  • Before I first used them I spent hours on the internet looking for someone that I could trust. They really came through for me when other people failed big time! They're very dependable, they know what they're doing and they're easy to deal with. It's kind of a miracle to me! I've never had a problem since they fixed the A/C about 5 years ago, which is why I've continued to have them do work on my car.

  • Steve Hardy and his helper came right to my home to replace the cracked windshield for my Buick, and they had the job done in a half hour. Great price, professional workmanship, courteous, prompt service (the day after I called for an estimate) and, as far as I can tell with my inexpert eye, a perfect job. You can't ask for more than that. I am very pleased. I like to support family owned small businesses instead of the big chains, and this turned out to be exactly what I wanted.

  • My 2014 f-150 has 35,000 miles, they told me I needed anti freeze flush, transmission fluid change and filter, brake fluid flush and a new battery for around $650.00, I found that hard to believe so I called my dealer in Chicago and they told me no way find another ford dealer. I took my truck to berge ford they checked the battery it was fine and as far as the other stuff I'm ok don't worry about it till 75,000 to 100,000 miles. so Horne ford lost a customer.

  • He had my jeep since beginning of april 2017. He promised it done in 3 months. 3 months came and not done, but had lots of excuses. Aug he was served notice to complete project within 10 business days. Took him longer than that. When our jeep came home, we looked it over closely . Welds on custom roll cage are horrible, would never hold in a roll over. And it was discovered he used sch 80 pipe and not dom, which is right material for a roll cage. He told us he was using dom. My shock tabs are also welded badly. He returned our jeep to us with work that was performed so badly it could cause a safety risk to whomever is in the jeep should a roll over happen. And my shock tabs will bust off as well. Now we have to spend more money to get some things fixed and get a new roll cage made of proper materials by someone who can actually weld right. He is also not a licensed business as he claims.

  • They have all the parts that are needed. They are done within a couple hours. They will let you know if there is anything you need to watch. They do a 38 points check on the car. Sometimes we have to call if its to late to pick up the car.

  • My car was towed to this shop because they had time to look at it same day. They diagnosed a bad clutch slave cylinder. They got one in, but it was bad, so I had to pick up the car the next day. Then he called and said the clutch was also bad and needed replacing, for $2100. I said that's too much, is there any way to get the price down? The car's only worth $2500-3000. He said no, so I said aren't there any cheaper clutches? He said a used one is cheaper, so I said OK for $1559.47. When it came in, he said it looked "brand new." When I picked up the car, I couldn't get it into gear. A technician ground it into gear and said it would loosen up. Two days later, the car was still very hard to drive so I took it back. They replaced the clutch master cylinder, but it was STILL very hard to get into gear. He said "That's what you get for buying junkyard parts. The problem is in the transmission." What I didn't know is that there are aftermarket clutches for between $200 and $400, but he never offered that. Furthermore, he said used parts have no warrantee so nothing about the job is warranteed. I took the car to another shop, a transmission shop, and the dealer. The dealer found that the pivot pin was still the old one, AND that the parts for my VIN# had been purchased from them! What?! I think they kept my car overnight and engineered the whole fiasco just to get more money since I had complained about the original cost. BTW, the dealer charges $1237.30 for all the parts for the clutch, another shop estimated $958.50. I called again, and he interrupted me saying, used parts and service are not warranteed, and that they would put in another clutch if I wanted to pay for it. I'm trying to think generously that it was misdiagnosed 3x, but I think they are simply dishonest! I'm disputing the credit card charge, complained to the BBB, and trying to find out who the owner is to request that they pay to replace the pivot pin at another shop.

  • In my family we have three vehicles.  There are two trucks and one SUV. We take all our vehicles for service at Toy Auto and have been going there for Six Years. The service is Outstanding. We have been to so many other dealers as well as small business auto  repair shops where we have been ripped off.  The owner, John is very honest and does not do any repairs unless they are absolutely necessary. He also has an eye out for any safety issues that need to be addressed as well.
I Highly Recommend ToyAuto  as a company that is RELIABLE, HONEST and Upfront with no hidden costs and REASONABLE.

  • The transmission installation were great,  Still running with no issues.

Recently I have been a problem with spurious Check Engine warnings.  Some had been for the transmission.  I had been resetting the light as no other symptoms had been noticed,  I had one come on and thought I would go to Trail to check it and see about a service.

They checked the light and it turned out not to be the transmission.  Regardless that did a check and found all in order.  I requested a periodic service,  They told me there was no need till next year (30,000 miles).  Nice.

The bill -- no charge.  The manager told me they really did do much.

These are good guys and I can recommend them without reservation.

  • Jose (Joe) Gambino was the only one in the Phoenix Metropolitan area that understood that I had a windshield problem that needed immediate attention on a Sunday afternoon. He not only had the time and the windshield, he had the best price. He showed up exactly when he said he would be there, was very professional, neat and speedy with his repair. He even cleaned my dusty dashboard as soon as the window was out.
I also had Joe repair a couple of chips on my other car. His method actually made the chips completely invisible except for a little spot smaller than a bug.
I could not be more happy with Joe and his service. Nobody wants to replace windshields but the fact of the matter is we live in the desert where rocks and windshield damage is quite common.

  • I can't say anything bad about them. Hector, the owner, is very knowledgeable. There was no waiting time to bring my car in. I just dropped my car off and they called me up and it was ready. They were professional and did exactly what I wanted. They didn't try to con me into anything else that didn't need to be done. They tell you what their business does and what they don't do. I went with them because they came highly recommended.
