When I needed to reschedule the job, Weston was easy to work with. His crew deserves praise for working steadily and efficiently during those five days needed. Neighbors commented on how especially tidy the crew was, doing an outstanding job of cleaning up the work site every day. I feel like we got everything we needed, and more. Once the job started he was always available for questions day or night. The crew did a great job and made sure clean up was done each night when they left. AMcCoy Construction Co IncAfter interviewing a few different contractors I met with Dan. I immediately liked him and felt he knew what he was talking about. He made me feel confident that he could handle the job. I received numerous quotes and Dan's was the best out of them all. After deciding to hire Dan he was at my house within 2 days to actually begin demo. On day one Manuel, the cities best tile contractor by far, and his crew had all of the carpet torn out, took all of the curtains down, moved all of my furniture and actually started the demo on the travertine tile same day. On day 3 the guys were already laying the new tile on the main floor. Having numerous neighbors stop by to check out the progress I received nothing but complements regarding the quaity of workmanship and the care Manuel and his crew showed to the job at hand and how respectful they were to me and my home. By day 7 a load bearing wall was removed and a massive beam was hoisted into place. That only took 2 days from start to finish and it was completed so perfectly that no one would know there used to be a wall there. It took 7 guys to put that beam into place but they got it done. I wanted to continue working with Dan on the rest of the remodel with a new kitchen, master bath and continue the same tile throughout the updstairs. I was initially working with a cabinet company and was just about to sign papers and give a deposit. Thank God I didn't do that after some interactions with them last minute. Dan immediately got his cabinet guy out here within an hour or so and we designed a kitchen within a few days. The kitchen design I wanted was a bit difficult but Mike, the cabinet guy, made it happen! My kitchen is more beautiful than I could have imagined. Dan told me exactly where to go to pick out granite for the counter tops and Dan has a granite guy that does the rest. Of course Manuel and the boys did the backsplash tile and also went above and beyond by hanging the vent hood over the stove. I receive nothing but complements about the style and craftmanship. Next came the master bath. I don't prefer a bath tub so Dan, Manuel and I got our heads together and planned the 9 ft master shower and removed the tub completely. Manuel is a complete genius when it comes to matching tile. Each tile is 24x48 inch calcutta marble style tile and the way Manuel lined that all up was nothing short of the genius of someone that truly knows what he is doing. Those guys worked so **** ** that shower but all I can say is WOW! Great job guys. Dan told me exactly where to go to buy shower fixtures and his plumber was here running all of the lines within a day or so. I added a few other things to the project as we went, i.e. all new baseboards upstairs and downstairs, full interior paint, under cabinet lighting, drilling out the slab to insert an electrical outlet in the floor where the wall was removed, etc. Dan didn't skip a beat. He had his guys out here right away and made sure we had everything we needed to complete the project. The guy that came out to fix some drywall where the builder grade mirrors were removed also went above and beyond. This incredible man actually walked the house and corrected any dents on the rounded corners and imperfections in the drywall and treated me so kindly. From start to finish the remodel was basically completed, with the exception of a few little odds and ends, within 12 weeks, during COVID! In this city contractors are a dime a dozen. Some are decent and most are not. Having heard horror stories of remodels gone wrong, sadly seeing them for myself, and lets not mention the contractors that start a job and disappear half way through, it's hard to know who you can trust. Dan McCoy and his crews are the best out there. I wish I could remember the name of every person that I met so that I could give them due recognition but I can't. All I can say is each and every guy, from plumber to electrician, carpenter to tile guys, it was a true pleasure to have each and every one of them working in my home. They were a joy to talk to and get to know, even over just a short time. The quality I have in my home stands for itself. Everyone says that every remodel project comes with unforseen issues and I am happy to say I can't think of anything that matches that statement. These guys are such pros that even if there was something that went wrong I didn't know it. They just took care of business and they have a lifelong client with me. I have already referred Manuel and the boys and received glowing reviews back on their work. If you're looking for the right contractor hire Dan McCoy. You'll be glad you did.- Lisa K.

AOur appliances were old and the cost to repair them did not justify the expense. The kitchen was out date with a need to demolish the old kitchen, replace cabinets, tile, electric, plumbing and install new appliance and paint the kitchen. We received prices from several contractors and through discussion it became evident that none were able function as a project manager, have access the required trades, or work with my wife to select tile, granite, cabinets, hardware and faucets. There were also concerns having strangers in our home. We selected Wolf Appliance for the kitchen. Through discussion with the Sales Associate she highly recommended Chelsea Wagner, Interior Designer/ Superintendent, with Patterson Homes LLC. Patterson Homes has a longstanding reputation of building home in the Phoenix Area and has an arm of the business the performs remolding Our first meeting with Chelsea we noted that she possessed a detailed understanding of the construction processes that we required for our Kitchen remodel and a flair for design. She was definitely someone my wife can work with. We found Patterson’s bid to be fair and accepted their proposal. The remodel would take approximately 3 weeks. For us this was a huge project. In the onset there was quite a bit of trepidation; however, Chelsea proved herself as the Project Manager we were looking for. From the start she stepped up and took ownership of the Job and in many ways exceeded our expectations. Some examples of her efforts include: • Coordinated the trades in the appropriate sequence to meet deadlines with the consideration of our schedules. • Demonstrated keen design sense in making recommendation ensuring our selections tastefully reflected what we wanted in our kitchen • Resolved challenges around wiring, faucet selection and range exhaust ductwork. • Communicated when the trades were scheduled and what task they would perform. • Dealt with change orders and finding the appropriate trade (i.e. polishing and sealing travertine floors, additional lighting, updating 20-amp service, hardware selection) • Personally, picking up materials to ensure they were available when need by the trades. • Taking calls in the evening and on weekends to answer question or address concerns. • Kept the job running while we attended a wedding out of state. We were also impressed with the trades on our job. In all instances they were courteous and respective of our privacy being in a home under construction. They were quick to correct and issues we identified. The trades were hard working. Being on the job on Saturday or working late into the evening. We never had any concerns with them being in our home. We are very happy with the Kitchen remodel, receive quite a few compliments and definitely increased the value of our home. As we consider future projects, we defiantly will have Chelsea and Patterson Homes on the job.
