    Excellent! These guys were on time and professional for both the estimate as well as day of work. They were both personable to my families level of satisfaction. I practice Real Estate and am an Educator. Customer Service is very important to me and to anyone in the Service Industry. Sunny and Rikk were both able to answer all of my questions every step of the way. I will recommend them and Yavapai Plumbing and Heating to anyone asking for a referral. When you call to request service the phone call handling is even top notch. This is such a rare thing to find, but Yavapai Plumbing and Heating nailed it perfectly.

    Their pricing was extremely fair. I got some two other estimates and they were just unreasonable in my opinion. The gentleman that I wrote to, his pricing was affordable, they were on time, did everything and they did all their clean up. The system works perfectly and I can't say enough about their business. Everybody was telling me that electricity was expensive in this area so I've tried not installing central air but it was cold in the house so I decided, "How bad can it be? I'm gonna die of the cold." I went ahead and did it and actually I've been able to trim my electric bill down from when I first moved in. They got back to me right away with their quote. The three gentlemen that worked the job at different times because one person has one job that had to be done first and the other two installed the unit. They told me exactly what they were doing, how long they would be and how long the unit would be completely installed.

    For after hours emergency they were great in responsiveness and pricing. Which is the hook. then they soak you for the repairs.
    I was told to change to 25ft of pexpipe would be 2 person all day and was quoted $500, which appeared reasonable.
    The repair actually was done with 1 person and was in and out in under 1 hr, which with materials. the cost should have been 1/4 or 1/2 the quoted amount..
    When called to complain, the manager said it was a flat rate and they were not going to change it.
    Their own employee is the one who raised the question on the price when he called to get what he was to charge.
    I would never use these folks again and from speaking with others in the industry, they have a reputation for doing just this.
    Would recommend removing them from this list.

    Tech installed fan relay switch on furnace. Very high mark-up for fan relay switch. Exact new part advertised on internet for $35 to $40.00. Tech charged $174.00. Know HVAC companies mark-up parts but this much??!!! Excessive. You do the math. Total time to replace switch...1 hour 10 minutes.

    Original problem (as owner explained to tech) was low heat from furnace. This was not resolved. Tech did not check temperature coming from floor register closest to furnace during first call-out. Only cool air coming from register. Tech installed new fan relay switch causing fan to start too soon before furnace had time to heat to proper delivery temperature at register...only reached 80 degrees. Original temperature from floor register was 115 to 120 degrees.

    Called tech next day stating having issues with low heat. Tech stated furnace probably had other issues and would charge for another service call. (Should have been resolved during first visit). Tech then stated multiple causes for low-heat from furnace which could be caused from ductwork, insulation, thermostat, bad gas valve, etc. etc. Furnace worked ok for 26 years and now   as per tech may have other possible issues with heating system? 

    After much thought about paying for another service call and no guarantee of having heating issue resolved, I hired another HVAC company who resolved issue during first call-out (defective gas valve). After 26 years of service, gas valve finally gave out. Tech ordered new gas valve and installed next day...no extra service charge for second visit. This tech stated the fan limit switch (installed by previous tech) starts fan too soon not allowing furnace to reach proper delivery temperature. Furnace eventually delivers correct temperature at closest register with 115 to 120 degrees in spite of fan starting too soon. Fan should start about 30 to 45 seconds after burner ignites instead of 5 - 10 sec.

    I have called first tech and left message on answering machine (11/07/2013) about replacing and/or exchanging fan limit switch with one with a longer delay for fan to start. As of this writing (11/11/2013) I am still waiting for return call to get this resolved.  

    Would I use the first HVAC company again? Depends if fan limit switch can be replaced/exchanged without being charged again. If not, I will not do business with this company again.

    11/15/2013>After making another call on 11/14/2013..tech arrived and made minor adjustment with another switch and another charge for part. Furnace now operates within spec. Most likely will not do business with this company again..

    An inspection was requested due to insufficient heating provided by 3 units in our 4200 s.f. home. The units had been purchased by the original homeowner 4 years ago, and installed by a vendor out of Phoenix. The Chino Heating technician arrived as scheduled, inspected the 1st unit, and discovered the auxiliary heat strips had never been connected to the thermostat.  He wired the heat strips and performed other checks and tests before moving on to the 2nd unit, where he made the same discovery and applied the same fixes and tests.  The 3rd unit was found to have been wired incorrectly, and the compressor was locked-up, providing no heat at all.  The compressor was still under warranty, so the part was ordered and subsequently replaced a few days later.  All units are now producing more heat, with less run-time than before.  The technician was extremely professional, competent and knowledgeable, and provided very helfpul and useful information to us about our units and thermostats.  We are very happy with the work done and will continue to use Chino for all future inspections, maintenance and repairs, with confidence in their work and in the value we will receive.  We purchased annual maintenance agreements for all 3 heating/ac units.

    They were referred to me by Home Depot.  They convinced me to take out a Home Depot credit card to get a discount for their services.  I found out after they replaced my capacitor that I could purchase it on Amazon for around $14 but they charged me so much for it.  After they had left I figured out that they had ripped me off and saw that this was a common rip-off technique by these types of companies.  They left out screws from the AC unit.  The guy also took out the old part, hid it in his truck and pulled out a beat-up one and said that was mine.  I called him out on this too and then he told me he couldn't find my original one because it was  mixed up with the other ones.  I would use them again except that I have a maintenance contract with them still.
