  • I initially used this company for my backyard project. They were referred to me by my landscaper for the gas lines. They did an amazing job. Very thorough! I later had them back to help remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. They actually helped me design the master and I couldn't be happier. I just recently had to call upon them for air-conditioning and they were quick to respond, got me cooling again and gave me some pointers on how to keep my system running great. We eventually bought two new heat pumps from them, they cleaned our ducts, installed electronic filters, And you are all our maintenance and repairs. They’ve honored a warranty.   • Sam C. came to our home for our annual scheduled maintenance on our AC unit. He called before he arrived to let us know how far out he was and when he would arrive. Sam was extremely polite and we truly appreciated his professionalism, knowledge and genuineness. He treated us very respectfully during his visit. This was the first time Sam had come out to do our annual maintenance because our former serviceman took another position within the company, but as we began to converse with him about our AC unit, we felt confident he would do a great job with whatever issues he might find or that could crop up in the future, simply because of the knowledge he has and the way he's able to communicate that with customers. His background as an electrician also adds to his knowledge base with servicing AC units. Sam did an extremely thorough job of taking care of our AC needs. He carefully checked over our system and when we asked, he made some suggestions as to things we could do to keep our 11+ year old system in good operating condition. We decided to have him install two items that would help our AC system remain "healthy" and he made sure we understood the function of each item. Sam has excellent "people skills" and is able to explain things in a way that someone like myself who isn't very technical could easily understand. (Thanks, Sam!) We have officially adopted him as our new "AC Guru" and we would highly recommend you request him for your normal service check and especially if you have anything at all wrong with your AC system. He'll certainly be able to figure it out! We are very confident that he'll guide us in the right direction for any of our future AC needs. Parker & Sons has a "Family Plan" that we now belong to. It helps reduce the cost of repairs and allows your family members to receive the same scheduling and discount benefits. We truly appreciate the fact that the Parker & Sons service folks put on the "booties" over their shoes whenever they come into the house to keep our floors clean. Thank you to whoever instituted this procedure!

  • All of the staff were professional, well informed and concerned for our well being. The installers were punctual, worked very hard, and even vacuumed our garage when they finished. They also fully explained the new system. In addition they sent a representative a week later to meet with us to determine if the system was working properly.

  • Given that this was due to a faulty installation, requiring exactly the same part to be reinstalled as a replacement, I told the the current repairman I didn't believe that my parents should have to pay for this repair. The repairman suggested the bill would be approximately $250. I was shocked to receive a bill for more than $1000 and a note the company would place a lein if the bill was not paid. After my father spoke to Drew Hackney, the owner, the bill was reduced to $600. I believe any charge to be excessive, but $600 for replacing an identical part within 6 mo is outragous. It seems money, not customer satisfaction, drives this company.

It was more expensive than we expected, and they got us financing right off the back, they gave us a large discount from some old promotions they had and they honored it. They did a lot for us.

  • We had our unit installed from them. Based on the installation the quality was a “B”. We would use them again for the maintenance. The installation experience wasn’t so positive. I would speak on the last person who came to do the maintenance, they were very professional, very thorough. The very last person who came out was very good and very thorough.

  • It turned out to be much more expensive, he added some things on to it. We had him check all of our AC units. It needed to be done, so we had it done. The work was done well, and it has held up through extreme conditions.

  • The service technician inspecting my unit and informed me that the condenser fan motor was bad and quoted that it'd be $650 to fix. I agreed to have him replace it. Firstly, the invoice he provided me was completely plain and did not even include any of the company information. Secondly, the price was $725. He had charged me a $75 service fee. Which was supposed to go toward the work if services were performed. The technician said they don't operate that way. I had spoken with Tony, the owner, who stated that the service fee would be applied towards the price. The technician refused to honor this. (July 18, 2017) Then a few weeks later, my a/c unit quit again for seemingly the same reason. I called Best Heating & A/C Repair again. This time the technician said that the fan motor was ok but the compressor was bad and said I need a new unit for $5100. I said I needed to think it over. I had a bad feeling about this since my compressor was only 6 years old. My neighbor down the street referred me to her trusted, long-time heating and A/C guy. He came out that day and looked at my unit. He recognized the problem was that the fan motor installed by the 1st technician was 1/3 horsepower when my unit only requires a 1/4 horsepower motor. The motor installed by Best Heating & A/C Repair was way to powerful. It cause my until to start "helicoptering" off the cement pad. Also, that it was installed wrong, there were missing brackets, the fan blade was too low and the capacitor was just dangling. He removed the 1/3 horsepower motor and replaced it with a 1/4 motor and it's working perfectly now. He informed me that my compressor was not bad at all and that I do not need anew unit. I have tried calling Tony, the owner, twice and he has not returned any calls. I have the condenser fan motor that I would like to return and get my money back.
