I am almost always able to get an appointment when I need to. If it is on a specific day or in a general time frame. we always arrive on time, and although we very rarely get into the room on time it is defiently worth the wait. the offices are very child friendly as are the staff

Center for Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine
We will be using him again in the future. His aesthetics were similar to my own; He didn't readily prescribe medicine, but would rather see if body could heal itself. He made us feel very comfortable and very trustworthy person, with over 30 years experience with children.

    Ivelesse Dupree MD
The doctor openly spoke about the changes taking place in her body and the changes to come. Dr. Dupree told my granddaughter that she would need one shot. The child began to cry. The doctor consoled her saying "don't think about that now tell me about your school". When she finished the exam she walked us to the office where the shot would be given. The child began to cry again after the doctor walked away. Before the shot was given Dr. Dupree returned, she held my granddaughter's hand and shielded her view of the nurse with the needle by placing some papers she held beside the child's face. Dr. Dupree softly spoke to my granddaughter until it was all over with. The child said that she will never be frightened again because there was nothing to it. She is wonderful!!!

    FRED DEMIRANDA
Dr. DeMiranda is a wonderful doctor. My son is almost five months old and we have been to see "Dr. Fred" several times for weight checks and routine check-ups. Dr. DeMiranda is always upbeat and very knowledgeable. He definitely puts parents at ease and listens to concerns fully while maintaining a respectful and humorous attitude. When my son was about 3.5 months old, he began having very loose, bloody stools. Dr. DeMiranda wanted to see him immediately and worked us in his packed schedule. He performed cultures and other tests, and within a couple of days we had a confirmed case of salmonella. I was devastated, but Dr. DeMiranda assured us that our son would be fine. He even called Children's Hospital and conferenced with the director of the infectous disease department to make sure the treatment he suggested is what should be done. Within a week my son was back to normal and is doing great. Dr. DeMiranda is the only doctor for our family. His nurses and staff and always friendly and upbeat also.

    Christopher Schluterman MD
We all love Dr. Schluterman and his manner. He is so gentle, compassionate, friendly and always has a positive approach which my children react well to. His assessments are quick and accurate and he actually listens to mom! This is something new to me, as many doctors do not try hard to hear what the parents have to say.

    Miller, Dr. William P
Dr. Miller was the best doctor I ever went to for anything. He took his time with us, never made us feel rushed. We were able to ask as many questions as we needed and if we got home and had more he would call us back to talk. My son was very sick and Dr. Miller gave me his home number in case he got worse over night.

    Sparks Regional Medical Center
My 4 year old step son and I were involved in a car accident in which we were struck from behind at about 45 mph. We didn't feel the need to go to the doctor right away but his mother, my wife, dragged us up there when she found out. haha. From start to finish, the staff was courteous and very prompt. Overall, probably my best ever experience at this or any other facility.

    Ivelesse Dupree MD
We have used Dr. Dupree for the past 5 years. Most of the time, she is one time, friendly and very personable to me and my daughter. Last year, during our visit, I requested that my daughter be referred to ACA to determine the possibility that she had ADHD. Dr. Dupree said what I needed to do was get her attention, look her in the eye and tell her to be still. I blew that off and forgot all about it because I do not like using drugs if not needed. This year, she has been a lot more flying off the wall and unable to sit still. So, this trip, I requested Dr. Dupree refer her to Perspectives to be evaluated for ADHD again. Dr. Dupree wanted to know how she was disciplined at home. I was shocked to think that a doctor like this would even suggest that hyper activity is something that needs to be disciplined. She said they normally go through the school based program. I told her I did not want to go through school based as all my foster kids, when they need it, go through Perspectives and I was pleased with the counselors there and the doctors and that is where I wanted her referred. She kind of brushed me off at that point and was very curt towards me. She informed me that she would not be able to fill out the physical form for my daughter (the one I needed to renew our foster care license) today but would call me when it was ready. THAT WAS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THIS VISIT!! I had to make this appointment 6 weeks in advance. At this appointment I was very upset with the way I was treated and with the way my concerns for my daughter were treated. ADHD is not a discipline problem. I teach a 6 week parenting class and I have over 75 hours of continuing education in taking care of foster children. It upsets me to see them all get their needs taken care of while my daughter's doctor thinks it is a matter of discipline. I know hyper activity when I see it. I've been trained to recognize it. I may use this doctor again or, I may not. One thing for sure, when I go to a doctor and I express a concern, I expect to be taken seriously and with respect for my concerns. I was not treated this way on this trip and I am upset.

The office environment was fairly busy since the practice had multiple doctors. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Dupree had a fine manner overall, but whenever I had questions or concerns about my daughter's health, her responses were to the point and her solutions were very basic. For instance, my daughter had pretty severe colicky episodes and seemed to have tummy troubles most of the time. Dr. Dupree recommended that we use gas drops (which of course we had already tried on our own). She didn't seem to take the issue (or me as a mom) very seriously. Our second visit was pretty much the same as the first...the doctor was with us only briefly, gave quick and very basic advice, and her manner made me feel like she thought I was just a clueless first-time mom. Now that I have another more and quot;typicaland quot; infant and have had a chance to interact with other newborns and their mothers, I realize that my concerns were justified and that the doctor should have helped me explore what was causing the problem. As a mom, I try to be informed and proactive when it comes to my kids' health, and I didn't feel like I could partner with Dr. Dupree in the way I had hoped to. The one other issue I had was with the office's billing...I provided our insurance info once over the phone and once in person and was told that the bill for the visit would be submitted to insurance, but then I got additional bills showing that we still owed the full amount. Turns out they had no record of receiving the billing info. Third time was a charm, though...the insurance info was entered and our bill was successfully processed.
