She is kind, considerate, and one of the most caring doctors that I have ever been to. She listens, understands, and has solutions instead of sending me on to another doctor. One important thing for me is that she remembers me and my medical history and has even called me in the evening to see how I was feeling. Not too many doctors do that. I would recommend her to anyone and have sent friends and family to her as well.

I took her advice and I've already seen a dramatic improvement.  She did something else that I thought was critical to success:  she went through a food list and told me what was a good choice and what was a not-so-good choice for me.  It was very surprising.  Orange juice and milk are carbohydrates.   They will spike your sugar levels.   She was very likable and easy to understand.  Though my insurance didn't cover this, it was reasonably priced.  I've paid co-pays for specialists that were higher than this.  I also liked that before she even saw me, she wanted blood work done. She was basing her advice not just on what you said, but the science of lab results.  So you can call up your pcp and have it faxed over.  She's not making money off  of test.  She's want to work in-concert with your pcp/medical establishment.  That was important to me.

I am a patient person.  I understand that places that cater to children can be a challenge, but what a nightmare!  Via telephone call, I enrolled my 19 month old son for swim lessons.  Immediately the guy on the line asked for my credit card number saying that they work on a monthly fee, like a gym.  I didn?t give it to him because I had read their no refund/30 day cancelation policy and was concerned because I had never been to the place. I was told that they provided changing rooms, showers, etc., all of the amenities that you would need for swimming.  When I arrived for his lesson, the place was insane!  It was a small facility and it was packed to the walls with screaming children and their parents (I expected SOME chaos).  Here's what happened after that?
    1. When I signed in, the girl told me she couldn?t find my son?s reservation.  After looking 3 times, she finally said, ?Oh, here he is.?  She looked like she was on drugs.
When I explained I had never been there before and asked what I should do, I was pointed to the back and told, you can change back there and was dismissed after that. When I asked about a locker, she said they only have 8 and they were all full.
The locker room was very small and only had two changing rooms and one changing table.
They called for my son 10 minutes late, a big thing when your child is active and squirmy.
The pool area was extremely loud.  It is indoors and there were probably 50 children in the pool with several instructors shouting over each other.  My son immediately started crying because of the volume and chaos in the area.
The pool deck is only approx. 3 feet wide and was littered with floatation devices, water toys, etc.  We had to literally climb over the objects on the side of the pool, a difficult task with my son, all of my personal belongings, and towels in tow.
There was no place to hang our towels or set down my bag.  I was forced to place them on the pool deck with the rest of the parents? belongings and pool equipment.
The instructor told me to leave my son on the deck while I got in the water.  The pool had no steps, just a ladder.  My son was prone to running and was already screaming.  I had to jump in the water and grab him as fast as I could.  His screaming got worse.  I wanted to give this place a chance so I stayed, trying to calm my son.
The instructor shrugged at me and then practically ignored me after that.  She came over once to tell me that all small kids scream the first few times, and that it would get better.
She focused her attention on the other parents. I couldn?t hear a word the instructor said during the lesson because it was so loud.
After the lesson, there was nobody to help me get my son out of the pool.  I set him on the deck and pulled myself out of the pool while he stood there shivering.
Our towels and my bag were wet because they were on the deck of the pool (nowhere else to put them).
The showers were along the back wall of the pool and were broken.
I had to wait in line for the changing rooms, soaking wet, and cold.
When I went back to the front counter to ask to have his name removed from future reservations, she said that she would have to check the computer.  She then started helping the guy behind me in line.  She then looked back at me with a blank stare.  I had to ask her again to take his name off of their list.  She said that he wasn?t in the computer and then asked me if I wanted to make a reservation!

I am uncomfortable with a doctor's office being in a decaying strip
mall. The office staff are friendly enough, but the environment is uncomfortable.
