally found a reliable, affordable solution with Lawson Family Plumbing!!
