  • The contractor was very efficient, demonstrated excellent skills and professionalism, was on time in every scheduled step of construction and followed details on plans' modifications and alignment with county inspectors. What a great company!

  • My original review was posted in the wrong category and I don't know of a way to edit it. I am reposting, so that it can be placed in the more appropriate categories. I rated Quality (above) as a C because the new floor WAS done. If that had been the only work for which Mr. D. Good was hired and paid, I would have given a B. However, the paint job was pathetic and worthy of an F. He gave me a plausible reason for needing to be paid in advance and, foolishly, I accepted it as genuine and paid him in full before completion of the contract. In return, he painted only walls - very badly! By convincing me to stay with the same color, he think he assumed that his poor workmanship would not show. My pictures prove otherwise! Actually, the amateurish performance is so obvious that visitors have commented! He left me with several patchy walls and the need to hire a real painter to correct his lousy work. Mr. Good wiped the doors, skirting boards, etc. with a cloth and then tried to convince me that he painted them while I was out of country. Other than the patchy walls, NO PAINTING was done. I had to employ two men to (a) replace all furniture that had been moved, even though that work was included in the written bid price given to me by Mr. Good, and (b) replace electric switches which, ironically, had been removed - by his wife - to facilitate the painting her husband was hired to do. When presenting his bid for the work, he claimed to have a history of building $ Million houses, in Sedona, AZ. After my experience with him, I made some enquiries about his work record and learned that he is a handyman and advertises locally as such. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with being a handyman if you don't claim skills that you have yet to acquire.

  • We worked very hard to remove the smaller pieces from every room scheduled for the first day and clear the bottom rows of clothes from the closets. The crew showed up at 10:30 and instead of clearing the farthest rooms started on the middle interior rooms. They were forced to move big furniture on to the new carpeting. No logic in their work. They didn't want suggestions because they could not speak English. They seemed resentful of me chasing them around asking them to be careful of our nice pieces. We argued about the fact the second part of the house was to be done the next day so we had time, and a place to move that furniture out. They wanted to continue after 8pm. We scheduled 2 days and I had to argue with them about that. After they left we discovered none of the closet bypass doors worked. We had to hire a handyman to finish that. I had to show them how our beds disassembled and when they were assembling them they were using the wrong size socket so they damaged the bolt heads. The right size socket was in the box and I had to show them they were using the wrong tool. Baker Brothers "customer service followup" consists of No followup, No phone call, No Thank you for your business and hope you can communicate with our installers because we can't! Here is the kicker. In order for our warrenty to not be void we have to use Baker Brothers Cleaning service once a year! We will clean it once a year but not with their Cleaning Service. We would never recommend Baker Brothers to anyone.

  • Installers ( Coaudiu and Vaoeiu) did an outstanding job.  Their professional knowledge and attention to details was superb.  Job took 2 and 1/2 days.  The material and labor costs at European Design Flooring were the best that we found in our search that included 4 other businesses. The end results were new floors and moulding that looked fantastic.  We couldn't be more pleased.  I would highly recommend European Design Flooring to anyone that is considering new flooring.  In my opinion they can't be beat.

  • Horrible customer service! Unprofessional! Express Flooring does not communicate, nor do they honor contracts they have entered into with customers.
Incomplete installation of flooring purchased for "next-day" installation. We were told the remainder of the flooring would be finished once materials came in. 13 weeks of living with unfinished flooring finally completed the job.. Express Flooring states, "there is nothing functionally wrong with their flooring.  The only downside here [referring to incomplete flooring] is purely cosmetic."
Express Flooring expects the customer to compromise by choosing materials that were manufactured by another Vendor and/or are made of a different material and does not match flooring purchased., They refused reduced cost or apologize. instead blamed incomplete installation on their Vendor.
Express Flooring told us they had the flooring material in stock when we purchased and informed us at the start of the installation (2 days later) they did not have all the material and the missing material will be in within a couple of days. Express Flooring informed us, ?? we simply cannot force a company to give us something they don't have.?  We never heard from them again until we contacted them weeks later (12.5 weeks after start of the job).

  • Work was referred to an affiliate company, T&G Flooring.  They did a great job and worked hard to "squeeze me in" to their busy schedule.  They were very professional, and finished on time despite having to deal with an unexpected setback (power company shut off power in the middle of the job).  The floor looks fantastic and I am really happy with the results.

  • Dave served as general contractor on at least 8 jobs. He oversaw all facets...from concrete, structural, finish to hardscape. All at high quality and inside timeframe and target budget.

  • He wasn’t able to do the work I wanted done so I didn’t get the work done. He was very professional, courteous and kind.
