  • They where on time and professional. They did A Walk Thru with me to let me know were everything was going to be Installed and ask If I had any questions . At that time I didn't. They also did a Walk Thru with me after it was all done to make sure I was comfortable with the work and asked me if I had any questions, Which I did ..... how do I work the new thermostat and they took the time to show me how to use it and make sure I was comfortable with the new system and thermostat before they left. I would totally hire them again and I plan on it.

  • Gary Hoffman, who is the owner, and his crew are true professionals in every sense of the word. He is honest  and is a hard worker and expects the same from his employees. He is very knowledgeable in every aspect of heating and cooling and goes the extra mile for his customers. For example, I was watching my boss's home while they were away and the air conditioner stopped working. It was on the fourth of July and my boss was returning home late that evening. I called Hoffman Cooling, as he had done such an excellent job for us, and explained the situation. Gary came down to Casa Grande, on his day off and also holiday, to fix my boss's air conditioner so they would have a cool house upon their return. If this isn't going above and beyond for your customers, I don't know what else it would be. We were very impressed with Gary and his employee's professionalism.

  • Carlos arrived early, and was very good at answering all my questions.  He was very professional, focused on the task, and worked quickly.  He inspected everything, tested all the systems, measured their cooling and heating, and showed me how to clean the outdoor air conditioning units.  I would call this company first for any future ac/heating concerns.  Thank you Carlos!

  • They arrived on time.  There were two technicians.  After about 15 minutes I was advised that my compressor was bad.  They said I should also get a new condenser so the unit can be upgraded to the new freon.  When I asked how much this would cost they said about 2,800.  I was also told this would be the cash or check price, since the credit card companies charge an extra fee to use them.  I got the feeling that they wanted to sell a new a/c unit rather than fixing the current one.  As I was never given that option.
    I advised them that I would think about it and paid the 73.80 for the service call.
    About three weeks later I called another company to get a second opinion.  It was determined that the unit had too much freon, once this was corrected it has worked perfectly.  It only cost me 178 to repair the unit.

  • The technician arrived at the time specified, then completed the diagnosis.  He advised me what he thought the problem was.  Too much freon in the system.  He also explained how he arrived at this conclusion and what he would do to fix this.  He proceeded to remove all freon then returned the proper amount of freon.  He told me I had over 10 lbs of freon when the unit called for 4.5 lbs.  As explained to me, freon is a liquid that works in the a/c unit as a gas.  When the unit is too full of freon it does not allow the liquid to turn to gas.  This inhibits the compressor from working properly.  After he corrected this issue, the a/c unit has been working without any issues
    I made an appointment for the technician to check the system after a week.  Everything was still working as it should.  There was no charge for this followup appointment.
    I had another company come by two weeks earlier for an estimate.  They told me I would need another compressor.  They quoted me 2,800 for a new compressor and evaporator.  The evaporator would be needed to upgrade to the new freon being used now.
    I wanted to get a second opinion before I proceeded, I'm glad I did.  I have also added their review on this site.
    I will use Al & Rileys from here on out.

  • It was a very good experience.  The crew arrived on time, had all the equipment as promised.  The temp outside was approx. 106 degrees. The temp did not deter the crew one bit.  I absolutely would recommed this company again.  BTW, it was a Trane unitthat was installed.

  • I waited like 2 weeks for it to get here. I was dying, but it wasn't 4 Your Comforts fault. It was a husband and wife team, and they both came out, and installed it. They did a good job. They got up there, and they had to hire a truck to lift the old one up with a crane. They got it installed pretty good, and it is still running great. In the beginning, I was sitting here getting hotter, and they didn't call me, I had to call them. It came to some warehouse in Phoenix, and I don't know how quick they went. I am sure they went as soon as they can, because they have jobs to do as well. She didn't really return calls either. He came out first because I had put a call to the home warranty company to say that it had stopped, and he didn't seem really personable. She was nice when I talked to her.

  • On the invoice that Paul the technician gave us, he stated, Quote: and quot;Inspected duct work in attic. All duct work is sealed. No leaks. Recommend installing electronic cir cleaner. Reme Plus $1085.00 + tax to install.and quot; I asked him to get information on this cleaner and he said he would. Never heard from him again and I'm glad we didn't purchase that cleaner.
    I dealt with the dust for quite awhile before I hired someone else to do an audit on air flow and also check the attic. This company did find one duct completely not sealed (that was the area in the house that was getting the most dust) and other ducts that needed additional sealing.

  • Things went great! The AC at my rental house stop working. I called Al and Riley's and the gal that answered the phone could send someone out that day, luckily we were between tenants, so we set an appt for a few days. Carlos arrived, asked a few questions and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem quickly and kept me informed every step of the way. He explained what he was doing. He gave me pro's and con's. He gave me options!! I was very happy with the service and will definately call them back!

  • The techs were very prompt, came out when called to look at the unit(s), explained what the matter was, and how much it would cost to repair/replace the unit, At the Arizona City house, the tech did not bother looking in the attic ( there is a split unit) to see if that part went out also. It was the 3rd service call when the tech even bothered to look at it. After spending a lot of money on the replacement unit, i felt that it would not take a 3rd call to see what else was wrong with the unit.
    I must say that Anthony was very polite, and did his work very well. Took his time to check everything out. He returned to my house in Casa Grande when i had a service call put in. He took his time to do his job.
    There may be less expensive companies, but i am pleased with the serivce, promptness, and politness of the techs. Having worked and trained in in service areas, I find this company to have trained it;s employees very well.
