ACharles Wyles ContractorsJoel has performed work for me before and I was very happy with that so I like that he was assigned to my job this time. Joel took the extra care to consult over the best way to do the light remounting work so as to have the least amount of patching required on the wall. He consulted with me along the way to make sure that everything was being placed as I wished. The results look just as I had wanted them. I have some additional work and I will be hiring Charles Wyles Contractors for that.- Susan S.

ACharles Wyles ContractorsJoel arrived on time and checked with me on the order that he should go on the various things on my list just in case we had too many things for the 4-hour scheduled visit. We ended up with about 15 minutes left over when everything was done and he helped me move a couple pieces of furniture with the time left over. He was very friendly and professional. I am reaching out to Charles Wyles Contractors for a couple of larger projects and i'm so very happy to have found them. They will be my go-to for fixing things here at the house.- Susan S.

ACharles Wyles ContractorsHe called to set the appt when he was supposed to and showed up on time. He was friendly and worked quickly. He did a great job on everything he worked on. He cleaned up his work areas and left them as clean as he found them. He gave me his cards and asked that I call him if I find any issues with any of his repairs. When I spoke with him on the phone I gave him my basic list of issues and he arrived with all the tools he needed to do all the repairs I asked. I will definitely use him again and refer him to anyone looking for a dependable, capable handyman.- Ginger A.

AGLASS PROI called and got a quote in the morning and was able to schedule and appointment in the afternoon. As a another reviewer noted the lobby is quite Spartan, with hard chairs and random magazines but I wasn't there for that. When I arrived I was greeted by the office person and told it would take an hour to an hour and a half. She was polite and efficient. My car was finished within 45 minutes. I paid for the windshield and was given detailed instructions on what to do and not do to while the glue was drying/curing whatever it is that does. I followed those instructions and my windshield is still there so far so good. On the quality of the windshield I can tell it is not the same as the factory installed but it does not effect my view and rarely notice unless I'm right on the glass. Overall a good experience and I have recommended them to a few friends.- Lori A.

AOzark Mountain Glass IncWe were very impressed with how well Louie integrated his efforts with those of other contractors. He told the prime contractor and us the points in the process where he needed to be involved, and he showed up punctually when those points arrived. He used thick, heavy glass and heavy-duty stainless steel hardware. The results looked great. We did have an issue with the two glass doors needing adjustment due to settling in the wall to which they are attached. Louie was responsive and effective in resolving the issues. I would not hesitate to recommend Ozark Mountain Glass to a friend.- Duane B.

AGRIFFIN GLASSThe job went very well, he ordered the glass, when he went to install it noticed that the bar was too long, came right out and told us. Let us use it until the new one got here and worked around our schedule to put it in.- carol b.

ABreakThru Glass IncThey did a great job and were very fast. The glass looks amazing! They had to set up a 3 story scaffold to do the install and all the glass needed to be tempered as we are in a high fire and wind area on a mountainside. All their guys were very professional and courteous. We had contracted with 2 other glass providers who could not even get the job started after their initial quotes, so Breakthru had the best price for contractors who would actually do the job! I inspected their work while painting the new wood trim I provided, and it is top-notch.- Jokton S.

AWynn's Glass And MirrorExcellent service from the get go. Left a voicemail on first call and received call back within an hour. Unlike other companies, they were able to travel out to the site for a quote by the next day and responded with a quote within their estimated time. The service went great -- we left the backdoor unlocked and a check on the counter and they let themselves in to make the repair and left with the check. Quality was excellent -- you can't even tell that it was repaired. EXCELLENT PRICING!- David S.

AWe found a crack in our vehicle's windshield and knew that the glass should be replaced. We got some quotes from a big name company, a local company and from Auto Glass Now. Auto Glass Now advised that they would come to our home and do the job for a very reasonable price. Two days later Robby, the installer, arrived with a new windshield. I watched him do the job and was very impressed with his work. He was meticulous in every part of the install and finished the job in 45 minutes. I would definitely call this company again for any automotive glass repair. The job was done efficiently at half the cost quoted by others.

FDo not use Window World on your project! Another night last night of being up late because all my windows are leaking, and I am covering my new wood window casings with towels to soak up the large amounts of water coming through the windows. We went with Window World because they have a great sales pitch and lifetime warranty. We had them install 29 windows for $18K on our new build addition project. Since we had installation on April 23rd these windows have leaked. We have pleaded with the company to either re-install or replace the windows and they have refused without reason and asked that we move forward with siding and project completion. We even paid $350 for an inspector to come out and document the poor window installation on May25th prior to siding being installed. Window World acknowledged the leaking and instead of standing by their “lifetime warranty” they told us (in e-mail) that the windows are not water proof. They also acknowledged the faulty product by replacing the window sashes but not the entire window. Here we are today, months later with no resolution and water everywhere. The last conversation with the owner of this company he tried to blame the siding, instead of just standing by the warranty. I have already verified siding was installed properly. I am now filing a lawsuit against this company as I have been documenting every step of this issue but just hope no one else has to go through this mess in the future.

ANoticeably darker and cooler. Looks really cool, too. They said it would take 2 hours but called after only 1 hour and 55 minutes to say they were done. I ran into the technician that did the work as I arrived and he was obviously proud of his work. Good for him. Time has shown he has every right to feel good about this job. Thanks.

Handyman Services
Recent Review:
FDO NOT enlist the services of David (Alex) Bogard, doing business as the Bella Vista Handyman. The short version: I had to take him to the Small Claims Division of the Bentonville District Court to recover money I had paid him in advance for materials for a job that he stated would take 10 days to complete. After 47 days, the job was not even close to completion, at which point I demanded a refund. When he refused, I threatened to sue him to recover my money, at which point he threatened me with a counterclaim. I won a judgment against him in Small Claims, and he still owes me roughly $185-200 from that judgment. If you'd like more information about the case, you can contact the Small Claims Division of the Bentonville District Court and ask about case SC10-91. If you'd like the longer version of my review, you may read on for more information.
I contracted with David (Alex) Bogard, the Bella Vista Handyman, for minor kitchen remodeling and extensive remodeling for two bathrooms on 03/26/2010, a job that he stated would take 10 days to complete. He completed the minor kitchen remodeling and the demolition of one of the bathrooms on 03/29/2010. From that date forward, Mr. Bogard came to my property to work for no more than 10 hours in a 47 day period. Many times during that 47 day period, he stated that he would be at my property to continue work, and never showed up. Additionally, he stated on two occasions prior to completion that he needed money in advance for materials, an amount totaling $1600.
On 05/06/2010, 47 days later, he was not even close to completing the job. The bathroom that he had started was still in a demolished state and unusable. As such, he was not even close to starting the remodeling of the second bathroom. At this point, I demanded a refund, to which he initially complied. When he refused, roughly 24 hours later, I threatened him with a lawsuit to recover my money. He then proceeded to threaten me with a counterclaim, stating that he had a signed contract from me that didn't have a completion date. He thought, therefore, that he would easily win a lawsuit and reclaim his legal fees.
Though Mr. Bogard thought a signed contract without a completion date would exonerate him, as stated in his counterclaim against me, the judge decided in my favor for judgment. In fact, Mr. Bogard still owes me approximately $185-200 from that judgment. Again, if you'd like further information, you can reference the case that's still open by contacting the Bentonville District Court and inquiring about case SC10-91.Reviewed by Amy L.

DIt did not go well. They failed to show up on the first appointment, and were late for the second by 4 hours. They then decided to take a lunch after only working 2 hours on the second appointment. They damaged 3 of my window sills during the installation, and didn't make any attempt to fix them. One of their trucks had a leak, which stained my driveway. The windows are fine, I just didn't appreciate the workers.
