    EVAN'S BODY SHOP
Their prices are very reasonable.  They tell me what it is going to cost and what needs to be done.  They give detailed invoices, just not a price.  They have their own recovery services, I don’t have to pay separately for towing includes in the price of repairs.   They are little bit higher on labor cost, but overall service kind of overrides that.  I will use them in the future, if I ever need to.

    ARKY TOWING & RECOVERY INC
Provider explained to me what he was doing with my car.  I appreciated this since my car is valuable due to its necessity. He was slightly earlier than stated and was friendly and courteous.  When he couldn't find my car's tow hook he called someone to gain information.

    Tim's Automotive & Towing
Went very well.  On previous visits with Tim with the car, Rob mentioned that the work was needed and gave me quote.  I put him off a few times and then scheduled when it was best for me.  Work was done on time and on quote.  I have used Tim's for the better part of 10 years and have always had good service.  Rob is always upfront with cost and options and always stands by the work.

They are a great company.  They offered an Angie's List coupon.  I just referred a friend and he used the coupon.  They are good folks.

    Tim's Automotive & Towing
I'm not one who writes a lot of reviews but really felt compelled to write you in this instance.  I would never used Tim's Automotive before this instance and would not have heard of them without the prior reviews.  My sports car was sitting in the garage all winter and would not start even with me trying to jump my car via generator or my other car.  The battery was only a yr old and I didn't think that the issue was with that.  After they came to my home and towed the car away, after a "battery" of tests, it was determined to be a faulty battery and the battery was replaced.  I was impressed with the level of professionalism.  They even sent someone to my home to pick me up as I didn't have a way to get to the shop to pick up my car without taking a taxi.  I was also happy to save $50 for being a Angies List member.  If I ever have another issue with my vehicles, I will certainly not hesitate in calling Tim's.

    LA FRONTERA AUTOMOTIVE
The owner is Martin Barrios. He does the work on all of our vehicles. He is a really good guy and always wants to do what is right. The pricing and responsiveness is great.

    Brace's Towing
Brace's Towing cost me $311.95 to have vehicle towed from accident scene to home 2.3 miles away. They refused to give me the address of the vehicle so they could charge a storage fee, I was hung up on when I demanded to know where they took the vehicle. I was told to take it up with the police because the vehicle was impounded. I contacted the police who confirmed what I already knew - the vehicle was NOT impounded. There was no reason whatsoever other than running a scam for that vehicle to have been taken anywhere but to my driveway two miles away.

    CAR-TOWN WRECKER SVC
The tow and storage services were adequate, but the owners were inflexible. I was not present for the towing, but it looked like no additional damages were incurred during transport. We contacted the owner the morning after to see about picking up the bike, and they suggested not moving it till insurance looked at it, so there could be no doubt of the damages. 24 days later, we found out that the driver of the other vehicle was not covered (specifically excluded) under the vehicle's policy. We contacted the tow/storage owner shortly after to discuss the bill, and the options for a possible discount since insurance would not cover it, and we were going to pay cash. The owner was unwilling to budge whatsoever on the bill. So in the end they had no issue with taking 1000 dollars from us when they knew we had 60,000+ dollars in medical bills.

    Southern Pride Towing
Their employees are usually good honest people who are very reliable and helpful. The owners, however, are scum. They try to rip off everyone (including their employees). They will do and say anything to get their way and their money. Even if it is outside state regulations. The only way to hold them to the state regulations is to know said regulations inside and out or hire a lawyer who does. These people are out for nobody but themselves. Everytime they try to act like they're helping someone out of a rut, they're really just ripping them off. They've even been known to sexually harass their customers AND employees. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON!!!! Here are just 2 stories from my dealings with them: 1. My friend blew her motor and they offered to replace it for just the cost of the motor. I was there when she handed over the money and made the agreement that IF the husband (Shannon) did the work then he could keep her core charge. Near every day that her car was in their shop Shannon would text my friend asking for explicit photographs and say that if he got them it might speed up the process. She sent him absolutely nothing. Almost 2 months later he had only pulled off the components to the orgininal motor and hadn't even removed it from the car. Also he didn't label ANYTHING. Now, I'm no mechanic, but one person working by himself 8 hrs a day could have had the entire thing completed in 3 or 4 days. The fact that the car was pretty much in pieces with no labels for lines and screws made it pretty much impossible to find a mechanic or even a shop besides the Chevy Dealership to even mess with it. Once the Dealership had her car running again she called the company the motor was purchased from to come get the old one and give her the core charge. Since Shannon had ordered the motor with HER money they had to call him and make sure that was ok first. He lied out his rump saying he paid for everything even the repairs out of his own pocket. Lawyers were brought it and the case is still pending. 2. A guy I knew was working for them. He moved to Florida and it took his wife threatening to call the labor board (after two months of fighting with the wife {Cheryl}) to get his final pay check which was still almost $300 short. Also while he was working for them he ran truck sometimes 24 hrs a day and wasn't even allowed to take the entire day off for his son's birthday. I could go on and on with stories I have of these people but it would be pointless as you have probably already gotten the idea.
