Plumber reviews in West Fork

  • Fortunately, there was a cancellation on the day we contacted Ray Lusk Plumbing so their technician came out in just a few hours. He worked very hard, using a snake to clear the clogged drain line. He explained what he was doing as he went along. He cleaned up after himself. That's how Plumbing services should operate. GOOD JOB!

  • Was referred to All Calls Plumbing by another plumber who couldn't get to the job this week. Good call because David Lamproe of ALL CALLS PLUMBING came to our home this morning and all water was flowing beautifully in just about an hour and a half. GOOD JOB! Some folks said they would come out and don't charge a service call for an estimate, but I was told there would be a $49 charge for a service call and we were happy to pay it since he came out right away. Fixed the clogged drain and gave me some tips on keeping all our plumbing running smoothly. THANK YOU. Will call again when/if we need more plumbing work.

  • This is a second or third generation family busines that is very reasonable. Mr. Rhodes and his son were very polite, totally knowledgeable and skillful. If I have more plumbing problems this is the company I will always call.

  • We called and texted  this plumber 3 times. He texted he got all our information and would get back with us ASAP. We have never heard from him since. He could t least have called us back.

  • I called Mark Hodel early yesterday morning and explained why I had called. He was very informative and really wanted to help me out the same day I called him. He was honest and advised he had some other clients on his service list but would be able to come out to my house the same day. I understood and was appreciative he could squeeze me in. Well, he called me a couple hours later and was on his way...great news!!
When he and his 2 man team, Jason and Cody, showed up they got right to work. They worked fast and did a very nice job cleaning up afterwards. The price was also very reasonable.Really appreciated the time Mark took to explain things to me and my husband. He took genuine interest in making sure we understood what had happened to the exterior faucet and  what caused it to burst so we wouldn't repeat that mistake. He also took the time to explain to us about the heat recirculatiing pump and the need for the check valve.
Overall, my husband and I were very satisfied and would definitely recommend his company!

  • They were just exceptional from the people the owner sent out here before. They are just a little bit more expensive, but they are worth it because of their quality and efficiency. They clean up afterwards. We don't need to have anybody else come out later. What should have been done with the hot water tank was not done, and they corrected that. They had to do more than just a little plumbing to get it right. I would suggest them to the new owners.

  • I hired Joe several times over the last 2 years to do a lot of plumbing work on my old home and new renovations. He has diabetes and I felt sorry for him losing his company because of illness. He is still licensed Master Plumber #5359.
Sometimes he does not make sense and he forgets things. I have fed him lunch twice because he appeared to be about to pass out. He left syringes with needles on the work site 3 times. He forgot to cover the main pipe coming out of the meter box and it froze up, so we were without water a couple of days. He does not have accounts at the supply stores, so I have to go and pay myself or give him a check made out to the supplier or him with a blank amount.
He tends to have different helpers each time, one of which was his son. There were several mistakes made and the pressure was wrong,  which cost me more to correct. He and one helper removed 7 sf of rock from the foundation to run the new addition sewer line and did not replace any of it nor shore up the flooring that rock had been supporting. Now all that rock is in piles under my home and I am not strong enough to fix it so I will have to hire someone.
At the beginning of the addition job I told to make it all to code and get it inspected. As a master plumber he knew that the work would have to be inspected before the excavation for the new line was closed up, and he failed to have it inspected and backfilled it. Then the inspector happened to drive by and see the digging, so I paid a large fine from the water company because Joe did not have the money to pay it. I had two weeks to rent another machine so he could dig up the line and get it inspected or they would shut off my water. It was winter and we had to keep a heater in the crawl space to keep the pipes from bursting because of the open hole. Once it passed inspection, Joe told me he would finish the rest of the plumbing on the addition for no charge, just some gas money, but now he says it will cost me another $4K.  And he still owes me $40 for materials he didn't buy.
I am not very happy with the Renai water heater he installed, as it takes a while to kick in and wastes water, which defeats the purpose of saving money on the propane to keep a regular tank hot. We have to run a special heat tape to keep it from freezing and the old one was fine in the same place.  I am very disappointed in Joe Seargeant and would not suggest anyone hire him any time.

  • One morning, we turned on the faucets and there was no water. We had noticed a decrease in pressure for a couple of weeks, but that wasn't unusual. We called the city water department, and by the time they got here and left it was noon. They said the problem was in our lines, so we called Rhodes Plumbing. The owner and two of his sons showed up within a very short time, shut the water off, and started work. Our house is 350 feet from the main water line, and we have water lines running to an electric livestock waterer as well. They identified the problem as a broken water line - they just had to find it. It was one of the coldest days of the year, and they worked until dark without success. Mr. Rhodes came to the door and told us they would be back early the next morning. They were back early, found it, and fixed it. They also installed two cutoff valves in case there are any future problems. The Rhodes are prompt, professional, family-owned and operated, and their work and their word is good. We wouldn't use anyone else.

  • I wish I would have check here before I hired them!!! I think they took advantage of a single mother who didnt know a thing about plumbing. The service man was there about 20 minutes total. He charged me $300 for a flange (which I didnt know only cost about $30 at Home Depot) and $175 for Labor. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

  • Great! They were on time and very professional.
