  • I haven't had the service yet but the experience when calling was exceptional. I spoke with Pam who took the service call. She took my list and scheduled service for all items that were covered by my policy. She also emailed back the items that were not covered and provided the contract terms for any item that I had a question on. She was very responsive and took care of everything for me. I give her an A+.

  • The call was answer immediately by CHW, they referred us to a plumbing company who were able to come to evaluate the problem within 24 hours in my experience home warranty companies are never that fast and efficient! Kudos to CHW

  • Awoke in Phoenix today to no air downstairs in our house - our upstairs AC unit was working perfectly but our downstairs unit was kicking out nothing but hot air.  1 call later we had a tech in route from one of their service providers and they really stepped up to do the right thing on our repair after the tech started replacing parts trying to figure out the problem - a repair that could have easily cost us $1500 ended up costing us $25.  Cannot say enough good about how they have handled our issues that have come up in the last 18 months (3) and their willingness to do the right thing for their customer.  THANK YOU Wendy and staff at CAP, you have a very satisfied customer here!

  • It was after work 6:00 PM and I was in the garage when I heard the dripping from my hot water heater. I called OneGuard right away worried at the time that an evening call would be a problem. I spoke with Justin, not only did Justin make me feel confident that it was going to be taken care of, he called me right back to let me know he had spoken to the contractor and that they would call me within 10 minutes. 5 minutes later the plumbing company called me, I told him what was going on and he walked me through turning off the water to avoid further damage from the leak. By 7am the next morning before I had to go to work they were their with a brand new hot water heater. It took all but 20 minutes and I was off to work.
    I purchased a OneGuard policy when I bought my new home 5 years ago and have used them several times, their customer service and contractors they hire go above and beyond to make any unexpected situation a worry free and positive experience regardless of the time of day, or night in my situation.

  • One of my two AC units went out and they sent a fellow that said it just needed Freon, but it didn’t do what it was supposed to. The next person came a few days later and found nothing. The third person finally determined what the problem was. There was a problem with the thermostat, and the system was turning on but not staying on. I went a total of 12 days without AC in 112 degree weather. The Freon also went out really fast, so there must have been some leak that they missed.

  • This is a home warranty service [HWS]
    that our realtor suggested as part of purchasing our 7 year old home in Antham,
    AZ, a suburb of Phoenix. We've been in the house 3 months and have used the HWS
    3 times now, all have been a plumbing related issue. The plumbers are great!
    I'm NOT rating the plumbing companies in this review, I am specifically rating
    the home warranty service provider, American Home Shield based out of Carroll,
    IA - they stink, stank, stunk!
    Their phone service people must either
    have miserable lives and have fallen into a state of total meanness, or the
    American Home Shield training people teach them their total and utter
    ineptitude and disregard for any customer service. I have my guess that it is
    the later of the two. I'd rather go to the Department of motor vehicle in any
    state, you?ll get better service.

    DO NOT call you back for anything, they will tell you that they will, but they
    don't. Then when you call back, you get the total run around about how they
    ALWAYS call back and suggest that it was likely your problem - just ridiculous,
    really! And on top of it, they are condescending, rude and basically
    incompetent - they don't seem to have answers about their own services, and
    that is why they tell you they will have to call you back.
    I'm at that "Whatever" point in
    our $560.00 service provider relationship. I'm done, the money is gone - I hope
    others do not waste their housing financial resources on this company.
    Buyer beware!
