Appliance Repair reviews in Buckeye

  • We had a dryer in the garage that wasn't working. Another appliance company came and they said that it was possibly the motor and because that would be expensive to repair suggested we just buy a whole new set. Wet purchased a used set and after about a year that went out too. Found Howard's Heating/Air and Appliance on AL, and because it was a small independently owned company I wanted to give them a try. Mr. Howard was prompt, personable, and professional. Came fully prepared to do the work and never left until it was done. Gave me an honest assessment and checked other things just to be sure. Mr. Howard went above and beyond (came two other times but couldn't get the job done because of thing we had to take care of) and even did some things that we asked for that we're not in the original plan. From start to finish the experience was great. I will definitely use him again!

  • It went well.  My house was built in 2008 and this is the first time I have had this done.  There was not much to clean out, which is good.  I am just glad I got it done for peace of mind.

  • We called early in the morning and the service man was at our house before 5:00 pm and service completed with a half hour. Very professional, personable, efficient young man. Would most definitely use again.

  • The serviceman was prompt, courteous, and professional.  He listened carefully to our description of the problem.  And (this is the best part), when he was finished with the inspection, he said, "No charge!"  I would definitely recommend this company, and I will call them in the future if and when we need their services.

  • This is the only authorized repair service for my Samsung fridge in Avondale AZ - according to samsung. First phone call to the 1800 number Samsung gave me, I was on hold over 20 min then hung up on. Saw a connection to sears on BBB, so chatted online with sears rep who couldn't confirm the connection or the Samsung authorization, quoted $75 to come out. Second call, hours later, very foreign rep didn't seem to understand, quoted $120 just to come out, really? Third call, today, using Angie's list number, quoted $75 service call, can come out in 5 days. Joined angies, saw reviews, will look elsewhere. $20 to Angie might be saving me a lot more.

  • It's been a year since I used Wright's Appliance Repair, so I don't recall the details. I do remember Steven was such a pleasure to work with. He works quickly and quietly and was so patient with all my children running around underfoot. After he left, the washing machine still wasn't starting, and when I called him the next morning to check with him he realized he must have forgotten to reconnect a wire, so he turned around and was back out at my house (in Buckeye!) by lunchtime.
I'm having a problem with the switch on my dishwasher, so I'm going to have to give him a call and see if he can come back out this week. I have five kids still living at home. I may have to put him on retainer.

  • Matt was there when he said he would be, he also sent me a pic of himself when we made the appointment. This was very helpful as i was able to send his pic to my renters. I think all service people should do that. He sent me a pic of before and after of the vents. The vent looks brand new and it was extremely dirty. Did a great job on both homes and Matt is very nice.  I well defiently use Matt again.

  • I asked him to switch the door on the dryer. When I tried it the next day, it didn't work. I called Bob to ask him if it has worked for him and he said no. I would have appreciated a "heads up". I called the manufacturer but, to his credit, Bob was worried that the door switch was the problem. He went to the appliance store, checked out the dryer there, talked to the salesman and then called me to say he thought perhaps he had installed the door incorrectly. He came out the same day and went through the process again, and this time it worked. Before his call I had decided not to work with him again but that extra effort changed my mind. He is very careful and concerned that the work is done correctly.

  • Howard retuned my call promptly after contacting him on Angie's List site. He explained what needed to be done and what the outcome may be for the type of repair needed on this appliance. Apparently there was a flaw in the cable system pulley on this model. He ordered the part and repaired the door as soon as the part came in. He was professional and pleasant. Good experience and now I have an appliance as good as new.

  • I also asked him to check the tubes for the automatic detergent and softener supplies.  All he did was look at the tubes in the drawer with a flashlight and told me they were fine.  He had never seen this type of washer before.  He would not pull out the washer, remove the tubes and check to see if they were plugged.
They cancelled my appt the first day, never called my cell phone to let me know, so I hurried home to meet them only to have them change it to the following day.  Then, the next day they were late and the tech told me that he hadn't seen my name on his list.
I will never use them again.
