    Privacy Fence Inc.
After reading reviews of Privacy Fence, I contacted them to replace fencing and a gate on one side of my property. The services provided were top notch and this is the company I will call when I need fencing in the future. The entire process went smoothly. John, the owner, was prompt in every communication and meeting. He provided many options and sage advice on small details that I would likely have not thought about. His crews showed up when promised and completed the work expeditiously. I couldn't be happier with the results. If you want a company with courteous, communicative people who take pride in doing a great job, this is who you should call.

    Ever's Construction Inc
Ever's did a great job! They power-washed my whole house, getting rid of all the mold on the brick. Then they came back the next day and painted. They were very professional and did an excellent job of painting. They even repaired where there were flaws in the siding, and included extra work that I hadn't planned on doing, such as painting the garage door. They took great pride in their work. I am very pleased and will definitely call them when I need more work done!

Braun's Home Repair And Remodeling Inc
Very nice and quickly got job done. However he costed $230 more than 2 previous bids for the job, DEFINITELY call others first and shop around first. Also quoted us a significant amount higher on another job as well.

    Weather Proofing Experts LLC
Exceptionally well. The provider waited a while to complete the job, but the reason was to obtain a smaller quantity of bricks in order to save me money. Very thoughtful. Work was professional, well done, and the folks were really nice.

    Northwest Arkansas Windows and Siding

The owner came with all his certificates in hand when giving his sales pitch.  Later, we found out that the proof of insurance certificate that he showed us was not his, but the contractor's that he hired, and was told that the owner had no insurance of his own.  He represented himself as having employees, but in reality, did not have a single one.  He referred to his "contractor" as his "foreman".  Not true. The job that was suppose to take three weeks took six weeks as the contractor was pulled from our job to others (so the contractor told us).  His contractor and helper only worked two to three days a week and only partial days most of the time.  We had added a very small room on the back of our house after signing the contract but before the work was done.  The owner told us that there should be enough scraps to put the siding on it without any extra charge as the area to be covered was less than 100 square feet.  Just as they came out to start the job, he immediately tacked on an additional $500.00 without even waiting to see if the material he had would cover it.  The contractor had to scrimp and "make do" with the materials that he had as there was not enough ordered to begin with.  No inside corners were installed, "J" channel had to make do, the bottoms of the outside corners were filled with Styrofoam and caulk because the owner did not provide the caps that were supposed to be put on to prevent insect and rodent infestation.  I had to ask for something to be done as  I could look straight up and see the old siding.  The owner did not provide the vinyl mounting blocks for light fixtures so they had to be mounted straight to the siding and filled in with caulk. We have more joints in the siding as short pieces had to be used since not enough material was provided.  A person has the right to expect that a company, such as this, would do the job right and not scrimp on the material provided in order to do a professional job.  For about one hundred dollars, his cost, he could have made this two story, southern colonial a beauty.  Instead, we have Styrofoam hanging out the outside corners of our house as our house is five concrete blocks high in the front and the second story overhangs by two feet in the back.  So when I look up, I see corners filled with Styrofoam and caulk.  The underline of the siding is crooked all around the house, with lots of places for insects and spiders.  We were told that our house would be sealed up nice and tight but we had to fight to get the molding along the bottom of the siding.  When we asked about all these things, we were told by the contractor that the owner never provided these customary items.  Other contractors that came to our house during this time, pointed out the bad workmanship, which is how we came to realize that the job being done was certainly not "stellar craftsmanship".  I would have just settled for "good".  Our cows are still eating Styrofoam that was blown all over the fields.  If others are like me, you don't even know to ask for these things.  Be very, very cautious about hiring this company. The all mighty dollar seems to be his only mission.

My interaction with them is very limited. They guy came out when scheduled. He was prompt. We talked about the possibilities of what the real problem was because it just happened to be him by my siding and I cannot really tell what I am getting into. He said that he would send me a detailed estimate. There were several directions this thing could have gone in. I got the estimate and it was something like $2,500 which would not have been out of line for what maybe had to have to be done, but there was no detail at all. It just said that the repair work at the back of the house with his final figure. When I e-mailed I assume it is his wife because I recall it is his wife who does the clerical stuff, I told her that Mike would give me a detailed estimate and there were no details on. I had no idea how much is the labor, wooden materials, or how much was going to be done or not done. I asked if she could have him send me a detailed estimate, and I never heard from them again. I have not seen any of their work. My experience with them ended at that point. I am used with dealing with labor situations a little bit different from that and just to have a figure for doing a job. It has a lot of ifs and maybes in it. There is no way he could have told exactly what he was getting into looking from the outside either. If a friend called me up the phone and ask if I used them and if I would use them again, I would say no. I would say do not mess with them.

    Weather Proofing Experts LLC
Weatherproofing Experts was the only company who could do the whole job we needed without having to bring in outside help (which would have cost extra with the other roofers).

Brandon (owner of Weatherproofing Experts) came and went over the whole plan with us and answered my many, many questions.  He was very gracious and patient.  He and his crew did an amazing job for us.

Weatherproofing Experts worked around a lot of rough winter weather to help us get our roof back in shape.  At the end of each day they made sure our roof was dried in so that if any wet weather were to come, there would be no leaking whatsoever.  They went above and beyond on our roof. They even took the old fishscales off our turret, replaced the wood, wrapped the turret in Tyvek and put all the fishscales back on.  A few of the scales broke when they were being pulled off and Brandon's guys were able to create new ones with cedar shake shingles.  You can't tell which are the original and which are the new.

We had a decorative metal cap on our turret that needed to be welded and repainted.  My husband tried stripping and prepping the cap, but we wound up handing it over to Brandon to finish.  It looks amazing!  Brandon is a great welder!  He made it look brand new with the repairs and paint.

Our roofline is very complicated with the turret and 3 dormers.  They did an amazing job in a difficult working environment.  They also replaced part of the soffits and decorative wood that went around the edges.

After tearing off the wood from the dormers, they wrapped the new OSB with Tyvek before putting on the final layer of exterior wood for us.  They also did all the painting of the wood before they put it up for us.  When they finished putting up the wood, they went back and painted again so everything looks uniform and perfect.

Oh, they also weld their flashing so there is no issue with caulking getting old, deteriorating and leaking.  That is one of the features that really impressed me with Brandon's company.

We couldn't be more pleased with the way the roof turned out.  The guys cleaned up after themselves everyday and left the place looking neat.  They were a very friendly crew that never hesitated to answer any questions we had.

    |If you want a someone who goes above and beyond and truly takes pride in doing the best job possible, you want Brandon and his crew at Weatherproofing Experts.  We highly recommend them to anyone that needs roofing or siding done on their home.

    AllPro Residential
We have used AllPro before for another job.  We knew Robert did great work and we were not disappointed this time!  We had been having problems with the grout in our bathroom floor cracking and crumbling.  Our floor gave a little, so the pressure was causing the grout to fall apart.  Also, the grout in the shower where the shampoo sits was in bad shape.  Robert knew of a product that would flex with the floor, combining grout and caulk.  He worked around our schedule by coming in and working on the grout during a time when we would be out of town so the grout would dry/cure completely before we came home.  I couldn't believe the results!  You couldn't even tell where they grout had been replaced.  He did an incredible job!
Robert and his coworker, Derrick, came back after we returned from our trip and worked simultaneously on the exterior siding that was rotted and the interior wall that needed repairs and shelving.  Derrick completed the outside while Robert worked inside.
We had had another contractor a few years back reroof a small porch that attached to the back of our house.  When the former contractor put up the flashing, he tacked it ON TOP of our siding, causing water to build up behind the flashing and rot the wood.  When Derrick pulled the old siding off, it just crumbled to pieces.  We were shocked at how bad the damage was!  That roof and siding had only been replaced about 5 years ago and should have lasted many, many years.  Derrick replaced the siding the right way and it looks wonderful!
Inside the house, Robert began installing the shelves for us.  Partway through, I changed my mind on what I wanted.  Poor Robert!  He was very gracious.  Derrick pulled out the shelves while Robert ran to the hardware store for different material.  When we returned from work that afternoon, the job was complete.  We're very pleased with the results!
AllPro is professional, courteous, punctual, detail oriented and very skilled.  We will use them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Braun's Home Repair And Remodeling Inc
5 years ago my husband and I had a leak in our dining room ceiling. So, we called Braun to give us an estimate to repair the problem. He came out and recommended we replace our roof that wrapped around our porch and went over our dining room as it was in pretty bad shape and had almost no pitch to it. He gave us an estimate and we agreed to the work. Well, as the work progressed we found other areas that needed attention and wound up replacing windows on the back of the house, replacing our water heater with the newer tankless style, fixing a weird spot on our back roof where leaves would collect, residing the back of the house, etc... The work went on for quite a while. In the beginning, everything was great. Braun and his crew showed up every day, ready for work and seemed to be doing a very good, high quality job. But, as time progressed, they began skipping days, then weeks. We found out he started scheduling other jobs during ours and had to go work on them at the same time. We had one week when they didn't show up where we had to string tarps on the back of the house to keep the rain out because there was a gaping hole left exposed where work was still being performed. Toward the end of job, things started getting a little sloppy. Braun knocked a hole in the linoleum on the bathroom floor and just left it that way. Also, when I pointed out a nail that had worked it's way out of the sheet rock in our bathroom ceiling, he just took a hammer and whacked at it, missing a couple of times and leaving dents and marks on the ceiling. Again, he just left it that way. The money started running out, so Braun had to leave a couple of things unfinished, like the inside framing around two of the windows. Honestly, it wouldn't have taken much for him to finish them, but I think he was sick of working on our house, so he made it sound like it would be a whole day's work for him to come back and finish. We just told him never mind. By that time, we were sooo ready for him to be done. I was tired of calling him after getting home from work and finding that he and his crew had never shown up that day. We just wanted the job to be finished already. We felt like it drug on forever!!!! Also, because we kept tacking jobs on as we went along and didn't get written estimates, we didn't realize how much we were spending. Braun was horrible at keeping track of receipts and providing copies of labor logs. So, we were really at his mercy when it came to paying.

Well, you'd think we'd learn our lesson. Wrong. After swearing we'd never hire him again, 4 years later we found ourselves in need of some interior work and only a few short weeks in which to get it completed. We had gutted a room and needed it put back together before family came to visit. I called Braun and asked if his schedule was open. He assured me he was in a slow period with no other jobs scheduled. He looked over the job and gave us a written estimate (I learned this time around to get it in writing and not add any other jobs to the list without first getting an estimate). We agreed and his crews showed up and began the work. Just like the first time, they came everyday and worked full days. Then, as the job progressed they began showing up later and later and then missing days. We had to lock our cats up in the back room and leave the house unlocked every morning when we left for work so the crew could get in. We would come home to find the guys had never shown up and our house was vulnerable to someone just walking in and robbing it! One day we came home at lunch and found our front door standing wide open and no one around. The guy had left an hour earlier and wasn't returning for the rest of the day. He hadn't closed the door tight. If we hadn't come home for lunch, it would have stood open all day long! Another time I went upstairs to see how things were progressing and I found the attic door standing wide open and pushed up against an exposed light bulb that had been left on. The spot where the door touched the bulb had turned black and was very hot to the touch. Again, no one was around. The guy had just left it that way and had left for the day. If we hadn't come home at lunchtime it could have burned down our house!!! Needless to say we were not happy! We found out he had starting booking jobs during ours AGAIN and was putting them at a higher priority than ours. It was maddening!!! Time was running out until our family arrived and we still had a lot of work left to do. I had to remind Braun of this over and over again. The stress was horrible! They actually worked on our house and didn't finish until 1 hour before our family arrived. Next time I weaken and think I will hire him again, I will go back and reread this account and then smack myself in the head!

UPDATE: We just had another contractor come and replace siding on the back of our house that Braun had put on 5 years ago. There is a small porch roof that attached to the back of the house. Braun had reroofed the small porch roof and tacked the flashing up on the OUTSIDE of the siding, causing water to collect behind it and rot the wood. We didn't realize this till about a year ago when the siding started rotting. We called our new favorite contractor from AllPro Residential and asked him to come fix it. The siding was so rotten, it just crumbled into little pieces. I can't believe the shoddy work we got from Braun!

My husband and I thought we'd replace the siding on our kitchen ourselves.  Robert had done another project on our house and we knew he did great work.  So, we approached him about helping us with the job.  Boy, are we glad we did!  We would have been in way over our heads!  We began pulling the siding off and found all kinds of rot and problems in the walls.  Part of the problem included a leaking roof that we didn't realize was allowing water to run down the inside of the walls.  Robert worked with us on several weekends to get the project done.  My husband was able to work along side him and whenever we needed materials he was able to run to the local hardware store and pick it up.  Robert is amazing!  He's very knowledgeable and professional, takes pride in his work, shows up when he says he will, is very thorough, patient and friendly to boot.  The amount listed above that we spent on the project included all the materials. AllPro charges a flat hourly rate that fit right into our budget.  It's such a relief to find an honest contractor that really does quality work.  We're saving up for our next project now.  You can bet we'll be using AllPro from now on!
