    SOUTHWEST TRANSMISSION
They came and picked up my vehicle for free and took very good care of it. They installed a remanufactured transmission and its working great. They also repaired and replaced broken motor mounts that they noticed were broken. They are very fast, professional and do quality work. Will use them again and again!

Awesome. Troy took great care of me from the start.  I first called to get a quote on head gasket and I could tell Troy was a professional and sincere.  I came in an hour later to get the job started and they noticed I also needed brakes and at 100k miles I was ready for a tune up.  They said it would take 5 hours and they gave me a ride home.  Mike called in almost exactly 5 hours and asked if I needed a ride to the shop.  When I got there my vehicle was parked in front of the door and I noticed something was different about my car.  Mike said they polished my headlights as a thank you for my business.  I thought that was awesome.  my headlights look brand new and they were really bad.

They did a oil change and checked to see why it was running sluggish. They're our go-to mechanics, and we have nothing but good things to say. We take all our cars to them, and we're always happy with their work. My husband is a dispatcher, and the owner is a volunteer assistant fire fighter chief for MRFD - so that's how we initially met. They're completely trustworthy - they've never lead us wrong. We really appreciate their honesty and amazing service.  These guys are amazing, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

    AAMCO Transmissions
Last December, we took our Dodge Ram 3500 truck to the AAMCO in Flagstaff, Arizona, because the check engine light was on. Our truck?s diagnostic system told us it was due to a faulty actuator valve, which we told the AAMCO staff. They said they do their own diagnostics. Ok, that was fine. They?re the experts. They came back to us saying we needed an entirely rebuilt transmission. Because our livelihoods depend on our truck (we are full-time RV?ers who tow our fifth-wheel trailer), we told them to go ahead with the work.  Four thousand dollars, and a week of rental car fees, later, we took our truck home only to have our Check Engine light come back on after one day. We took our truck back to AAMCO, and sure enough, it was that faulty value still being faulty (only a $400.00 fix). Of course we were asking ourselves if we spent $4,000.00 for nothing, but since we love our truck, we didn?t make a scene about it. We accepted the fact that at least now we had a newly conditioned transmission that would last for years to come.   Three months later, on a trip from Arizona to Wyoming, our truck started to make strange noises. We took it to a Dodge dealership to see what the matter was. They traced our problems back to faulty transmission work from AAMCO. We called Kevin, the head guy at the AAMCO in Flagstaff to see what he?d be willing to do for us. Because we were six hours from the nearest AAMCO, he agreed to work with the Dodge folks to see what could be done. The Dodge folks called us not too soon after to tell us that they could not work with Kevin because he was admitting no fault and actually yelled and called their personnel names when they were trying to talk to him. So we tried to call Kevin to see what was going on, and he refused to take our calls.  He has not done anything to set things right since then.
